The staff are BRILLIANT!
Happiness on the Reception was unbelievably excellent. Quite honestly, she should be the Camp Manager. Personable, efficient and charming! She arranged and sorted everything for us with great aplomb, including game drives, taxi transfers and train tickets.
Dennis in the bar also has great potential and he's a charming young man.
The actual location is delightful.
The place is A BUDGET CAMP. However, it requires investment. The owner LILIAN WELTER needs to spend some money. We appreciate that post-COVID, money is tight.
The rooms are tired
Our Landrover was dilapidated and every time we stopped, it needed to be push started. It was replaced at midday.
The nearest gate is 15 minutes away and not 7 ft as in the particulars...more like 7.00kms. The game drive was meant to start at 07.00am, it didn't due to vehicle issues. I would recommend leaving at 06.30am or even earlier.
The swimming pool, which we were looking forward to using was closed. It looked disused.
Sadly the whole place looked tired and unloved. It could be hugely improved without too much investment. It requires strong management and some love!
We appreciate money might be tight, but managing it from Germany isn't working.

I like the shape of the tents . very cute and futuristic though resembling elephants. very nice and clean sheets. they offer delicious dinner
very tough road to get to. the toilet had these small pebbles in it as a decoration but they got inside put slippers and was. very annoying and uncomfortable to walk around.
when I booked it didn’t say that there are no other food options around and they should put on website that they offer full board and the price so people are aware of what to expect

I liked the authentic bush camp experience, good tasty food, small but refreshing swimming pool, and comfortable beds. Good value for money too. The kitchen provided a takeaway breakfast for our party at our request, and allowed us to come back late from a game drive in Amboseli NP on one day, and still have a full breakfast.
The buffet meals usually had too little food available for the guests, so we had to repeatedly ask the kitchen to top up food (which they did) so there was enough to go round. The showers were low pressure, and warm only if they were run for a long time (maybe 15 minutes). So that wasted water. The Internet was a bit hit and miss. Room design was a bit odd, and we moved room from King Lion to Tiger, to get a better sized bathroom and more space.

Nothing
It was an improvization, not a hotel.. no hot wather , no light after 20:00 worst accomodation in our life

Perfect location to visit Amboseli park. 15 min drive to Iremito Gate. Nice and very helpful staff. They allowed us to use their kitchen to cook our meal. It was an experience to have cold shower in outdoor bath with the great view to Kilimanjaro in the morning.
Very basic realization of idea of glamping in savanna. Very cheap materials. My opinion it is not good value for the price. Though I understand that probably to keep this autonomous place is very costly.

Food, staff and location all great! Views Mt Killi. A really unique place.
Some appliances were falling apart a little, but all easily fixable and to be expected considering it's remote location.
