The setting is lovely and the staff could not have been more pleasant. The location is outside of the hubbub of the city but close enough to be a quick drive into town.
The plain double is an attic room that has been unsuccessfully converted into a hotel room, despite touches of interior decoration . The ceiling slopes down sharply to very low walls making it unsafe for a person of normal height to be anywhere but the center of the room. The tub and the sink sit out in the open on one side of the room and the mirror in front of the sink is so low that in order to see my face to shave I had to sit down in a chair in front of the sink. To sit on the toilet one had to crouch and back up cautiously. The hotel is close to town, but it sits directly on the main road, so traffic noise meant keeping the one window shut, even though that eliminated outside air circulation. Also the driveway entrance/exit is at the bottom of a downhill blind curve. Exit is facilitated by a pole mirror, but the left turn entrance when coming from the town is perilous.

The place is stunning. Gorgeous buildings, beautiful gardens, tasteful decor, spacious, off road parking, dog friendly (even in the restaurant), a lovely walk to town (15 mins) on a paved bridle way. It was a very cute place, and a perfect stop off on our way from Oviedo to Porto.
Sadly, the noise from the road was worse than we had expected as was the noise from upstairs (not very sound proof). It's a shame as we loved everything else, just a little too loud so it impacted our sleep.

Accomodation in a newly restored building across the garden from the cantina. Excellent breakfast but served only at 9.30.

it would be helpful for them to provide shampoo.

Great location, could walk to town. Clean and comfortable
6.7 / 10.0
Lovely location, pleasant and friendly staff and an interesting small balcony covered in grape vines.
The room, although spacious and characterful was very cluttered. The bathroom is tiny, with the space taken up by a huge old bath. Wash hand basin is outside the bathroom in an old wooden washstand. Could do with freshening up decor and either reducing clutter to enable more effective cleaning, or having an effective system to clean around all the bits n' pieces.

The apartment was just perfect, comfortable and clean providing a much needed rest during our Camino walk. The staff were lovely, fed us very well and a great breakfast delivered to our room!! It’s slightly out of town if you are doing the walk, but don’t let this put you off... stop for a coffee in town and then walk out to it. It’s worth it!

This is a great place - comfortable room and excellent kitchen
One small
Complaint - the coffee in the flask delivers for in room breakfast was cold. Otherwise - 100 per cent perfect
