I stayed at the hotel before they took over and redid it, AND WOW they did an amazing job cleaning up the place. Would recommend anyone staying here. Very clean and friendly

Fine room with comfortable beds, but our bathroom had mold on the walls and seemed worn down. Staff was generally friendly, but mixed experience. Breakfast was below expectations - lot’s of sugar and fat. The gym was OK, but lacking equipment.

The place was hopping when we arrived (wedding), But they got us checked in and our room was great. Room was a bit noisy due to busy roads, but fan on the AC took care of that issue. Really good cinnamon buns for breakfast.

Sorry the room was not as prepared as should be. Trash not emptied. Last person left drinks in frig. No tissues and no wash cloths in bathroom. Breakfast was horrible No unsweetened cream for coffee

Service was amazing, kudos to Friday at the front desk. Hotel hosts shows/music performances/different activities every night- for the first night we stayed there was a music performance and for the second night there was a drag show for those who purchased tickets for it. As for the cleanliness- we discovered the main blanket was full of mold (see pics attached) and didn’t use it the whole stay. Comfort- bed and pillows were pretty stiff. The air conditioner didn’t turn off, unless we took the plug out. The first night we stayed the water in the shower were totally cold but the next day they were hot, which was quite weird. Low value for money. All in all, a mediocre option for a one or two night stay in Scranton on a longer trip.

Stayed overnight for a concert. The contactless check in/out made things super convenient. The building looks dated from the outside buts it’s very well done inside. Don’t let the looks deceive you!

First let me start off by saying, that I’ve stayed all over the world and at low star to 5 star hotels and motels. Throughout the years of staying abroad, I’ve never stayed at a hotel with so much of what a hotel should not be. First off, I entered the room of 221 and immediately smelled smoke, then I almost busted my ass on the slippery floor, next I noticed that the mattresses where stained, then I noticed not so clean linen, then I found pubic hair in the tub and counter, the fridge was on but not working properly, then the microwave was dirty, then dust was all over the room, then I found little insects in the desk drawers, the curtains were dirty, paint was peeling, I could go on and on of what was so wrong with the room but I don’t what to write a novel. My and I were sick to our stomachs. I went to Walmart and purchased Lysol Air Fresher and Lysol disinfectant spray, it was so bad. Other hotels in the nearby area were booked to capacity and I didn’t feel like traveling anymore that day, so we stayed. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, I guess I was expecting a little too much. Also before you enter the lobby you have to walk through a number of people in front of the lobby chain smoking. Oh yea, stains on the wall. I was very disappointed in my stay. I will not be returning at all. The walls are paper thin, the room next to us so loud, we barely got any sleep, their kids keep running around in the room and yelling. Overall - very good! I liked the decor, and the price (thru Expedia) was right. On the whole, the place looked great. However , the ceiling over our bathtub looked like it had been wet and might fall in, and the entry door to the room stuck really bad. Coffee was good - but breakfast hours of 6-8 are unfriendly, especially on a weekend. And the breakfast options were pitiful.

My room was full of black mold I took videos and photos of the same. No unflavored cream for the coffee. I only had one washcloth in my room. The staff was amazingly friendly and wonderful. I did not complain to anyone about the mold as I don’t know how they could have compensated me so why bother.

Room was mostly clean but smelled like pee. Sign in the room said that breakfast was 6am-11am. I went down for breakfast at 8:30am and it was closed up. The sign in the dining area said breakfast was from 6am-8am. Who TF does breakfast only those hours? I ended up having to run elsewhere for breakfast which I did not have time to do. Mini-fridge in the room was more of a mini-freezer. I put a bottle of water in it before bed so I had it for in the morning. I woke up to a solid bottle of ice.

They staff was friendly but was soming by the front door when we entered. She asked if we were checking in from a group she was smoking outside. Room was run down dusty. I left behind a magnifying make up mirror in the bathroom. Took three phone calls to have someone go look. They can’t saying they had a note but no one has looked. Took two days. We were finally told that it was gone and someone must have taken it even thought he too was empty. Said it must have been the cleaning crew. That was that.

The hotel is located near a highway, about 2 miles from downtown. It needs to be refurbished. I found it to be acceptably clean. My biggest complaints are that I could not access Wi-Fi in my room. I went the lobby the next morning and got a connection - and then lost it. The free breakfast consists of pastries in wrappers - which didn't seem appetizing to me.

The room was clean, and the two queen beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked really well. There were plenty of outlets all over the room. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room, but no coffee maker. The bathroom was clean and the sink, shower, and toilet worked fine. The towels were kind of small and scratchy, but serviceable. We were not disturbed by noise in other rooms or on the street. The staff were pleasant and helpful.Overall, a very positive experience for an excellent price.

Very old, needs maintenance and renovation. Room floor was dirty. One of the Pool facilities was out of service and the other was very dirty. They posted, in the rooms, breakfast hours are 6-10am, but the front desk told us it’s only 6-8am.

This is a three star property that doesn’t pretend to me anything else. The rooms were quite noisy but I managed to get my head down. Breakfast is finished by 8AM which is far too early. The pool looked interesting. Bath and Body Works products in the bathroom were a nice touch.

Even though they have posted in the rooms that breakfast ends at 10, it actually ends at 8. The toaster used to cook the limited time breakfast was broken. I ate a plain bagel. Coffee was good. Rooms were clean, but dated. Wi-Fi was fast. Staff were very friendly, very welcoming and ready to help.

My wife and i had to change rooms 3 times and they charged me a 250$ smoking fee even though we didnt smoke in the room i wont be coming back!

Tristian at the reception was the best part of our stay - he was so kind and helpful!! The rooms were clean, however the mattress needs upgrading. The breakfast needs a lotttt of work. Overall, it was a great stop during our long drive and the city of Scranton in incredible beautiful. For the price, I would stay here again!

The hotel is very old. The hot tub was not working. Their so called breakfast was frozen breakfast items and limited drinks along with no where to sit. We took a shower and the water would not drain I called the front desk they said they would send up maintenance when they came in at 3pm I was leaving for a concert at 230pm. The room looked like crap. The beds and the pillows were horrible.
