About this house rental

Warning – book a stay at Victory Cottage and you may not want to leave! This fabulous holiday home has been recently renovated to create a wonderful stylish and spacious coastal retreat right on the beach in Kingsdown. Many of the rooms have stunning sea views over the beach and distant horizon, and the garden and first floor balcony allow guests to truly enjoy the coastal setting. The large open plan kitchen and dining room is perfect for socialising, and the upstairs sitting room with access to the balcony is another lovely space. There are four bedrooms, one leading onto the balcony and another to a small sunny courtyard, and two bathrooms. The cottage is next to The Zetland Arms, a lovely, family friendly pub which also sits on the beach which serves food and is perfectly located if you fancy an aperitif or a break from cooking. And if you can drag yourself away from this idyllic setting, the vibrant town of Deal is a short drive, or a lovely beach walk, and in the other direction is a fabulous walk along the beach or along the iconic white chalk cliffs to St Margaret’s Bay and beyond so plenty of things to do, places to explore and history in which to immerse yourself.

We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed it. We flagged up a few things the kitchen could have done with but aside from that, we had everything we needed and Keepers Cottages were very friendly and efficient when we needed the recycling/rubbish removed.

Amazing location with stunning views of the Channel and easy access to the Zetland Arms. Very comfy and clean with spacious kitchen and lounge. Can highly recommend!

Beautiful property! Real decorated Christmas tree in living area was awesome and appreciated!Keepers Cottage answered my questions asap and were excellent to work with. Wonderful vacation!

What a wonderful place victory Cottage is to stay.Beautiful Home - delightfully furnished and decorated, so light ,airy and comfortable.Fantastic location right on the beach front with the most wonderful views. You will definitely come home feeling very relaxed and refreshed.Thank you for letting us share your home.

The house is newly built and thus shows practically no signs of wear. It is nicely furnished and the styling shows a love for details. The location right at the beachfront is spectacular especially the views from the large balcony. You will find any comfort you want with good Wi-Fi, worked flawlessly for zoom meetings. The bedrooms are a bit tighter than they appear on the photos and the wardrobes are somewhat limited when you stay for two weeks. The pub net door didn’t bother us much in the evenings but it is noisy in the morning when they empty out their glass and other trash from the night before very early in the morning.This happens right underneath the master bedroom window. Otherwise the pub is nice for a drink, the food is ok but nothing exceptional. For those who are into golf we can recommend the Walker and Kingsdown Golf Club. Great views and a course in excellent condition for a really fair price. Very friendly staff at the pro shop welcoming us.
