About this house rental
Welcome to Willie’s Place on a quiet cul de sac in Tamarind Grove. Come enjoy this nicely appointed and fully stocked, well located home. It’s a 10 minute drive to Sumter landing by car and 17 minutes in the courtesy 4 seater Streetrod golf car, and it’s way more fun. Tamarind Grove is south west of Sumter landing, north of Brownwood and located to the north 466a and the south 466. How convenient is that?
The living room has an electric fireplace, 65” television and let’s not forget Willie…..it’s his favorite room to hang out in. The primary bedroom has king size bed, 55” television and walk in shower. Guest room has a queen size bed. The den has 65” television and the couch is a queen size sleeper sofa. In the morning enjoy the screened-in lanai while having your morning coffee from the selection of complimentary coffee pods. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and is supplied with most any kitchen items you would have at your own home. Actually, I think this home is better equipped than the house I live in. Amenities such as coffee pods, dishwasher soap, trash bags, sponges, hair shampoo and conditioner, body soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels, foil, and saran wrap are provided, because who wants to go shopping for those things when you are on vacation. We also have folding chairs to take to the squares and listen to the nightly live music.
Outside the lanai is a hot tub located under a pergola for relaxing those tired muscles after a round of golf or a competitive game of pickle ball. No smoking permitted inside or on the lanai.
Dogs are welcomed as long as their owners are well behaved. ($100 fee)
All three televisions are all smart tv’s, with expanded Comcast cable, with cloud DVR.
Cleaning Fee: $175; Temporary Resident ID Cards (optional) $50.00 per couple. Security deposit $500, Pet fee $100.
Unless other arrangements are made, check-in is at 4:00 pm on first day of rental and check-out at 10:00 am on the last day of rental.
No subletting. No large gatherings or loud parties. It’s a quiet neighborhood and we don’t want our neighbors to hate us.
As owners, we will secure your guest resident ID's at $50 per couple submitted with a copy of each person's driver's license. Village ID's gives full access to all residential amenities including golf at any executive courses. Guest passes (free) will give access to recreation centers, pools, pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, billiards, archery, bocce ball and horseshoes. There are over 2,000 clubs and activities held at recreation centers and swimming pools. There are 36 executive golf courses-free (with resident ID) and 12 championship golf courses for a modest fee.

The house was great! We enjoyed the large family room and the master bathroom was very nice. Only issue we had was that during the day the AC would set itself to 80+ degrees which made getting to sleep difficult. Otherwise it was a great experience.

I’ve just completed my second stay here and have already planned my returns. I’ve stayed in many houses here in the US, in Europe and Scandinavia and this tops them all. A true home away from home. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the large kitchen is fully equipped for any kind of meal, is perfectly located in The Villages in a quiet neighborhood and the Phaeton golf cart gets compliments everywhere. Tami is very responsive if needed. Look no further….you’ve found it!

We enjoyed our stay at Willie's place. This house is beautiful very clean and amazingly well stocked. The owners were so easy to work with and very responsive. We did use the golf cart to visit the squares. All in all this was a wonderful experience. This house was the best we have stayed at since renting through VRBO. We truly enjoyed our stay. I want to thank Tami again for a wonderful stay and vacation.

I just spent two wonderful weeks at Tami’s beautiful home in The Villages and I’ve already planned my return. The home is beautifully decorated, tropical but well done and not over the top. The master bedroom and bathroom are large with very roomy his and hers closets. The kitchen is also large and well equipped to cook everything from simple to formal meals for friends and family. The house is centrally located in The Villages on a quiet street away from road noise. Finally, the four-person golf cart will get you anywhere in style. Since it was August I didn’t get to use the hot tub but it looked great. Tami was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to any questions. This is the place you’ve been looking for!
