Stayed there several times for fishing trips. Beds are very comfortable and the pergola outside is great for evenings. This is our go to place when we are in the area

In the area for a weekend wedding. Very relaxing, perfect for my wife and myself.

The property was located in a very sketchy area and the lake was no where oil site so I have no idea how close it was. I never saw a dock. The house was clean and decent but not very nice. Definitely misrepresented in listing.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Lake house. The sofas and beds are very comfy and the decor sets a relaxing mood. There are a few things that could use some tweaking, like the bedroom door, maybe a larger shower curtain and some attention to the deck. However, over all our stay was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend and also plan on visiting again

Myself, husband and 4 kids. 3 days, 2 nights. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing, beautiful, not too far from everything, but not in the city for sure. Not exactly on the lake, but has a boat ramp included. We all loved it! Bath tub was a big plus! My only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer.

This property is near mammoth caves and we used it as a base to stay in while visiting the park. This double-wide mobile home was nice and clean and in a good location. Absolutely no complaints and good price for a group. The kitchen is a little small so if you are planning to cook for a group keep that in mind. There is also no shower so if you are hiking and getting dirty you will be cleaning in a tub. Neither were major issues and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean comfortable stay in Cub Run area.

Everything that the website said was there was there.. the place was clean and the manager/owner was very nice and respectful..I would recommend this place for a nice peaceful getaway

Location was great with boat ramp very close. Second week of a fishing trip with friends. Improvements were made from the week before when we stayed there. Could use a coffee pot rather than a Kcup but we had one. Beds comfortable and place was very clean. Thanks TJ and Ryan.

The use of space is great. The beds and a/c were great. The smaller bed is more for a young person/kid but everyone had their privacy. A bigger kitchen sink would be great as well as a bar to help get in and out of the shower but overall nice place to stay. We could park two trucks with jon boats in the driveway and the ramp is just at the end of the road about 1/4 mile away. The pergola was the gathering place in the evening for drinks and a fire in the fire pit. Since we split a lot of wood for the winter we brought our own and enjoyed a fire every night. Full size refrigerator was great and even had ice cube trays filled. Atmosphere was perfect.

The inside was very clean and nicely decorated but outside had a bit trashy look w tree down and lots of wood from outside projects just laying around.

We had a great time and the home was super cute and centrally located. We loved our time there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the property. It was a nice option for us to stay the night before hiking Mammoth Cave as part of a multi-city spring break. Comfy beds, nice amenities, immaculate, great location, and affordable.

This place was very cozy to stay in. Made you feel at home as soon as you walked in. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, clean and cozy. Quiet area. It had everything we needed.
The drive is steep and limited parking.
We enjoyed our stay.

We just did a quick one night stay and this place was great for that. It was very clean and well taken care of. The property manager was very quick to respond when I had a question. My one, and small, complaint was the bathing situation. It had a standing tub but there was no curtain or anything to keep water from getting all over the floor so we had to squat/sit to wash ourselves and that’s the reason I gave 4/5 stars. Otherwise, we had a very nice time.

We loved our stay here. The host was timely and helpful when we had questions. The neighborhood is safe and we had everything we needed for our stay. Absolutely love the aesthetic and decor. It looks like they are still putting some finishing touches on the interior and the other rental on the lot is very close to the house. But we had a great neighbor and even met friendly people in the neighborhood. We’d come back for sure!

The VRBO was very quaint, clean and enjoyable. We had a hard time initially finding the property in the dark and was assisted by a friendly neighbor who was familiar with the property. We tried calling the owner a few times and weren’t able to get in touch and weren’t reached back out to. Nevertheless, we had a great stay. The check in process was explained very well and was seamless. The property was in a great state and was well equipped except for not having a stove/oven. Also do not use the microwave, toaster oven and hot plate all at the same time. We accidentally tripped the breaker and we’re not able to find it to turn back on. We appreciated all of the extra cookware though as well as the fun decorations and amenities that came with the property, all for a great price. Finally the location is great. The neighborhood is very safe and you’re close to several parks, attractions and restaurants. Overall we’d rate it a 4/5 for the convenience, affordability and value as pros, communication/no oven/stove as cons. Thank you!

Perfect cottage with all the amenities! The bath tub was amazing after a day of kayaking Nolin. (We put them in at Dog Creek. Paddle to the left. 😉) grabbed a home made sandwich at the little red gas station past wax marina. We also enjoyed the fire pit, and star gazing.

Beautiful cottege with almost everything one would need during the stay. The cottage is clean and nicely decorated; we had a wonderful time outside making smores. Some things we would want to have for our next stay: a broom or a mop, an iron and an ironing board. Other than that, it is a perfect place to relax.

The one thing that I particularly didn't like was it's not really private because there's another rental beside you that shares firepit and Pergola. This unit has no oven/stove, so the grill is critical for cooking, however the other unit had taken it to there deck. I asked the owner if the grill was supposed to be at my rental and he said yes, but its very awkward going and invading ones privacy to take a grill that they had intentions of using. All said, if the owner secures/locks the grill to that units area, problem solved. The inside was clean and pleasant, the outside was not, left over construction materials left laying around, needed cleaned up. Little TLC and would be a whole lot more inviting. Bottom line I would stay here again, just would like to see outside spruced up.

My family of five had a great time staying in this home. It was clean and had the basics we needed. The little extras (games, coloring pages, etc.) were nice. The owner was responsive when we had questions and felt very welcoming. We would love to stay again.

Perfect little cabin for family of 6! Only 2 complaints: 1) There was some left over construction materials left lying on the ground around the property and some kind of blue paint on the floor that stained our socks.

We absolutely loved it! It was super neat and clean, had everything you need and a tub to die for! Quiet, peaceful and cute as can be! Maybe the coolest ac I’ve ever experienced! I would recommend 110%!

Property connected to another property and shares the fire pit and outdoor sitting area which is not disclosed online. Code and key works to both properties which meant both properties are accessible by the other renter which is terrifying.
Batteries dead in remotes so couldn’t watch TV.
Cat urine smell.
Owner entered connected property in middle of the night and was sawing the wooden stairway at 2 am and dragged something through gravel drive waking up family

Place is very nice. Clearly newly renovated. Nice living room area and bed rooms. Not many kitchen utilities and things to sit with, but made it work. A very nice house about an hour away from the mammoth cave visitor center. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for an affordable place to stay.

Wonderful place for us to stay over our memorial day weekend.
