The location of this rental made it perfect for exploring the city on foot. That alone made any additional cost we may have saved at a less ideal location. But, coming from a bed snob, the luxurious mattress and linens really put this charmer over the top! The amount of space was perfect for our group of 7 and the living room made for a perfect dance floor for our Just Dance game we brought! The overall decor and vibe of the place was so charming & added the best touches to our Bachelorette weekend! 10/10 would stay here again!”

Beautiful place right in the heart of the Market area. Never grabbed the car. Walked all over. Loved the stay!

We had a great week in Charleston and made the most of the locations proximity to all of the city attractions.

Home is beautiful and has a lot of character! The location was right next door to a really good restaurant (SNOB) and to a pizza restaurant that was also good! We were a group of 11 ladies and were able to walk everywhere downtown that we wanted to go from this house. Most of the bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom. It is three stories so you need to be sure that no one would have a problem with the stairs. The host could not have been anymore responsive. :) Overall, a very nice home in a great location! Highly recommend!!

We loved the location and was perfect for our large group of moms and daughters

We made The East Bay Home our “home” for our annual cousin/aunt weekend.
We all live in different areas of the country and enjoy when we can all be together.
The East Bay Home was exactly as expected. Clean and comfortable on every level, room, and bathroom.
The location was in the heart of Charleston. We were able to walk to absolutely everything.
The host had thought of every detail to make our stay more comfortable, also responsive and helpful.
We look forward to coming back!

We were looking for a location close to some of our favorite restaurants and centrally located to historic area. This place is perfect for us.

Great location and layout was perfect for friends stay. Parking is a but challenging when loadingvand unloading your vehicle. Thermostat settings are challenging too but overallca great stay. We'd go back!

The place worked great as a home base for our guys weekend, being able to walk everywhere within downtown Charleston for restaurants, bars and even pickleball!
5.0
The location and cleanliness is second to none. 5 minute walk to the Market, 10 min to King St. and 10 minutes to the Battery.
Very safe and even though it’s in a busy part of town you don’t notice any noise.
Only complaint would be the A/C having difficulty to keep up during the peak of the summer. Top and bottom floors were great but the middle floor would take a while to cool down in the evenings.
All that being said, we would definitely stay there again.

Great location, easy check in and good communication. However, the AC unit does not adequately operate. This is not coming from someone who isn’t used to coastal SC heat - I live in Beaufort, SC. The coldest the inside temperature at this loft got was at 230am (we couldn’t sleep because of the humidity) and it was 77.
I would not recommend staying here unless the outside High temperature is below 72. One of my colleagues commented that staying here felt like camping outside in a swamp.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here. This is the first VRBO review I’ve ever left - that’s how strongly I feel about it.

Amazing location! Very clean

The entire experience was wonderful. The place is beautiful and location was great.Check in was so easy and being able to check in early was a huge plus as we came in from Florida early. The only issue of the entire experience was one of the trendile beds sheets had a stain Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of it. We were gonna just change sheets and all the cabinets on third floor were empty.. So we decided to wash them and the dryer really wouldn’t dry them. We did eventually find sheets in a garbage bag on second floor cabinets under sink.. other then that the whole experience was wonderful.. Thanks for a great place to stay for my 50th Birthday.

Very nice property and perfect layout for our family, three couples and a child. We stayed during a cold snap, 19 degrees one day so the weather did not cooperate. We all enjoyed the family room/kitchen open space and can highly recommend. Walked to all of downtown, aquarium, the Battery, restaurants.

Good rental experience. Property is beautiful and located right above a nice pizza place in the bustling French Quarter. The central atrium is beautiful and the lower level living area great to hang out. Guests should be aware that there are a lot of stairs and the sound of an old building and downtown are present. There are noise devices in the second floor suites. The third floor bedroom has the most noise and there is no bathroom in that room. The bathroom is in the room with the small bed. So, guests on the third floor bedrooms must share one small bathroom. Overall, a great spot for being in the middle of the French quarter.

This was an amazing location that really can’t be beat. The property itself lacks space to relax as a group. We were a group of 7 women and we could not all sit comfortably in the same room to hang out in the evenings. We also wish we would have known one of the beds is a trundle style mattress on the floor and there were no blankets available for it. The property also lacks a common space bathroom which is tough for the bedroom with no access to a toilet at night. But again the location was perfect.
5.0
Great location. Beds are too soft, but otherwise well equipped. Elevator was not working and unit entrance is on 3rd floor. Unit itself has three floors, so you need to be comfortable with climbing stairs.
5.0
The house had so much character, we enjoyed the whole experience except maybe the water pressure was low though to be expected in a historical location.

Super cool, luxurious property in an amazing location. Customer service (Seth!) went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend!

We were in Charleston for meetings and loved our stay here. Was a wonderful place and convenient to our meetings along with restaurants and entertainment. Would love to stay here again.

We stayed here for a 50th birthday celebration with ten girls. The property looks exactly like the photos and is a perfect for a big group. We all felt spaced out and like we had our own space. The location is perfect for doing and seeing everything Charleston has to offer.

This property is fantastic! My family and I stayed here in the summer of 2021, and we loved every minute of it. There is a ton of space. The living area is gorgeous; the pictures are very accurate. The location is amazing. You are right in the heart of tons of restaurants and you are very near to the water. You are within easy walking distance of all of downtown Charleston. I cannot think of a better place to be! The communication between myself and the owners was easy. They answered any questions quickly and completely. I would love to stay here again, and I hope that I do someday!

Location was amazing and the property was spotless and in great shape. Beds very comfortable.
Only complaint is that A/C on upper floors doesn’t quite keep up with the Charleston heat. Property comes supplied lots of fans which helped.
2.5
Nice property in a great location. Encountered minor problem with parking, but ultimately worked out properly. Recommend.

The location of this three-story townhome is perfect. So close to shops and restaurants! Unless you have excursions planned (as we did), you can park your car and not have to leave the garage. However......
As we checked in - right at 4 - cleaning staff was still there due to the prior renters not leaving when they were supposed to. We were face to face with somewhat rude staff telling us to come back in two hours. We called Stay Duvet who did provide us with an apology and a small gift for our inconvenience. Upon return, the rooms had been cleaned, but not well.
The rooms are very nice and well appointed, however don't go by the pictures and expect bottles of wine or water! They are not provided. Also, the middle drawer in the three-drawer dresser in the front bedroom was broken making all three drawers unusable. There was no offer of replacement during our trip which made it a bit of a challenge living out of a suitcase.
The parking situation was difficult in that the attendant stated the key card was already in use and we were forced to take a ticket. Stay Duvet did soon answer our questions about that and we were able to use the card to get out, thereby cancelling out the ticket.
The kitchen was lovely but the icemaker on the refrigerator did not/does not work! As warmer weather approaches, I think your guests will appreciate having ice.
The entry to the building is not cleaned at all so don't be surprised if you see the same empty cups, naps, etc. throughout your stay. Also, the building is unlocked during the work week, so be sure to lock the townhomes doors! Not the fault of the owner or Stay Duvet, I'm sure, but something to be aware of.
Very much appreciated the washer/dryer and dishwasher. The bathrooms were very nice and the furniture in the living area comfortable. Stay Duvet personnel were very solicitous when we called and the attention was appreciated. My criticism of the rental may seem to be a bit critical, but the cost of this townhome had our expectations high - not unreasonably so - and certain items should have been taken care of before they had a chance to be a problem or rectified upon receiving notice.
One quick note to Stay Duvet - there needs to be a significant penalty for renters not exiting the home by checkout time. The penalty that you have is not enough to ensure the 11 a.m. time is adhered to and that caused major disappointment upon our arrival.

My gfs rented the French Quarter for a bachelorette trip in March 2021 and we could not have been happier with our decision! The loft is decorated so chic and trendy and the house is very clean and well kept, just as the pictures suggest! It also comes with Sonos and an ipad to play music in the main living room area. We immediately felt at home and relaxed. Location is perfect for Downtown Charleston. Firstly it is safe and in a popular area with a lot of foot traffic during the day / night. It is very close to the water, minutes away from Rainbow Row as well as so many other great restaurants (i.e. SNOB, High Cotton). It is about a ~20 minute WALK to King Street, 10 minute walk to the Market and Henry's (awesome bar / restaurant!) but Ubers are always available. The communication with the Landlord was the best I have ever experienced and the whole Duvet Stay team was super accommodating. If I had a question, I had the answer texted to me in minutes! There were only 2 downsides... 1. there is no common bathroom; every bathroom is in a bedroom. This was an inconvenience for those sleeping on the couch in the living room. And 2, there is no full size mirror. Girls need a full size mirror! (hint hint) However, we made due and I would DEFINITELY stay again!!!!!! In fact, I am planning on it again next year. Thank you so much, French Quarter for making our stay amazing. You are cute!

Truly a remarkable place to stay and the location can’t be beat. We will most certainly return amd stay here on our next trip.

This is a beautiful flat with great amenities! Also, the most comfortable beds! The location is right in the heart of the French Quarter so you can walk to the best attractions and restaurants in all of Charleston. Great place to stay, exactly as advertised.

We came for a bachelorette party and it was the perfect location with lots of options in walking distance. The property was clean and modern. They fixed a bathroom outlet day of reporting and everything else was great! Loved this place.
2.5
Beautiful property in great location. Everything about this was first class. Loved it. Would stay again.

It's even better than the pictures! It's a perfect getaway spot in historic Charleston. Very secure with a responsive management group.

The smell of sewer came from the kitchen sink at night, every night. Reported it to management but they just came and sprayed something that went away shortly after. Coffee pot had mold in it. Reported that and got a new coffee pot. Great location to everything. Pictures were deceiving in it actually is a lot smaller than the photos.

Fun location; easy to experience everything Charleston has to offer.

Insane location in downtown Charleston.

This unit has a very unique style. The multi level floor layout provided a spacious atmosphere for our family. It was very clean, beds / linens were extremely comfortable, and It was stocked with everything we needed. The host provides a variety of coffees and laundry detergent; which were very convenient. I would definitely return and recommend this to others.

Very Stylish Property. A lot of care and imagination created an impressive VRBO in downtown Charleston. Mike, the property manager, was extremely helpful. He even supplied us with a pack and play for our baby. Thanks Mike!

We were luck enough to stay here on our recent visit to Charleston. Owner was super accessable and accomodating. The home had very high end finishing, great technology (ipad controls, sonos speakers etc) and the interior design was beautiful. Location cant be beat in the French Quarter. Awesome restaurants on every corner and a short walk to the Battery as well as Upper King. We enjoyed our stay!
5.0
When we initially looked at this property online, it looked a little too good to be true, especially since it didn't have any reviews yet. Boy were we surprised to find the home was every bit as beautiful in person!
The place is meticulously designed and everything in it serves a convenient, strategic, or artistic purpose. It is a truly magnificent property.
It was extremely clean with the most comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, super soft linens, heavy blankets and comforters, new towels, even the toiletries were top notch. And, again, it was so clean. Our whole group was impressed with the cleanliness and presentation of the space.
The location could not have been better. It's right in the middle of downtown...literally on top of some of the best restaurants in town, yet somehow secluded and peaceful. It's a close walk to the city market, waterfront park, the battery, and many other historic sites.
3 floors of beautifully remodeled living space made for a perfect vacation with a large group where we could socialize on the main floor and sleep or spend quiet time reading, napping, watching tv, etc. on the other 2 floors above.
The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to execute a perfect dinner; there are 2 brand-new full-size refrigerators with water filters and ice-makers, a mini-fridge on the top floor and a wine cooler on the bottom floor. They even had a roasting pan, casserole dish and measuring cups! The large set of wine glasses was plentiful for our group of 10 plus friends, and they got plenty of use as we enjoyed our time together around the large wood bar in the common area.
Mike was great to work with and he was very responsive when we had questions or sought recommendations. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We all highly recommend this property, and we can't wait to come back next time we visit Charleston. Thank you!
