About this house rental
The Angel’s Share in Bardstown welcomes you to wake up and smell the bourbon from Barton’s 1792 Distillery right next door and start your day in America’s Most Beautiful Small Town for the Bourbon Trail, Kentucky Derby, or PGA.
We are just a short walk or approximately 1 mile downtown restaurants, bourbon bars, and shops and to the KY Bourbon Festival. Convenient
Our 4 BR 1 BATH home in a quiet neighborhood is cozy and tastefully decorated with a well appointed kitchen for cooking or cocktails, and local touches ready for your stay! The home, built in the 1940’s has been attentively updated to make your stay comfortable and accommodate the technology of today! So put on a record in the living room and listen to some Kentucky inspired tunes and pour you a well deserved glass of your favorite trail find. Sit back and relax in our vintage inspired living space.
The property is right next door to the working Barton 1792 distillery so please respect their property and those around us, but trust me when I say, a nice fire out back in the solo stove, the bluetooth speaker, and Rickhouses just feet away exhaling the Angel’s Share in the Autumn air is perfection.
There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor with queen beds and smart TV along with the full bathroom.
Upstairs there are 2 additional bedrooms one with a queen bed, and another with a full/double day bed and twin trundle as well as a working desk. All bedding is available for the trundle as are extra comforters and blankets.
All bedrooms come with premium hotel collection sheets, multiple pillows and sufficient outlets to plug in your devices. Due to the stairs, we advise this is not an accessible property and use caution with children.
The kitchen is well equipped with stainless pots and pans, some non stick as well as plenty of bakeware. Further we have a Ninja Blender, Crockpot, hand mixer all utensils and cutlery, cocktail kit, and plenty of cocktail and wine glasses as well as Fiesta Ware dishes.
A Keurig, full Pot, and kettle is available as is a starter assortment of coffee.
An iron, ironing board, luggage racks as well blowdryer and Temple Spa hair products from England, and local hand soaps.
Please use the supplied make up cloths to avoid discoloration on the linens.
The basement is reserved for laundry only or in the case of an emergency.
The backyard is equipped with a large gas grill, chairs, a solo stove smokeless fire pit and a and yard games may be stored in the shed.
Trash is on Thursdays if you end up with a full can sooner than expected.

Place was great. Only issue was one bathroom, but it was almost impossible to find anywhere to stay around Louisville because of an event. But place was great.

We planned this stay to take advantage of the Bourbon Trail. We were able to visit many distilleries due to their close proximity of this home! The home is beautifully decorated and the beds are comfortable. We took advantage of the outside gas grill and cooked some delicious steaks one night. Brickhouses are right next door which was a special treat to see. We will definitely stay here again!

This house was perfect for our first trip to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. The property was easy to locate and the town of Bardstown was wonderful and easier to maneuver than Lexington . We enjoyed the small town vibe and not having to stay in the city. We will definitely try to stay here again on another visit to the Bourbon Trail.

Great stay. Quick communication from Marc when I had a question after check-in. Enjoyed reading whiskey books, record player and Chris Stapleton vinyl album in living room. Comfortable beds and mattresses. Great location, short Uber or drive to get to Bardstown city center and restaurants. Cool seeing Barton rickhouse from back windows and backyard. Highly recommend the burgoo at the Old Talbott Tavern. Would definitely stay here again

This place was great. The rooms had plenty of space and everything's no was in good repair. The backyard fire pit worked well for us at night. I enjoyed the smell of the next door distillery in the morning. We were able to get to all the distilleries in the area and it was an easy drive to downtown Louisville.
