The home was as described. And, my family enjoyed our stay.
The porch was one of the best features of the home.

Rhe pictures do not do it justice. So very cute and cozy. The rooms are very roomy and the ceiling height is at least 9' which really makes the rooms feel bigger. Two tv's in opposite sides of the house. Great little fire pit picnic bench if you want to eat out side. There is a second rental above the garage so the driveway is shared plenty of parking for both units (2 cars per unit). We stayed for our soldiers graduation at Fort Jackson justv12 minutes away to the gate. Also 30 second walk to a cut icecream and fried food joint. 1 minute drive to the grocery store and 2 minutes to Starbucks. We highly recomend this place. Wifi as well but we did not use it however I know it works based upon a quick conversion with the rear rental person who is super nice.

Property is roomy with separation between master area and front two bedrooms. 2 bathrooms is a plus with a group. Beds were super comfy and considering how hot and humid it was (95+) the house stayed cool and comfortable.
Stores and restaurants within walking distance if you choose.
Host Dave was very responsive and made sure we had every we needed.

Came into town for the week. Loved the walkability to grocery stores and a Starbucks. Do not sleep on the Mexican restaurant in the Starbucks complex. SO delicious.

This property was perfect for our short stay in Colombia. Very clean and very comfortable. Our daughter goes to USC and she loved the fact we could cook for her and just spend time. Will def stay here again when we come back. Location to everything we did was fantastic!

Stayed to see our son graduate from Army basic training with family and friends. This is a great location! Walkable to Publix, pizza, ice cream, fresh bakery, liquor store etc. It is also a straight shot to Fort Jackson Gate 1. The towels were five star, along with the provided bath toiletries. Beds and bedding were hotel quality and very comfortable. We also had a warm welcome with a bottle of wine left for us in the kitchen.
We had a few issues however. NO toilet paper was provided which we found out 'on the go' and no trash bags in the kitchen. The master shower had a few issues like the door doesn't close because the dimensions are off, the hot water doesn't work because the handle just spins, no towel rack, and no window covering for the window in the bath. Only other issue was the back storm door won't latch shut into an alcove inside the house but there is another door that has a dead bolt.
Over all the house is very cute, great location and served us well for the five days we stayed. We would stay again as it is a cute neighborhood and I hope this review highlights a few things that could be 'fixed' for the next guests.

This little cottage is in an ideal location (we were literally 7-12 minutes from everything we came to do in Columbia). Home was very clean. Listing is very accurate. The little extra toiletries were appreciated. And the BEDS! We all commented about the beds. Perfect spot for a girls getaway. Should we come back Columbia, we would definitely book again.

My daughter, son in law, their infant and I enjoyed a recent week long stay as we visited family and friends.
The property was grand; it was very clean and well supplied and is in a very convenient area.
We would definitely stay again.

I was in Columbia to meet family, including two grandchildren, for the weekend. This is a nice, older home in a pretty, tree-lined residential neighborhood, very walkable, and several restaurants within a few minutes' drive. The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely appointed and had everything that we needed for the weekend. The house is pet-friendly -- I took my dog -- but the house was neat and clean upon arrival, no sign of previous pet visitors! We will likely rent this property again.

I want to personally thank you for an amazing family home that made our reunion with our daughter memorable. I truly love your home and the first impression I had was the amazing sent as you first walk in. The layout was very nostalgic to the childhood home my husband was raised in and had such a great feel. I personally would like to share home clean and bright the home was. I have 4 children and they also loved the spacious layout. The bedding and pillows are super comfy, towels we so warm and full. I was impressed by the toiletries and all the extras that we might have left behind and was there to our convenience. The sofa is amazingly comfortable. I appreciate the throws placed throughout the home. Having a washer and dryer to utilize was very handy. I love the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Very soft and kept my hair soft. I’m really picky about that and was happy to try. The backyard space was lovely to relax in this amazing October weather. My husband and children simply had a wonderful time at your home and would hope to visit again in the future. Thank you for having us.
A note for those looking to rent a place close to Fort Jackson training base. It is a perfect location within a few miles and was super close to restaurants and Publix incase needed.

We stayed here for our first USC parents weekend and loved the home! There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room to watch football games during the day before heading to the USC game. The house has several nice features and the owners have thought of many things to make our stay comfortable. Check-in and out were super easy and David was very quick to reply to any questions I had before and during our trip. We will definitely stay here again!
