I made friends for life in the most beautiful Tunisian home away from home!

Everything - incredible place - beautiful people!! Bessa and the staff!! The effort Bessa has made with his business to make the most wonderful experience of staying in a home away from home! The beautiful rooms!! The gorgeous terraces on many levels! The fruit trees and flowers! The hammocks and common areas! I stayed a total of six nights and I didn’t want to leave!

It was perfect and exceeded expectations! Best hostel in the world!

The room was clean, the location is perfect, the property has a nice garden, the staff were very helpful and kind, good place to start as a backpacker! Thankyouu guys!

A trash can was missing in the room; The building has high ceilings which makes it very reverberating at night. Especially during ramadan. But I am hypersensitive to sound.

Over priced & far out of town centre

Modern

Lots of issues. Poor internet, some showers not hot. Drains back up. Friendly staff but they dominate the communal areas.l, leaving their stuff everywhere so little space for guests.

Great place to feel welcomed in Tunisia

The staff was super friendly and helpful. All the hostel is super clean! It is near the airport (taking a taxi) but a bit far from the city center.

There is only one bathroom with shower. Not well located for using public transports. In my second stay I didn't have a locker to lock my baggage in.

Solid Hostel for a Several Day Stay in Tunis

Very friendly and accommodating staff who were kind enough to let me check in quite late when I arrived on an evening flight. Clean facilities and well-equipped kitchen. Nice common area where everyone can gather and talk amongst each other, making it easy to meet fellow travelers.

While it is located close to the airport, it is a bit far from the downtown area where all the sights are (~1 hour walk).

Dortoirs chers payés.

C'est propre, bien organisé et on reste autonome. Personnel serviable.

J'ai réservé une chambre qui indiquait trois lits. Je n'ai pas compris qu'il s'agissait en fait d'un *dortoir* du type auberge de jeunesse. Et en fait, il y avait 4 lits et aucune table de chevet. Mon compagnon de chambre ronflait, son alarme a sonné plusieurs fois, et il s'est levé en plein milieu de la nuit en allumant la lumière. Pendant ce temps, un panneau de métal cognait constamment dehors. Impossible de dormir. Heureusement je n'y était que pour quelques heures, le temps de prendre un avion très tôt le matin. Comme l'auberge est un peu au milieu de nul part, il faut commander un taxi via l'application Bolt. C'est efficace mais le coût de la course est beaucoup plus élevé. Au final, le dortoir inconfortable coûtait aussi cher qu'une chambre individuel ailleurs et l'avantage d'être proche de l'aéroport se dissipe par l'obligation de commander un taxi beaucoup plus cher via une application.

Pas grand chose.

Bruyant, difficile à trouver, obliger de sonner pour rentrer à chaque fois, pas spécialement propre, cuisine vieillotte. Cher pour ce que c’est, une chambre partagée alors que c’est très mal indiqué dans l’annonce.

The facility is adequate. The opportunity to meet with young people is priceless!

I appreciate the opportunity to chat with the young people from different countries! We chatted for 4 hours with wonderful young people from Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and China, totally about 6 or 7 people. So glad to hear what they talked about their countries, people, economics, strength and problems, and their views of the world situation... It was very open-minded and friendly, happy and serious chats. I have been looking forward to stay in hostel for this kind of opportunities. I am a 73 years old Taiwanese grandmother living in USA for 50 years, this is my last day with my tour group in Tunisia, I need to stay overnight in order to catch my flight next day. How precious is this encounter with young people from different countries! Thank you all!

Please put a reminder on the wall in the room to return the room key, along with the reminder to turn off the light! I feel bad about forgetting to return it.

Cheap And Friendly Hostel In A Very Boring Neighborhood

Friendly and helpful staff Opportunity to meet a variety of other guests from all over the world Very affordable

Location of hostel was not great The neighborhood was very limited with only a handful of shops and restaurants... None of them took contactless payment (only one ATM in the area also) For some reason (maybe Tunisian law) the hostel had no signage and was very hard to find even for the taxi driver

Very relaxing and comfortable stay for a few days

Very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. Great conversations with everyone at the property, and was able to relax, rest, and recharge for a few days midway through my trip. I loved Tunis, and wished I could have stayed longer. Great weather, beautiful historical sites, and friendly people. Would definitely stay at Nomads Hostel again, and appreciate the warm welcome I felt while there.

1 Star is enough

The place was not clean and I didn't not feel like it worth my money

I did not like that I have been marked as No show even I paid them and stayed there. The staff cancelled my reservation after marking it as No Show. Drives me nuts Now Booking is going to charge me for the fees I am done trying to explain the issue for both sides Never again this Hostel

Enjoyed my stay

Great place to stay, second reservation, five days total, great when arriving in and departing from Tunis | staff is very nice (made chocolate cake again) and welcoming, even with flights arriving in the middle of the night | appreciated being up-graded to the air/con dorm | tram is close and accessible at the Cite el Khadra station, just a few minutes walk from the hostel |

Highly recommended!

This place is a true haven. The owners and staff are like a caring family. I intended to explore more of Tunis, but their warmth kept me close. It's not just a stay, it's an embrace. The cleaning is impeccable, and the location is fantastic. Additionally, the staff members are funny and remarkably educated, so you can literally have a chat about anything all day long. Worth every penny I spent! Highly, highly recommended!

Loved the experience and planning a repeat.

The staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my total experience at the facility was positive. I enjoyed the opportunity to meet and interact with other guests from around the world.

The hostile lacked an identifying sign outside the building making it hard to find, The confirmation sheet did not include the street address & telephone number of the property. The lobby and reception area are not airconditioned.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff, including Badr, Rahma, Wissem, and Chaima, was exceptional. The cleanliness, comfortable bed, and artistic design with beautiful paintings made it truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Very good

Very nice place, clean and comfortable. The owner and staff are really great. Very helpful. I was there in July when it was extremely hot and they offered an air conditioned room after I checked out so I could relax before catching my evening flight.

The information on Booking.com wasn't clear to me in regards to whether the 3 and 4 bed rooms are private or shared. For a single traveler these are shared rooms and I thought they were private. Just make this clear to avoid confusion.

Exceptional

Great hosts who went above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents. Very professional staff. I really enjoyed staying in nomads hostel amongst the finest of people. The rooms are clean and calm, the place is cosy and the staff is amazing. All in all, I totally recommend it.

Fantastic staff!! Cozy settings. Good location in walking distance to the downtown.

Hard to find - no sign indicating there was a hostel or anything at all. One shower to share for all the guests is not enough and queing occured everyday. The doors was so noisy that everybody woke up during the night whenever someone entrered or left the room.

A perfect place to meet people and learn about Tunisia thanks to the host. I loved share my time with everyone, or just a meal with Bessa, his advices about where to visit were really good also. I had a really good time. Thank you!
