Casa de la Reina is a breathtakingly beautiful private home nestled in a serene and peaceful jungle setting. We're just a few minutes walk to the main road of Manuel Antonio, and only 3 miles from Manuel Antonio Main beach and world-famous National Park.
Just minutes from our home in every direction you'll find superb restaurants, unique shops, cafes, art galleries, sports pubs, music venues, food stores and more.
We're only 3 minutes from vibrant Quepos town with all its restaurants, clothing and souvenir stores, markets (including farmer's market, meat and fish and organic markets).
Also in Quepos and only 10 minutes away is the famous Pez Marina with its awesome high-end shopping, marvelous restaurants, fishing charters, world-class fishing tournaments, family friendly outdoor movie nights and live music under the stars.
Our home boasts a one-of-a-kind chef's dream kitchen, 3 lovely bedrooms (each with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that look onto our deck and the esquisite jungle scenery).
The kitchen is spacious, generous with top amenities and filled with everything you need to cook your own masterpieces. It features a custom-made kitchen table/island that comfortably seats six and overlooks the living room with its high ceilings and spectacular view of the gorgeous deck and infinity pool.
Our amazing deck is partially covered so folks can eat outside on the beautiful Guanacaste wood dining table and happily converse in comfort - even in a jungle downpour. Grill tasty meals on the propane BBQ grill, relax on our comfy lounge chairs, take a nap on our giant hammock!
Custom-made bamboo tables and chairs outside of each bedroom are perfect for sipping delicious coffee in the morning while enjoying the stunning beauty of the jungle garden view.
Our three bedrooms each have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows that open up onto the deck and pool, luxuriously comfortable beds, super-quiet A/C and powerful overhead fans.
There are two bathrooms, one shared and a master bath, both with spacious standing showers with built-in shelves for shampoos and body wash, plus custom-made cabintry for toiletries.
The living room is airey with a gorgeous high ceiling and sliding glass door that opens onto the pool deck. The living room also has a cozy love chair, a super-comfy couch (extra long and specially-designed for even a very tall person to get a wonderful night’s sleep) a smart TV and beautifully designed coffee table where you can work on your computer while watching your favorite shows.
Our jungle garden is lush with palms, flowering fruit trees, towering jungle trees, colorful flowers as well as visiting exotic birds, butterflies, iguanas, monkeys, macaws, sloths and more, our home is indeed its own little paradise. We are blessed by an amazing variety of wildlife that visit us on a daily basis.
It's common to see several species of monkeys who pass through our private jungle garden including squirrel monkeys ('Titis'), white-faced cappuchins (Costa Rican 'mafia') and even the large, super scary-sounding (but very shy) howler monkeys (congos).
Our property is a favorite too for avian visitors including toucans, scarlet macaws, hawks, tanagers, exotic woodpeckers, fly catchers, brilliant hummingbirds, emerald-green mot-mots and so many more- we're a bird-watcher's HEAVEN!
Agoutis, sloths, deer, coatis, unique Costa Rican opossums...
Butterflies of every color, size and shape...
An amazing variety of reptiles and frogs!
We are blessed to have such a variety of unique and exotic creatures regularly pass through our private paradise.
We live on a very safe, very quiet street, and our neighbors are a mix of locals and long-time ex-pat residents who are very protective of our little area.
While we only have parking for one car within our security gate, we do have room for another just outside our gate, which is monitored by 24-hour security cameras and very bright motion-detector lights.
Our visitors have so many options for sightseeing, tours, adventures, hikes, jungle romps, wonderful restaurants, live music, esquisite beaches, visiting wildlife, and gorgeous scenery - every day is an amazing adventure and a wonderful opportunity to make unforgettable memories you will cherish.

We loved everything about this house! But especially the back yard that is like your own personal juggle retreat. We saw 2 kinds of monkeys, iguanas, toucans, and many other kinds of birds and butterflies. On the last day we even saw a sloth high up in the treetops. Once you go through the gate to the house, it is very quiet and seems secluded, but it is also very convenient to everything in Manuel Antonio.
Teya was fabulous to work with and the concierge was amazing. She answered all of our many questions, gave great recommendations and set up some nice tours for us.

The house had everything we needed. Great pool and back deck for relaxing and watching iguanas and monkeys! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great. It was the perfect end to our trip to Costa Rica!

This was an amazing property! The home itself was clean and comfortable. It was well taken care of. The outdoor space was beautiful! We saw many types of wildlife and plants. The pool was lovely and there was an outdoor shower which was great for rinsing off the sand after a day at the beach. Our concierge, Helena, was fantastic! She responded quickly to any questions we had and offered a lot of helpful tips and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about the house was fantastic! Helena was wonderful helping us check-in, and a great communicator throughout our stay. The owner, Teya, was great at communicating as well. Staying here was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Very comfortable, beautiful and peaceful. The house had everything we needed and was better than we’d hoped. :)
We spent hours just staring at the jungle by the pool (saw lots of wildlife) and loved all of the sounds of nature. The house mascot, “Stumpy” was great too! We’d definitely stay here again and will recommend to anyone coming to the area. 10/10

Beautiful Property. Great Location. Beautiful house. Wouldn't be the property for us in the future. We were unaware that we couldn't flush toilet paper and there isnt ac in the main area. It should be mentioned to future guests right after booking that Costa Rica is hot and tropical and that ac isnt in the main area and in case they didn't notice the rule in regards to it that it is not allowed tp be left on which means that when you come in from the heat--you walk into the heat and cannot cool down fast. Also should let guests know how expensive electricity is in Costa Rica because this will become the guests burden which is wrong. I personally think if the amount per stay doesnt cover the comfort of saying that you have ac then you raise the price per night.

We loved this home but what really made it an extra special experience was the wildlife in the backyard and the amazing hosts! They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed!!

It was a privilege to be hosted at this magnificent property. Immaculately interior design with art work throughout and surrounded by vibrant jungle setting, yet minutes away from the town and attractions.

Of course, everything was spotless and very well equipped and the pool was so refreshing but staring into the forest with lots of beautiful trees, nice birds and even some squirrel monkeys who came to greet us was the best.
Not so hard to locate either (thanks to the directions via WhatsApp) and lots of speedy communication with the owner.

This home was absolutely everything we had hoped. Well maintained, exceptionally clean, beautiful furniture and lots of space to relax and enjoy. The house backs on to the jungle and we saw all kinds of wildlife there from the deck and pool. The pool was the best part and we spent many hours enjoying the jungle and the pool.
Helena, the house manager was friendly and helpful and I had been in touch with the owner Teya many times before our arrival so we knew what to expect and I appreciate that very much.
Manuel Antonio is a lovely town with beautiful beaches, the park, the restaurants all serve good food. Only downside is it can be challenging to find parking but that wasn’t unexpected.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants privacy, jungle views with plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities, gorgeous artwork and beautiful furniture, large air conditioned rooms, and a stunning deck and pool. Very clean and well maintained.

This is a fantastic house that offers all of the creature comforts we needed. Beds were comfortable and the A/C in the bedrooms kept them nice and cool for sleeping. The pool is fantastic! We saw howler monkeys traipsing through the trees twice! Stumpy was seen often on his stump. It's a little hard to find initially, but well worth it when you get there. You will not regret staying here! We had 5 in our party and there was plenty of room. Concierge Eric helped us make some reservations and made sure we met the right guides. Any message was quickly answered.

A big thanks to Teya for letting us stay in her home. She is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The home is beautiful and I really like the layout of the property. Each bedroom has easy access to the pool area. You are practically in the jungle with a prime view of the diverse wildlife.
We had one snafu with the power being out for an hour during our stay but it luckily got restored quickly.

Wonderful home with great hosts. Teya made everything effortless and Gary was invaluable in helping us book excursions. Probably our favorite VRBO we've ever stayed in.

From the time we got there until we left, we had a wonderful time. Communication was excellent as we met Fabio to take us to the house and orient us to everything. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Beds are very comfortable, AC kept home cool and ceiling fans in each room. The pool is gorgeous. Relaxing on the back patio, we saw several troops of monkeys come through in the trees in backyard. Saw Red macaws on our last day up close versus flying over. The home is nestled in between Quepos and manual Antonia so we spent time in both for groceries and restaurants. We enjoyed numerous meals at the restaurants that they recommended in their welcome book. The farmer’s market in Quepos did not disappoint and we highly recommend if you are there on a Friday or Saturday when it is open! We can’t forget Stumpy! He was a favorite to see each day! I highly recommend this home for your vacation! Our family( 3 college age kids) loved our stay here!

We had an amazing stay at Casa de La Reina!! The house was very comfortable and the setting is amazing. Monkeys, birds & iguanas in the back yard. Gary was very helpful with tips on the area and arranging surfing lessons for our son. We will be back.
