The property is very well maintained, very neat, clean and homey (Not super contemporary). Large space for 2-6 adults (Couples) to stay. Host is very considerate, left a welcome basket, water, tea and coffee. Neighborhood is very quiet, can put you off at first glance. Close to Stenson College Dorms. Short 5-6 block drive to DeLand Main Street. Has a carport and it came in handy because we were there for Bike Week, and it rained most of time. If you stay be kind and treat the property like you own, it. Rare find.

The Blue Moon Cottage is the perfect vacation getaway. It is located in a super quiet neighborhood but is only a short distance to dining and shopping. We were at Daytona Beach is less than 30 minutes and could escape the hustle and bustle just as quickly.

Great find. House comes with everything you could want even soft, comfortable throws. Close to downtown Deland. Everything you could possibly want is close. Quaint town, lots of terrific places to eat.

Our group stayed Thurs through Sunday night. We attended a 4 day event approximately 15 minutes away. Clean and comfortable. Loved having a washer and dryer. Bathrooms are updated. Welcome snacks and water in fridge were a great touch.

The stay was wonderful, We were able to visit our son at Stetson, visit theme parks, and enjoy some good meals in downtown DeLand. Renee our host was more than helpful throughout the stay.

All went smoothly. We had the added bonus of a surprisingly major art show in Historic Downtown Deland that we were unaware of til we arrived, but we crammed in a wonderful half hour before the show closed at 5 pm. In terms of planned sleeping rooms, we intended to travel (from MIA) with my Mom who fell ill at last minute so it was my husband and I. The master bedroom had one very comfy queen bed. Another room had two less comfy twin beds. At the side entrance to the home (and open to the kitchen) was a cot that would not suffice for many adults. So plan accordingly (this may have been described on the site and I did not pay sufficient attention). I had a wonderful nite’s sleep in the comfy queen bed! Downtown Deland (maybe a mile or two away at most) was a pleasure. We were there for a memorial so only stayed one nite. We would have booked a hotel if not for my Mom, but we were pleased to have the home: the nite we arrived we invited a couple of family members over for pizza and a glass of wine while I baked cookies for the following day’s brunch. It was good to have a home🌺 thank you Renee

We travel extensively and have never had a host supply items that Renee had readily available to us. From snacks to paper towels to first aid supplies.... she made our stay a breeze. Will definitely return.

A friend and I came for a motorcycle rally in Deland over a four day weekend. The location was great because it was just a few miles from the rally and easy access to gas stations. The house is very cute and quaint. The primary purpose of our stay was just a place to sleep and shower, but also had a refrigerator and a microwave. It’s much nicer than sharing a hotel room. If we come back for next year’s rally, we will definitely see if this place is available. The host was quite nice in the communications we’ve had, and was very considerate by leaving bottled water and some snacks. That is something you don’t see often.

First of all have got to say this probably was one of the best customer service/greetings I’ve had yet, nice gift basket which was well needed of a day of riding on the motorcycle especially when having room for things is difficult enough to grab basic supplies, definitely hit the spot!! Will definitely return loved the location super quiet not far for motorcycle events in Daytona. Great experience all around!!! House was super cozy and bed was fantastic. Give a try for sure!

I was working in town, teaching a class in Artisan Alley, exactly 1 mile away. This cottage in a quiet neighborhood was the perfect retreat after my busy days. All essentials were provided and the place was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed being there and also exploring the vibrant arts/food scene in DeLand.

This lovely little cottage in Deland, Florida is perfect! We used it to drop our daughter off at Stetson University, as it’s super convenient to the University, Downtown, and easy access to Orlando, and other local attractions, like Daytona Beach. Recently, renovated by the host, the kitchen and bathrooms are are quite new. And our host, Renee, is quite accommodating and responsive. We will definitely use this unit again when we need to be near Stetson.

The home was cozy and clean… check in was a piece of cake… a lovely note from the owner and snack welcome basket upon arrival… chairs and towels to use for the beach, and it is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. We very much enjoyed our stay here. DeLand is a quaint town with really unique shops and eateries and lots of personality.

Such a perfect house with a great owner that thought about everything. We couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you again.
