Plenty of room for our group of 17. you need new pots and pans. I'm 62 years old and from the deck to our room there were 114 steps. We rented a pontoon and had a lot of fun.

House is a great setup with so many bedrooms. Dock is solid with a roof and there are not too many steps. We'd use the property again! it was a fun week. Management was very attentive to any issues that popped up.

Our family of 3 generations had a great week despite being caught out on boats in a storm and returning to find out the power had gone out. What a fun adventure that we will always remember. The host was great and we loved the house and the lake. We are ranking this #1 best

This is overpriced because it cannot accommodate more than six people comfortably. The ad stated it could sleep 15 (?) people, but the bathrooms are tiny and sharing bathrooms for that many people is very difficult. There is room for about 7 people to have dinner together. The ad for this property stated there was a gym available; that was a complete lie (and one of the major reasons we selected this property was for free gym access). The major fan in the living/dining/kitchen area did not work, which meant you had to turn the AC down to feel comfortable. Both gas tanks for the grill were empty, ruining a dinner.

Location was great. House was clean and dock worked out well for multiple boats. Overflow/trailer parking is not very convenient but for only having to use the boat ramp to load/unload once, it wasn’t a major inconvenience. We had 10 adults and 13 kids from 3months up to 10 years and the house was perfect for everyone. The kids loved the water trampoline

Floor plan and room set up met or exceeded our needs. Double oven and dual dishwashers were an added plus. One of the nicest rentals we've experienced.

Everything about this property exceeded expectations. Location (in a quiet cove close enough to the jumping bridge but not too close to be noisy), property itself (tons of space, clean, plus games and activities), and customer service (hosts were communicative and easy to work with). Would absolutely stay here again

Upon arrival and unloading we found a dead mouse on a glue trap right on the kitchen floor. There was mouse droppings throughout the house and 2 days into our stay a live mouse was running through the cabin. There were dirty clothes left in the dressers of 2 bedrooms. There was quite a bit of dust. The cabin has actually been updated and is nice, however the pictures showed 2 refrigerators and there is now only one. 17 people under one roof needs more than one. The temperature was very hard to regulate, but not terrible considering how the cabin is set up. The beds were comfortable in most of the rooms. Communication with management company was good. The cabin has a very steep driveway so if have a larger vehicle its tight. The views were beautiful and it wasnt too far from grocery stores. Its roughly 2 hours from Gatlinburg. All of my major concerns were brought to the management and they were polite with their response. Given these issues i would stay again, it was worth it for the price.

Overall a fantastic house and location, which made for a perfect weekend on the lake.

The location and house were fantastic for our large group! We had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and we loved the private dock. The only complaint is the beds need new mattresses and the furniture was pretty worn.

Great family place to gather. Nice covered dock in a quiet cove.

Pros: The house is located at a perfect boating location just inside the No Wake Zone by the jumping bridge. Dock is on a private cove which is shared by another dock and very close in proximity. Every floor (3 floors) had a seating area with a TV. Kitchen well stocked and grill was the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a VRBO. Great views from the deck on each level.
Cons: Be prepared to walk a lot of stairs. Mattresses and couches were pretty worn and badly need replaced. Deck needs some work due to soft rotting boards. No access to dock area without walking through the house.
Overall a great location but needs some work.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the lake and there was plenty of space for our group of 21. We brought 2 boats, a paddle board, kayak, and tons of inflatables, and had a great week playing in the water. We cooked every meal at the house and that worked out well too. I believe the kitchen and main living area is actually more spacious than it appears in the photos. Some of the mattresses are ready to be replaced, but otherwise, we found the house to be a great place to gather as an extended family.

We hosted 16 friends for Memorial weekend and the location was great and house had pretty much everything we needed! Just a couple disclaimers to share for future guests: hot tub didn’t work and this was not told to us until we checked in. We were really looking forward to this since we have some health issues and don’t have one at our house. Upon looking at the hot tub when we got there, there was no water and were leaves from the Fall in it so it just seemed it had been out of commission for a while. We would have booked another place had we known this ahead of time so that was a bummer. The other thing is beware of the boat dock at Sugar Hallow. Definitely difficult to put bigger boats in but is nothing to do with the house. Thanks!!

We had a great time! Plenty of room for everyone it was nice with multiple floors with each family having different sleeping schedules. The weather was great we rented a boat and got a lot of use of the dock. It was nice to be in the cove, less boat traffic. It was shaded at times. Only draw back there was some wood debris at times. Overall the property was great. There appears to be a known moisture problem on lower level so there is a bit of a smell on lower level.
Had a few issues during our stay the owner was quick to respond.
Just beware of the turn off the road into property it is rather sharp and narrow. If you come from other direction around loop it is easier. It would be nice to add directions on rental site to avoid this sharp turn.
Thank you again for a wonderful time.

Very nice house. Beds could have been a little more comfortable, and steps to dock needed cleaned. Overall the house was very roomy and could accommodate a lot of people comfortably. The location of dock on the water was great for swimming when we got back from boating all day, the hot tub was also a nice extra.

The house itself was as advertized mostly. The kitchen area was actually larger and user friendly. However there were no towels anywhere upon arrival. Gretchen did resp

We vacationed with our entire family of 22. Always excited to have everyone together for an entire week. The house and bedrooms accommodated all. The kitchen/living area could have been a little larger, not enough sitting space for all of us. The 2 refrigerators were a must however the one freezer and ice maker did not work and the second refrigerator ice maker quit working while we were there. The boat dock was great, we spent a lot of time there but the ladder bolts were stripped and we could not use the ladder. The house was clean and the owner was quick to respond to our concerns. Another fun vacation for all of us.

This property was perfect for our group’s weekend getaway! Gretchen was very helpful throughout the booking process and helped us find a place to rent a boat, get taxis if needed, and get firewood! This property is secluded away in a quiet area and was just perfect for us! The couple of minor things that could have been better are mainly towards the cleaning crew for the home and that’s not a reflection on the owner at all! The house was stocked with kitchen essentials and had ample room for our large group. We didn’t spend much time at the house, and spent most of the time on the lake but the cameras on the outside of the main floor made us feel safe leaving the home empty for a long period of time! I would recommend this home to other renters

Very good place for a large family, some items needed small repairs but overall was a good stay.

The cabin we stayed in was very clean, and was just as they described. the owners were very easy to reach, and more than willing to help.
the only thing I would change, would be to have the decks have overhangs that did not have gaps in them, by that I mean, there were overhangs over every porch, but they were planks with gaps in them. that would be great during a normal time and visit, but it rained almost the entire time we were there and we couldn't go sit on the porch because the rain came thru the gaps.
the cabin had a fire pit and games outside, and when the weather cleared enough some of them did go down there and enjoy.
thank you so much for letting us stay in your cabin. there was certainly enough room for all the family that came.
Thank you, I plan on trying to rent for next year at about the same time. Janie

Beautiful rustic smokie mountain cabin! Enjoyed the beautiful mountain and river views in a very spacious accommodating cabin. This large cabin with 8 bedrooms, was very clean and had lots of space for entertaining our entire large family. This cabin was a perfect place to host our family Christmas. You will not be disappointed with the views and all the natural surroundings! Great place to visit again in the future!

This property was nice. It was very spacious and felt like your own home. Everyone enjoyed it and the area was beautiful. It was a very quiet city which had pros and cons. We did drive 1-2 hours away to visit some other places but the cabin itself was very calm and peaceful. The house had everything you needed , towels , sheets , blankets. The only thing I would prepare for a little bit is maybe firewood for the pit. We relied on wood from the surrounding area which is very doable although was damp at times. Also the lights near the fire pit needed to be replaced as half of them were out; if they were all on it would’ve made the place. Other than that everything was smooth and was such a good deal. I’d recommend.

Great location back in a cove, nice view in a wooded setting. We had plenty of room if we wanted to invite more. Trailered our boat down and took advantage of the private community ramp and the boat dock at the house. We enjoyed our Norris Lake weekend and will do it again
