This cottage was very cute and comfortable. Great location for exploring New River Gorge National Park.
If you arrive after dark pay close attention to the "street" it's not paved and has a large rut - it's easy to navigate around as long as you know to look for it.

We enjoyed our three night stay while visiting New River Gorge National Park. The house is brand new—very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed coming back from day of hiking or rafting to the quiet countryside just a 5 minute drive from the park. We would love to come back next year!

This VRBO is a true home away from home not far from the New River Gorge Bridge. It is clean and spacious. The setting is lovely. Kitchen and grill made it easy to relax and eat in. Communication with Brigitte was easy. Recommend and would revisit for sure.

Clean, new, 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, well equipped, comfortable beds, nice porch and deck. Not as secluded in the country as we expected. Would probably stay there again. Owner was nice and helpful.

There were a lot of things we liked about this house. All in all, it was very welcoming and we felt at home. The welcoming chocolates, a well-supplied kitchen, a comfortable bed, and excellent instructions for arrival and checkout, all gave us peace of mind. Although the owners lived nearby, we never felt that we were being watched or under scrutiny, and communication with them was friendly and immediate.
The deck was roomy and nice. We had a pleasant surprise when my husband, who likes to look at stars/constellations at night, walked out onto the deck and had a very clear sky with lots of stars!
Location was excellent with lots of outdoor activities nearby. Inside, the TV with its access to streaming services was very good. In sum, this rental was excellent!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Our host Brigitte answered all of our questions ahead of our arrival and made the check in and check out process very easy. We spent the majority of the week exploring New River Gorge National Park and this property was only a 10 minute drive to Canyon Rim Visitors Center at the north end of the park, but there’s lots more of the park to discover toward the south too. The house was very clean and spacious. There were only 2 of us who stayed here, but it would be comfortable for 3-4 people., also. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to sit on the beautiful deck, but it is a great space with several chairs, a picnic table and grill. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner and has a good sized table and 4 chairs. The city of Fayetteville has a cute downtown area and some great restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property.

Absolutely recommend choosing this rental if visiting New River Gorge National Park. Brand new and exceptionally clean. We came during the “off season” (November) but got a warm enough day that we could enjoy the deck. Beautiful front porch and back deck available. We did not use the fire pit or grill but so nice to have those options. Beautiful brand new kitchen that you can cook in. Nice to have washer / dryer available. Beds comfy. Host provided all the info needed before arrival and answered the one question I missed on her welcome sheet instantly.

A charming little house that was clean and comfortable. Lots of closets and a large amount of outlets to charge all our devices! Perfectly situated from Hawks Nest State Park and New River Gorge National Park. As well as easy access to many restaurants. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

This property is beautiful and just as pictured. We loved staying there and will definitely use this property again if we make it back to WV. The only reason I took off one star on property/location was because of the gravel access road was a bit tough to navigate otherwise 5 stars all around.

We had a wonderful stay! Home is clean, tastefully decorated, and cozy. We enjoyed watching the ducks, chickens, and the beautiful dog walk around the yard. The location to New River Gorge NP and local state parks is convenient. Definitely stay here if you are visiting the area!

Brigitte and Bodie have built a beautiful home that is the perfect escape for a weekend, a week, or even longer. It felt very much like a home away from home where we were able to relax, enjoy family, and make some delicious meals in the fully supplied kitchen. We spent as much time outside as possible, which was easy to do on the beautiful wrap-around porch complete with rocking chairs, picnic table, lounge chairs, and gas grill. Our activities were easy to get to from the house. We really couldn't have asked for a single thing. These hosts have thought of everything to make an enjoyable experience in this beautiful part of the country.
