Emily is a great host and an excellent communicator. The house has a nice vibe and doesn't feel like a corporate flip to rental. There is a nice backyard to enjoy the day or evening in and The beds are VERY comfortable.

Yearly get together. Getting older and slower so just needed a nice quite place close to places to eat.

House is conveniently located, spacious, charming with a vintage feel - everything we and our dog needed. Fenced yard, well-appointed kitchen, pantry provisions, and updated fully stocked baths; very clean and quiet. Emily was a great host, answering all questions quickly and completely. Definitely would book again if back in the area.

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. House had everything you need on hand. Perfect spot off the beaten path but close to all the activities you want. The hosts Emily and Scott were great, very helpful and welcoming and great communication. Would 100% stay here again if we make our way back up to the area.

We loved the style of the house and all the daffodils!!!. It smelled so good all through the house. Everything was very clean. The grass could have been mowed, but with weird weather-it’s understandable. We loved the area and found its history interesting.

Real plants!
That was the first thing we noticed about this VRBO. We stayed at so many VRBOs through the years, but don't recall ever staying at one with DOZENS of live plants.
That tells you something about this place. It's not only beautiful (you should see the view out back), but live plants require a lot of TLC. In other words, Emily and Scott (the owners) must look in on the place often. Someone has to water those plants!
And that's the point: Not only is this home clean (the minimum that any VRBO guest should expect), it is loved by its owners down to the last detail. We marveled at the decor (along with the plants)!
So, if you're looking for a great place to stay in a great little town, this is it. But you'll get more: You'll get extra after extra after extra. It's obvious that this home is loved. You'll feel it, too, if you stay here.

This house was just perfect of our needs of visiting the Universuty of Cincinnati. Only a 15 drive door to door. The house was exactly as discribed. Emily and Scott were perfect hosts. The communication before and during our stay could not have been better. As an added bonus, our doges loved the back yard. We had the hardest time getting them back into the house as they just wanted to sit outside and watch the squrrrels from the fenced yard.

Emily was the best host ever! Her property was beautiful, clean and very homey feeling. Great fenced in back yard for our dog. Supple amenities plus extras that were not excepted, but definitely appreciated. Perfect location for what we were doing in the area. I would recommend this property in a heart beat and we will definitely be returning. Thanks Emily for the wonderful hospitality; sharing your home and the history with us. It was a pleasure meeting you.

The property was absolutely beautiful, charming and so comfortable for our stay. Kitchen and dining room were wonderful for cooking and enjoying our meals. Bathrooms were remodeled with high end fixtures, etc. Bedrooms were awesome too. Pictures are very true to the property. Being able to have our dogs in a fenced in area will bring us back to this property along with the excellent hosts who helped as much as we wanted and made us feel very welcomed. Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay was great and Emily went out of her way to give me some resources for my antique home. She was always quick to respond. The weather got cool, and the house was warm quickly with heat and the property was perfect for our two small dogs. When in the area again, we will definitely seek out this property.

This property is amazing! I would highly recommend this home and the hosts to anyone staying in Kentucky. The hosts were readily available for any needs at any time day or night.
We loved the beauty of the landscape and the homeyness of the surrounding neighborhood. Close to local eateries and only 40 minutes from The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.
Thank you for an amazing week!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was perfect for what we needed. The only thing is parking was limited. The owners were fantastic and helpful. I would love to rent again when I go back to see my brother and his family.

This house was a good rental for us, a toddler, a baby and our dog while we were in town visiting family. The fenced in back yard was a huge plus. The inside had everything we needed, was clean and we loved the plants.

Due to the passing of a family member, we had some scheduling challenges and Emily was Beyond Gracious working with us…We are forever grateful to her for this! Her and Scott’s charming, quiet, historical home was just the quietness and the setting we needed! We absolutely loved the “feels” of the home…all the modern updates, but the warmth of feeling like we were back at my grandparents home when growing up. We loved the fenced in back yard for our Goldendoodle and Emily even offered to let him out one day since our plans would have us gone longer than typical. The home was very clean and had spacious rooms! The A/C was very efficient. We had breakfast at Granny’s Every morning…If you go-You will not be disappointed! We recommend the Sunrise Donut shop a couple doors down also! Since our stay was shortened, we did not get to do all the events we desired…So we will be back and will definitely book with them again! Thank you again Emily and Scott-Both of you and your home were a delight!

The home was perfect for our visit to Cincinnati: great access to downtown Cincy for a Reds game and family events, and a quiet, peaceful place to rest. Quick access to grocery stores and Covington for fun places to eat. The house had plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed the lovely yard out back for breakfast on the patio. Emily is a super host; attentive and thoughtful. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay, the house was so nice and comfortable. Loved the fenced back yard for our little dog.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming craftsman style vintage two story house. The rooms are all generously sized and the original woodwork and vintage style furnishings really took us back to the time before every building was cheaply made and cookie cutter. With that charm comes a little funkiness but homeowner Emily has done a great job updating the fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, lighting, AC and yard. The location is a short drive from downtown Cincinnati, major NKY destinations, and tucked in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Highly recommend you consider a stay here. Emily is a great host and communicator and anticipated all of our needs. She has a lot to be proud of with this great house!

Our week in KY started out with a difficult situation, leaving my husband and I scrambling for a place to stay. We found Emily's house, had a couple texts back and forth and we booked it! I'm SO glad we did. The house, a 1904 colonial gem, is amazing, and huge! The leaded glass front door and side windows are beautiful. The house was very clean and every room is updated. Our bed was very comfy! The bedding linens were top of the line. The kitchen has everything you need, all brand new. The table and chairs outside was a nice area to relax and play some cards. There's also a new grill!
The location is great too. It's very convenient to get to any of the big attractions but its in a quiet neighborhood. In all, the house is a great place to stay if you are in the Covington area.
Emily and Scott are great people too. We enjoyed spending some time with them and their dogs! Emily is quick to respond and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, which, we did! This was an awesome trip and I'm so glad our 'home away from home' was at Emily's house!
