We had a great stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and had tons of space! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were about 5 minutes from our rafting guides which was perfect. We’d love to stay again in the future.

This is a great house and fit our needs perfectly while everything was wonderful realistically my only complaint is the lighting to get into the property. Several members of my party arrived after dark and it was difficult finding the driveway, but that is the only issue everything else was wonderful.

We REALLY enjoyed this home. Location, location. Location! Home was very welcoming with room to spread out. I didn't have any younger kids in my group. But I can only imagine how much fun a young group of kids would have had upstairs in the attic bedroom.😁 well stocked with towels and lines and kitchen essentials. Mattresses could use some updating and a little attention to cleaning but i have a feeling that's on the cleaning service and no visitors telling them otherwise! We will DEFINATELY be coming back here if its Available our next visit to New River Gourge.

I loved the decor! Very cozy and fun. Host thought of everything possible and then some. Evening front porch sitting was perfect! The walk to dinner was minimal. Love this town!!

Perfect location to enjoy all the amenities of New River Gorge/bridge, within 5 min. to all. House located in town of Fayetteville, cute restaurants to enjoy, sidewalks roll up early though. Kitchen/house well stocked. Bedroom in attic, not really usable for people over 3 feet tall unless you hunch over. Other beds downstairs slept great. Would definitely stay again. Mexican restaurant directly across street is yummy.

Cozy Cottage was a perfect weekend getaway! My family and I loved hiking the New River Gorge. Cozy Cottage was such a great location within walking distance from shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Our host was incredibly helpful with everything and went above and beyond. We would definitely highly recommend!

We enjoyed the area, came back to a beautiful place...cooked great meals in a kitchen that had everything we needed. The fire pit was certainly a nonus. Parking and instructions to home was right on. Very convenient to all the attractions. The home suppied everything we could ask for. Comfortable bed, living area, TV and plenty of family fun games.

We enjoyed the convenient location with easy access to New River Gorge National Park. The house was comfortable, cozy and well stocked and the little downtown area was easily accessible offering a few local restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the cooly decorated, front porch. Hosts were super communicative and helpful.

We loved staying at the Cozy Cottage. It is in a great location to all sorts of outdoor activites and near downtown Fayetteville. It has so many cute, personal touches and is very comfortable. The host, Wendy, is friendly and easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay here again when I come bcak to the area

This place was Gorge-ous

The hosts were very easy to communicate with. The place was extremely close to New River Gorge NP and walking distance of downtown Fayetteville. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Water pressure in shower was awesome. We tend to cook our own food on vacation— the kitchen had appropriate stuff to get our meals cooked. Wi-Fi was okay. House was very cute and a great location for our activities.

We came to the area to hike and sightsee and we weren't disappointed. It is beautiful and the house is in a great location. The locals were nice. There are a few really good places to eat within walking distance, but they are open limited days and only serve breakfast and lunch. We really only used the house to sleep and get ready, but we did have nice evenings out on the front porch. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

Pre-arrival instructions were very helpful, especially detail about the fact that the driveway entrance is on a different street than the home's address. The house was spotless and the decor and extra touches made for a wonderful stay. I would just recommend that the house description provide a little more info and accuracy for the converted attic bedroom. The ceiling in the entire attic is no more than 5 feet high. As with any attic, it is much warmer up there than the rest of the house and while we didn't need to use it...no one in our party would have been happy to sleep up there with the warm weather we had. Also description says it has 3 twins, but there is actually a very nice queen size bed up there that would have been appealing if not for the heat. Lastly you have to walk through the bedroom with the one single bed to get into the attic. But overall still a 5-star rated house for me.

We had a great time with 5 guests here. Fayetteville is the perfect spot to climb, hike, and explore the outdoors and the Cozy Cottage gave us great access to all the major spots. Conveniently located walking distance from downtown Fayetteville, we were able to walk to dinner. We would all highly recommend as a place to stay.

My family and friends stayed for the Rim to River 100 mile race weekend. This is the perfect location! The house met all our needs. Multiple sleeping arrangements and everything we needed was there. This is a beautiful part of the country and this house was perfect! Thanks, hope to see you next year!

The location is great! Close to nearby attractions/restaurants and right in town within walking distance of shopping. The home was comfortable and cozy. We loved Yardzee and spent evenings together playing games/cards after our busy days. Highly recommend!

The Best 50th birthday celebration

The Best 50th birthday celebration

We were looking for a place that was close to downtown Fayetteville, hiking and the whitewater location, this was the perfect place! The cottage was so cozy for the 6 of us that stayed to celebrate two 50th birthdays we enjoyed being able to walk to the restaurants that were close by. We were very lucky to be there during the town’s Fourth of July celebration. There was live music, food, a parade and even frog jumping contest. During our stay we also did an all day whitewater trip, so amazing! We were about 10 minutes away from where we had to check in( we used Ace adventure- they were great). Our last day before we left we hiked Fern Creek trail… there were breathtaking views of the gauley below and the bridge. We loved all the special touches in the cottage - plenty of towels, laundry- we need it! Wendy was also very responsive as well when we reached out! We also loved sitting on the front porch and even used the on-site fire pit! Great place, we will be back again!
