This is a newly renovated historic New Orleans house with original hardwood floors throughout, hotel quality beds and bedding, and every amenity. Walk out of your front door into the hottest nightlife hub of New Orleans! Bars, clubs and food joints are only steps away!
Guest Access:
The house has key-less entry and you will have access to the entire house. All three of the bedrooms are independent. The 1st full bath is attached to the back bedroom and the 2nd full bathroom can be accessed from anywhere in the house.
The Neighborhood:
The house is a 7-minute walk from the live-music paradise of Frenchmen Street, and less than a 10-minute walk to the French Quarter and the Mississippi River.
The house is located on St. Claude Ave., which has a vibrant night life popular with locals. While street parking is generally available, there is a fair amount of street traffic and the block is primarily commercial. For example, the Hi-Ho Lounge is one house over and has nightly live-music, comedy, and dance parties. Kajun's Pub 24-hour karaoke bar is across the street. The AllWays Lounge & Cabaret is also across the street with drag shows and local theatrical productions. Carnaval, a block away, has daily live music and a great Eastern European restaurant.
The brand new Robért Fresh Market (grocery store) has everything you could need and is literally a one-minute walk.
Other great spots within 2 blocks:
• St. Roch Market (upscale food court with 20 amazing food vendors);
• New Orleans Boulder Lounge (climbing gym);
• New Orleans Healing Center (Yoga and similar classes);
• Gene's Po-Boys and Daiquiris
• Arabella Casa Di Pasta (casual pasta restaurant);
• Kebab (gyros and fries);
• Fry and Pie (complex cheese fries);
• Fair Grinds Coffee, Who Dat Coffee Cafe, and PJ's Coffee;
• Freezy Street Rolled Ice Cream;
• And much more!
Getting Around:
The new St. Claude Avenue streetcar line is a block away and will take you anywhere in the city in style, including Downtown, the Garden District, Jazz Fest, City Park, the French Quarter, Uptown, Audubon Park & Zoo, and more. You can truly walk to almost all of the destinations from the house, but Uber/Lyft is also an easy option if you want to venture out of the neighborhood.
Other Things to Note:
Located in the hottest nightlife hub of New Orleans, this house is ideal for guests coming to enjoy the nightlife of NOLA with great people watching and experiencing the hum of the city life.

Owners made everything easy and communicated with us very well. Close to everything we wanted to see and Uber was very affordable when we wanted to get around quickly. Very happy with the place.

5 ladies from all over the country came in to celebrate a bday and do NOLA proper! The hosts are very responsive and the place is perfectly spacious for a bunch of girls looking to have fun. The area may seem a little dodgy from all the graffiti, even on trash cans out front, with some interesting locals wondering about all hours (and may be even be eating late dinners on your entry steps at 1am from all the food truck parked in front of your doorway when you come home late) and the music of the night club Hi-Ho, literally next door doesn't die down til 2am, (so bring your earplugs).... but we felt safe and secure inside the unit. Just be aware it is a LOUD PARTY scene until late into the morning. It's comfortable, homey, and a fun neighborhood that's up and coming with drag/burlesque show on the other corner and yuppie food hall down the street. Quick Uber unto the quarter makes it an easy place to launch any adventure.... Just be prepared for the extra character beyond the home itself! We girls rolled with it. Made friends with the food truck owner and felt at home. We would stay again and recommend to anyone with a sense of 'adventure' AND ear plugs lol.

This property was close to the French Quarter and had plenty of room to accommodate a family with three basically adult children. Proximity to night life and grocery was perfect. Most of nightlife in immediate vicinity was 21 and up but walking distance to restaurants with great jazz music that the teens enjoyed (Maison). Enjoyed the late night eats at Liberation taco around the corner. Would stay here again.

Great stay with friends, and about 15 minutes walk to the east side of Bourbon Street. Good bars nearby, and a superb coffee / breakfast shop 2 blocks away.
There were 2 negatives, which didn’t ruin our experience:
1. The bathroom in the middle of the property didn’t produce hot water during our entire 3 day stay. This needs to be fixed for future guests
2. The bed in the middle bedroom has a slant to it.
Otherwise, awesome.

It was a nice clean 3 bedroom duplex with a nice private backyard. Very close to local bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay again if we are back in New Orleans!

House as advertised and is well located if hanging out in Marigny/Frenchmen area. Nice market and coffee shop nearby.

Location was good, but neighborhood seemed a little rough. No issues, though.
