This property is great if you want to unplug and get away from technology. No Wi-fi or cell phone coverage at the property. Overall very relaxing. The mattresses on most the beds are very old and need to be replaced. The carpeting did not feel or look clean. Carpeting also needs replaced. Would still recommend for a way to get away from it all.

Exactly as described. Super easy communications with the landlord, appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful area. The house could use a bit of TLC outside. The house itself was fine. Just a little more attention would be a great improvement.
We loved Marble.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly what we needed. Just FYI's for others. The driveway out front is a single very narrow drive that goes up a steep hill. Not much room for larger vehicles. There is a parking spot beside the house where two trucks can fit. There is no room for trailers if you are SXS or ATV users. We unloaded at the house and left our trailers at the parking across from the Firehouse.
The walk through "breezeway" allowed us to sit outside rain or shine, and was great. We had a neighborhood fox that we saw several times in the yard, and we also had a neighborhood dog that was at the house everyday. Overall the house is a little small for bigger groups, and it is an older place just like 95% of the cabins/houses in the area. Do not let that turn you away from renting. The only slight downfall was that it was pretty hot in the upstairs bedrooms during the night. There are plenty of provided fans in the house to help with this though. We had a good time!

This property is obviously a well-loved family home, in a beautiful and culturally interesting location.
BUT (and this is a big but!) there was no means of communication whatsoever. The owners provided their phone numbers in case of a house emergency, but with no cell service in the entire valley and no wifi except at a cafe down the road, it was very uncomfortable. They did not even have a land line for 911 calls! I was there with my 80 year old mother; what if there had been a medical emergency? Heck, what if the electricity was out or the plumbing acted up or the house was ransacked when we arrived? I drove out 45 minutes to get one bar of cell service to ask the owner whether there was a land line, didn’t receive a reply until I was an hour out of town the next day.
Minor gripes: no screens on the windows so no fresh air at night with the bugs. Had to rummage through cabinets looking for a spare roll of TP. The world’s slowest coffee maker.
Clearly these are nice people who love their family home and haven’t thought through what it looks like to have a good weekend rental property. These issues are easily fixed.

We are all over 60 and had a wonderful time. It was just what we needed, no cell signal anywhere. We watched some movies, cooked great breakfasts, made salads and sandwiches for lunch and went to Slow Groovin BBQ that you could smell cooking at 8 am for dinner. We walked around the town and looked at all of the cute houses and the beautiful mountains that are in every directions. Everywhere you looked it was breathtaking. It was apricot season so we made 2 cases of jam.
