About this apartment rental
Experience Portland's charm in our beautifully restored Victorian home, just steps away from the vibrant Old Port shopping district. Enjoy the comforts of home with LL Bean bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, and the aroma of local coffee brewing in our espresso maker. Unwind in your private second-floor retreat with two cozy bedrooms and a full bath. Discover the city's attractions, indulge in delicious cuisine, and rest easy with high-speed fiber-optic. Welcome to your ideal Portland getaway!
Rich established gardens and an original stained glass entryway welcome you to your clean, comfortable, and charming space.
The lovely, light-filled bedrooms feature top quality LLBean bedding and cozy Pendleton wool blankets. There is a comfortable living room stocked with books, board games, and a wall-mounted TV, additional seating in the light-filled turret, and a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen.
The apartment offers two Roku TVs with multiple streaming subscriptions, a Bose bluetooth speaker, and a heat pump to keep the space toasty warm in the winter and comfortably cool in the summer, all while limiting environmental impact.
Many original features are retained, from the turrets, stained glass, and high ceilings, to the original trim and wainscoting, and charming full bath with porcelain clawfoot tub.
Sustainable soaps and lotions from Grove Collaborative will keep you clean and comfortable while supporting an environmentally friendly local business.
The fully equipped kitchen - with everything from sharp knives to baking equipment - allows you to take full advantage of the short walk to the weekend Farmer's Market. An espresso machine and coffee grinder for a fresh grind of Coffee by Design beans is another local treat.
You'll have the whole second floor to yourself, with private access to two bedrooms, one full bath, and a full kitchen. There is shared laundry in the basement, as well as a shared outdoor patio with grill and seating for seasonal use.
We are available and responsive leading up to and throughout your stay. We give our guests privacy, but can be reached at all times through the Airbnb app or by phone.
Portland's Parkside neighborhood is any easy walking distance to Portland's Old Port shops and restaurants, local sporting events, and the weekend Farmer's Market in Deering Oaks Park.
It's hard to find a more convenient location if you're in town for work at the hospital or for medical care. Being 0.3 miles to the main campus allows for respite in a quiet, comfortable space with quick and easy access to the hospital when needed.
There is unlimited free on-street parking if you prefer to leave your car and walk during your stay. Spaces are generally abundant before 5pm. As it gets later, parking becomes much more limited and it can take a little while to find a spot. For this reason, we recommend checking in on the earlier side.
Local bus and regional rail service are complemented by Lyft and Uber, and the Portland Jetport offers daily domestic and international flights.
Street parking only, which is free throughout our neighborhood, but can get crowded after 5pm. We have optional on site parking available at 40/night when available. There is a paid lot two blocks away that guests can use if needed.
Also, space is a little tight in the bathroom. Width around the toilet is just a little more wide than a toilet. Also the tub is claw foot so requires stepping in and out.

Great place to stay! It was spacious, bright, comfortable and affordable. Host was wonderful to work with; answered all questions and communication was kind!

This home was clean and beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and sheet’s smelled fresh! I’ll admit for us it was unusual for us here in the south that three apartment homes were all in one home but once we figured out the layout it was not a problem. It is in walking distance to nightlife and aside from the tight parking our stay had the comforts of home.

My (grown) daughters and I enjoyed several days in this sweet Victorian apartment. This elegant apartment is furnished to the point of being comfortable, but not to the point of feeling like you are in someone else’s space. The kitchen is fabulous, and had everything we needed to reheat food, brew great coffee, and sit down for a meal. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. We appreciated the mini-split in the living room, which provided a/c quickly and quietly. We were able to watch some of our favorite shows each night, which was fun. Parking was a little tricky, but we managed to find a spot reasonably close each evening. We had a blast each day, visiting the Museum of Art, going on a whale watch, seeing a musical at the Maine State Music Theater in Brunswick, eating great sushi at Yosaku, crazy good lobster rolls in Old Port, unforgettable gelato and ice cream, and lots of fun shopping. We will be back!
