About this apartment rental
Kick back and relax and/or work your little heart our in this calm, stylish space. You don't even need to lift your head to see Volcan Agua from bed!
A 20 minute walk from parque central, this bright, spacious, airy apartment is tucked into the corner of the Candelaria neighborhood in Antigua so you can enjoy peace and quiet and the best views of the three volcanoes you can find anywhere in Antigua.
The kitchen is fully equipped with four table settings, and extra glassware to entertain a few friends. The fridge is stocked with breakfast basics a few beers and a bottle of wine.
It is located in a family-oriented neighborhood tucked into the corner of the Candelaria barrio in Antigua. In the afternoon you may hear kids playing and neighbors conversing, but after 9:00pm--silencio! The apartment is above our four studio apartments called Casa de Munecas. I'll be staying in one so I'll be available if you need anything. If you're looking for additional space for guests, The Dollhouse Apartments One and Two have double beds. You can search for those to see if they are available.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, stove, oven, microwave, and a toaster oven, as well as knives, measuring cups, utensils and all the oil, condiments and spices you could possibly need. There are four table settings and extra glassware if you want to entertain a few friends. The fridge is stocked with the basics for breakfast, as well as a bottle of wine and a few beers so if you arrive late you can enjoy a drink and relax and get up and prepare your own breakfast without having to go to the store.
Wake up to a view of volcan Agua--from your bed! The bedroom has a brand new, comfy yet firm, full size bed and a nice seating area where you can relax with a cup of tea and read a book. The closet area and another comfy chair and ottoman are upstairs in the loft.
The sofa bed in the living room folds out to not quite a double bed. It could sleep two kids or a very close couple, but realistically, just one person. There is a desk in the living room with WiFi access, of course. The TV is not connected to cable, but you can use my Netflix account or log in to any streaming apps you subscribe to. You'll have access to a washer and dryer downstairs at no charge.
There is no parking, but you can safely park your car a about an 8 minute walk away upon arrival for Q50 a night, and then leave it there--the walk to the center of town is only 20 minutes! If you are tired, you can walk to the basketball courts 8 minutes away, where you'll quickly find a tuk-tuk or grab a bus at the corner that will take you to the mercado. I have numbers for several tuk tuk drivers, or Uber works pretty well too.
If you've been looking for the perfect place to provide some serenity during your stay in Antigua, look no further.
The entire upstairs unit and the attached balcony is yours. You have your own laundry inside your apartment. The terrace on the roof is shared with other guests.
