Lovely host, views, a perfect weekend spot

Lovelt host, good spot for Lewes. A 20 minute walk into town. Lovely views and a comfy bed. Was perfect for the weekend stay.

Breakfast is self-catered. The terrace is excellent and the view wonderful. Very peaceful and quiet.

Please can you feedback to owner that they could take a look at the shower door as it does not close as it should in the middle from the inside. This is intended as positive feedback and is not a complaint. The bed could be more comfortable, perhaps.

A compact studio, well decorated. It suited us perfectly.

Do your research, this is not a hotel, it is a compact self contained studio type apartment, in a residential area. Do not let that put you off. It is very well decorated, very clean and well equipped for a couple. The terrace is a sun trap, very relaxing to chill at end of day. We chose the location as a base to travel out from the town of Lewes. Meadow view suited us perfectly, it is about 20 minutes in to town walking, or a 5 minute drive. essentials were replenished daily. We had a good stay. The internet connection was very good.

Quick visit for Glyndebourne

Lovely little, self contained unit in a quiet residential area. Terraced area was a great spot for breakfast. Excellent use of the space, and everything is where you need it.

A great place for a break on a beautiful coastline.

Convenient to Newhaven and Brighton. A quiet area and good parking spot. Netflix on the tv is a bonus at night.

Hidden gem, could become a treasure

Great view across the fields, peaceful. Good access to town ...though 15 / 20mins questionable. Bus service frequent. Good storage for such a compact unit. Fresh and soya milk in the fridge. Comfortable bed.. Had we been able to make the bed into a sofa it would have been a better stay.... maybe that's an imperative.

OK. 1.we were unable to convert bed to sofa. Instructed to view a YouTube video clip which a) was too fast and b) in reverse...sofa to bed. It was a wet afternoon, host was out so we sat on bed until weather changed. Toilet seat worked loose. Hand basin barely of a size to rinse hands so shaving, face wash impossible. Hair dryer good but no mirrors within reach of a socket. Sliding door for the bathroom.. looks good..heavy wood embellished with iron latch but its weight makes it very hard to slide especially from the bathroom side.

Compact everything you need

Compact, all you need apartment. Close to the centre of Lewes easy walking distance. Lovely sunny balcony.

I liked everything but if I have to dislike something the pillows were not very comfy

I had a lovey time & was sorry I couldn’t stay longer.

Although there is a double bed I think it would be a tight squeeze for 2 people for any longer than 1 night. The studio is beautiful though and so peaceful. I arrived quite late & tired. Lights were left on and it was SUCH a welcoming space.

There was nothing I didn’t like - one thing tha5 might have been helpful would be to have the house number on the outer wall of the parking space. It was dark when I arrived & the Meadow View on the gable of the studio was not very visible from the road.

Great place to relax and windown after a heavy day.

Beautiful place, with a comfy sofa bed that is better than my own mattress! Very sunny and the birds singing in the morning was a gift. I will come back. Thank you.

The wi-fi was slow, I was ok using my data but if someone is not from the UK they might struggle a bit. Be aware it is a 25mins walk from Lewes center. I waited up to 30 mins sometimes and no bus came at the time shown at both bus stop, so ended walking. Nice walk though.

Perfect, cosy, clean stay - looking forward to coming back!

I stayed in this gorgeous little find whilst I attended Glyndebourne. It is extrememly convenient for both there and the train station. Super clean, it was exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend and I'll certainly be looking to book again when I'm back next year!

Fantastic 💗

Ellie and her family were amazing and a joy. Nothing was too much trouble, lovely hospitality and kindness. The studio was beautifully presented with everything you needed eg hairdryer, refreshments, even a toothbrush in case you forgot yours! A lovely deck to enjoy the peace and fabulous views. I would recommend staying here, I didn’t want to leave and would definitely go back.

There was nothing I didn’t like, loved it all 😃

We stayed here for the weekend. The studio is beautiful and clean and very well presented. The views from the decking area are stunning, and there is a little path at the bottom of the garden where you can go for a walk and explore some more. Ellie was amazing. I informed her that we wasn't arriving until late as the drive was 5 hours, Ellie then told us she had made the sofa bed up for us into a bed so we didn't have to mess about, this was very much appreciated. The strudio contains a microwave, and Ellie provided us porridge sachets for breakfast and also kept in touch with us throughout our stay in case we needed anything else. After leaving, Ellie messaged me to say I'd left my handbag. She then posted this to me with no issues at all. So, overall, the studio is a beautiful place to stay for a nice little weekend away. Everything you need is provided. Ellie is wonderful, honest, and trustworthy, I would definitely stay there again.
