About this house rental
In a unique location, amidst the forests of Lunteren and next to the Wekeromse Zand, this detached holiday home is situated. The 1930s house has been recently completely renovated. It is exceptionally tastefully decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences. The surroundings are magical: nestled in the forest, on a 4-hectare plot, surrounded by deer, wild boars, squirrels, and a large number of birds. It is a fantastic experience to explore your own piece of forest amidst a concert of birds and immerse yourself in nature.
The house features a large living room with a seating area, wood stove, and an open kitchen with a kitchen island. The first bedroom, with a double bed and built-in wardrobe, is also located on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a separate toilet and a spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and washer/dryer combination.
On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms. One large bedroom with a double bed, desk, wardrobe, and a loft. This bedroom also has a beautiful balcony. The loft, with two additional sleeping spots, is accessible via a ladder. The two smaller rooms each have a pull-out bed, creating two sleeping spots. Both rooms have a loft accessible via a ladder, providing an extra sleeping or chill-out area.
The property has its own private garden surrounding it, with a terrace equipped with garden furniture. Furthermore, the 4-hectare plot offers various opportunities for games and adventures, with its own seating areas and walking paths. The owners' holiday home is located over 100 meters away, separated by trees and with its own access road. They are occasionally present during weekends and school holidays. On the plot, there is also a studio serving as a playroom (games, books, craft supplies available). It can also be used as a workspace. In addition to the studio, there is a trampoline, hammock, and small football field.
The house is located in a protected natural area and is a perfect starting point for many walks and bike rides in the Veluwe. The Wekeromse Zand and the Lunterse Buurtbosch are within walking distance. For a refreshing swim, the charming Bosbad of Lunteren is only a 5-minute drive away. The Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kröller-Müller Museum can be reached via a beautiful bike ride. In the vicinity, there are many nice restaurants such as the Lunterse Boer and Het Uilenbos (with a large playground). The center of Lunteren, with various shops, is a 10-minute drive away. Bicycles can also be rented in Lunteren. The center of Ede is a 15-minute drive away.
The property is accessible by car, approximately 10 minutes from Lunteren, and the last part of the road is unpaved. The Lunteren train station and the Ede-Wageningen train station are respectively a 10-minute and 15-minute drive away by car.
