Generally nice. Very lovely old building and interior renovation was sympathetic with old buildings features.
No hot water between 8.00 and 10.00-
AM. Bit of a major problem to be honest as shower could have been cold. Fortunately neither me or my family member needed to shower but could have ruined the stay. Reported to management and sadly they did not believe me and claimed that there was “”100%”” hot water. Led to a difficult and awkward email dialogue. Tbh I was expecting a small gesture of discount but found the response overtly defensive. Hopefully they investigated the boiler issue and resolved for the next guests.

Quick check in
Thin walls. No safe parking nearby. Very small bathroom

The bed were beautifully made and clean. The kitchen area was neat and tidy, also the bathroom.
Parking was the main issue. There was an extra TV that wasn't in use. That could go and perhaps have a dressing table in the corner, which will come in handy. The remote controls didn't have all the batteries working, and they were unclean.
Also, I realised there wasn't any access to fresh air which can be a potential problem for others, but with the air unit, it was suffice for the night.

Just stayed over for the night, it was lovely, clean with onsuit bathroom and towels provided as well as teas and coffee… just don’t forget your milk
I also had an issue that there wasn’t a microwave and they was very accommodating and switch the rooms with one inside of it.
the location was a bit loud as it’s near by a road but with the windows shut it’s good.

It was a very nice room. I was pleasantly surprised. A bit more than a bed for the night. It was clean and bright. It had all the facilities needed. I had a good night's sleep.. Good hot water. I would recommend and stay there again. Good value for money.
Problems with TV. No remote to watch normal TV.
Also location. No parking. The green light in room on all night which was annoying. Windows couldn't open. There was also dirt in the corner of room. Owner was made aware of this. He took a photo

Room was ok . Bed was comfy and pillows. Too many stairs for me.
Location wasn't what I expected.
No proper parking , had to park on pavement.
The sign outside the property kept us awake as it squeaked in the wind. TV no signal and no WiFi. Sound proofing of the room was no good as was woken up from the people next door. Would have liked some proper tea cups/mugs.

Nothing.
They said it was an apartment but it was like a HMO unit for people that are homeless. Me and my partner had to move to two different rooms due to the bedding that hadn't been changed before we came and the bathroom that had straight black hair everywhere including on the bedding and floor as well, which didn't come from any of us as it was a complete different hair texture as I have a curly afro with no straight hair and there was black looking limescale coming from the tap when turned on which was disgusting. They then gave us a tv that was meant for the wall but wasn't fitted on so it had to be balanced on a table.

Comfortable bed, very clean, had some extra things provided like toothpaste, shower stuff. Very convenient for Aston train station just over the road. Free side street parking on Thimble Mill Lane. Prompt responses to any questions.
On first arrival things seemed fine...
Dodgy area-worried my car would be broken in to. Extremely noisy from the main road, frequent trains throughout the night with the room shaking, screaming children next door throughout the night and noisy neighbours talking late at night (very thin walls and woke me up frequently despite ear plugs). There was a TV in the room but it didn't have a plug so couldn't be used-just for show, no remote. There was no joining instructions so I didn't even know where it was or how to get in until I asked (converted pub with key safe but code and flat number not readily available on booking). No Internet code provided and it didn't even work as the red light was flashing. Small mugs not big enough for a proper tea/coffee and foul tasting water from the tap. Would have benefitted from a hairdryer. The toilet also initially was constantly running which was noisy.

We did not stay here as it was not what they advertised. No tv No parking!!!!!! But only told us this on arrival, parking was 18 mins away, when we rang to ask they said it was over the road! Also its on a main busy road.
Non refundable because the place is horrific alot of people must complain!!!!! It looks like an old burnt out pub with graffiti on the walls and windows, shocking to say the least, it looks like a haunted house. We asked to speak to manager serval times and was told he was to busy, we also declined our booking as we just could not stay here and we was told we will be charged the whole amount!
Please check out this place on internet before booking! and yes it is the place that looks like an old pub! Scary for female's, me and my sister did not feel safe from the start. The host was very unprofessional creepy and so rude! We are currently dealing with the police to get our money back, as they robbed us. £63 for a non stay!!!
Please dont stay here it's Vile and they rob girls!!!!!!!! The only good comments on here are from the owner, as it is his name.
I have uploaded pics the host sent us. Through what's app. Creepy Man!!!!!!!!!! I hope to save someone from this horrific stay hence my honesty.

The first room we were in was modernly furnished and looked great. The housekeeper kindly blew up balloons for my friends birthday which I appreciated.
Both staff members were very helpful and the check in manager was very prompt in answering the phone or helping us with an issue.
The car park isn’t a car park, the area it is in doesn’t make 3 females feel completely safe. I feel as though it should be advertised that the apartment is in an old renovated pub, as from the outside there are no signs indicating it is an apartment building and looks like a really old pub (which can be alarming to female guests).
Our room had no windows, so given the summer weather it got completely humid and muggy and hot in our room. We tried to turn on the cooler they provide to which it made things a lot worse.
So I requested a fan or moving to a room with a window, so we were put into a different room with a fan. This room was I believe in the process of being developed, the wardrobe door wasn’t on, the tv was not set up, the bed back board had plastic on it, but the room had two windows, so we instantly felt cooler!
Upstairs was the kitchen and bathroom, and to my shock as the room was unused, the water was coming out brown and then eventually became very cloudy.
The room itself was very unhygienic and didn’t make us feel very clean.
I cannot fault the check in manager as he did help us where possible. I just don’t think rooms with no windows during summer should be advertised.

Best thing was the quick response to all my questions and the host was very accommodating to a late check out and immediately gave me WiFi details when I asked for them late in the evening.
Also very convenient next to the train station
Perhaps add a spatula or wooden spoon so I can use the frying pan to cook. Maybe add a info Page with the WiFi password and checkout instructions just to make it easier for both guest and host?

The room was clean and tidy, had everything we needed, suitable for a short time stay, worth the value.
The smell in the room was a bit bad, maybe because there was long vacancy before us. The window cannot be opened as well.

The apartment is over 2 floors, and was freshly decorated.
I would describe it as quirky.
Comfy bed, a large TV.. Fully equipped, from cutlery right up to a washing machine! Some toiletries provided.
We were seeing Bruce Springsteen at Villa Park - Within easy walking distance of Villa Park, around 15 minutes.
Close to the train line, so noisy at times. From the outside, the building looks like a closed pub but this hides a number of apartments.

Perfect stay for our Villa park concert. Very clean, free parking and very accommodating host. Very good value for the price.
