About this apartment rental
If you're looking for a quiet break from the hustle and bustle of life, High Tide is the perfect stay. It's situated on a private road, on the edge of a beautiful village right on the UNESCO coast.
High Tide is a newly-build property consisting of 2 flats. They can be hired individually or as a house sleeping 12. It is of a modern design with beautiful corner glazing and this ground floor flat has exclusive use of the patio and garden. We've lots of really stunning walks straight from the door and Woolacombe beach is within easy reach.
We've designed the interior to have a fresh and design-lead feel but always with comfort and ease front of mind. You can enjoy a lovey cuppa on the sofa watching the waves or planning your next surfing trip. Our Smart TV is logged into Netflix and Amazon and you can stream music from our bluetooth speaker. Our internet isn't bad for the middle of nowhere.
Our entrance area has tessellated tiling and an oak staircase. The door to flat 2 leads you straight into the living area.
The living area has three sofas and sliding doors straight onto the patio. There are lovely views over the garden and out to sea.
The kitchen/dining area seats 6 and we're well-equipped for home cooking if that's your thing. We have granite worktops and mood lighting to ensure you can relax after you've finished cooking. Our hob is induction and our ovens are at an easy height. We've got a dishwasher and coffee machine. You have your own washer/dryer if you need one.
The master bedroom is my favourite - the views of the garden and a glimpse of the sea are a relaxing start to the day. You can also get straight out onto the patio through sliding doors. The ensuite has a double-width shower with both a rainfall shower head and separate shower wand.
The double room also has a lovely garden and sea view which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your bed.
The twin room can be changed into a double if you request at the time of booking. The continuous headboard gives comfort in either configuration.
The twin room shares and double room are situated either side of the family bathroom. so no long walks in the night. The family bathroom also has a rainfall shower and separate shower wand for washing the kids' hair.
Coronavirus is a huge concern to us and we're taking many precautions in servicing the flat before you arrive. In addition to thorough cleaning we are disinfecting all handles/high touch areas and also spraying a fine mist of coronovirus-killing disinfecting solution around the flat. This includes over soft furnishings. All bedding and towels are washed at high temperature and the contents of the kitchen cupboards are put through the dishwasher between guests.
Some items cannot be disinfected between guests, and so we've had to remove all books, games, toys, dvds, maps and leaflets during the pandemic. If you would prefer to bring your own linen we can offer a small discount. The cleaning cupboard (vacuum cleaner/iron/ironing board) is shared between the flats and the entrance area can be accessed by the other flat too. During the pandemic we have asked the lower flat not to use it for entry, but we cannot block access due to fire regulations and so this is voluntary.
