The grounds were beautiful, me and my family enjoyed walking around the premises taking in all of the nature! The rooms were lovely and nice touch with the biscuits and bottled water.
The shower pressure was very poor but temperature was great so that made up for it a little.

Easy to park, fabulous grounds with a welcoming entrance. Although extensively refurbished there are still features of the old Quorn Grange I remember for working there 30 years ago. The bedroom was large and contained a massive comfortable bed(slept so well). There was a bath too and the nice touch of guest toiletries on the side. Tea coffee and hot chocolate on the side ready to be made. Had the weather been better I’d have enjoyed the double doors which do open on to the car park but still very leafy. The breakfast was basic but nothing was missed. The offer of a freshly cooked breakfast was given but I opted for the buffet continental instead. The restaurant itself formed of the original bar area and part of the original restaurant was light and airy and well laid out. It was a pleasure to stay and I will be visiting again.
As with every older building there were signs of wear and tear but I’d be super critical to complain about that. I did feel like it was a shame it was so quiet. Hardly a guest in the place. I wonder if there is a trick being missed somewhere.

For the first two days everything went well and the food was very good and well presented.
at breakfast on day three some of the food ran out and not replaced quickly enough.
On the last evening the food situation was not at all acceptable. When asked what the soup was, I was told one thing then told there was no soup. Two of the four main courses were "off". When asked what drink I would like, I asked for what I had the previous night ( a glass of Merlot ) only to be told that there was no Merlot! My wife and I walked out in disgust and went a few hundred yard down the road to a very obliging Pub which served a wide range of meals.

Room was on the ground floor as we took with us 2 dogs and the french windows were perfect to get outside without taking them through the hotel.
Room could have been better lit.

Spacious clean rooms. Reception staff nice.
Very basic breakfast. Lack of staff in restaurant.
No tv remote in the room and despite 3 phone calls was then informed there weren’t any spare so couldn’t use the tv.

Great location lovely grounds
Service not as good as when I have stayed previously. Booked and confirmed reservation for 2 garden view rooms, put into car park view rooms and unable to move us.

The room was large and comfortable, with an excellent bathroom. Due to weather conditions, we decided to eat in the evening at the Hotel. The bar food we ordered (2 different choices) was first class and the service was again excellent.
The staff were very polite and professional.
Breakfast again was very good.
Nothing that I can think of.

The food was good. Both breakfast and evening meal. The room was quite basic but adequate. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly.
I wasn't over keen on the Trade Union propaganda corner. I later found out that the hotel is owned by a trade union. Interesting.

location and staff plus bed
Noisy extractor fan outside window made it not possible to open windows

good location
very dated and the staff were miserable

The room and venue were lovely, spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing.
The two things that detracted were that the bed was far too soft and I woke up with a bad back. And the second was that I tried for an hour to speak to a member of staff on the phone to order food and never got hold of anyone, so didn't eat before I went out to my event.

Fantastic family room that our two girls went in .. one 21 and the other 14 so one room but two bedrooms so fantastic.. me and the Husband went in the, was booked as a double but was two twin beds garden type room. And again really nice and we slept great in the twin beds so didn't mind... Our girls wouldn't give up the suit once they'd got there first! Lol 😂.... Had food in the bar area and that was Okay and well priced, staff really helpful. The garden areas are stunning, We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again if we find ourselves in the area again.

Lovely looking property in good location
Wi-Fi signal was not strong so had to tether from own phone which also had weak signal.
Watermarks on room wall and ceilings in dining room were a shame to see.
Unable to get hot water for a bath at 9:30 which just ran warm so did not use.
Hot breakfast choice was limited, would have been nice to have scrambled egg/hash browns as options.

Nice rural setting to walk dog. Breakfast better than average. Evening meal was really nice. Room had french doors which meant I didn't have to walk the dog through the hotel all the time.
Although the evening meal was very nice. I thought it was quite expensive. Also £15 extra for a Jack Russell Terrier. We've stayed in other hotels around Loughborough as our boy goes to the college. The maximum I've ever been charged is £10.

Room was well appointed and warm. Corridors well lit. Breakfast was very good value for money. Décor clean and tidy.
Generally a very good hotel.
The room could have done with a bright light over a mirror for shaving etc.
3.9
A good size TV that actually works
More tea and coffee options
Water in the room

Excellent hotel, very clean, friendly staff and comfortable room. Near to centre of village which has a large car park or is walkable if the weather good.
3.9
The room itself was quite comfortable.
The bathroom was extremely basic and bare. The breakfast had barely any food - as a vegetarian - The only option for me was mushrooms and baked beans. I had to ask for teabags as there were none left. Music continued till after 12am

Very Quiet, large free carpark, the room was nice and clean.
Everything was good
3.9
Easy access to room. Comfortable room. Quiet even when evening events running
Lighting in room and bathroom badly sited - behind and above person looking in the mirrors so face always in shadow. Hard to apply makeup/check appearance
3.9
location, grounds, staff polite and helpful.

The outside looks nice
Poor value for money. Drab rooms and interior which were no different to a budget hotel. Had to search staff out for breakfast seating, then again for food that had run out, again for cutlery, again for cups. Appeared massively understaffed.
3.9
Location and staff
Tired and dated, breakfast was poor.
