La prima colazione era eccellente , con prodotti artigianali di alta qualità . La posizione ottima per il cammino Inglese per Santiago , anzi era sul cammino e ti faceva saltare una salita importante.

beautiful house, comfy beds, fantastic breakfast, lovely owner. if you do you camino, part of steep hill is behind you once you reach this hotel (its on the hill and camino continues right next to the hotel).

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice& comfortable room. pretty good breakfast. location is right on the Camino.

Location was far away from the restaurants in town and it was a very steep hike to get back to the property.

One of the best hotels on the Camino de Ingles!

This place is a real gem on the Camino de ingles route! The owner is SO NICE and welcoming. The hotel is in an old stone house that has been meticulously redone and is incredibly stylish with some modern flourishes. Exceptional!

Mary was a “Camino” angel.

We stayed here one night during our Camino the Santiago and what a haven. Mary, (not the owner, she was also very nice and responsive Over the phone) but Mary who worked the desk that day was amazing. She went out of her way to help, take care, and serve us. Thank you Mary you are a “Camino” angel and we really appreciated your kindness, warmth, and helpfulness. Breakfast was amazing, great views from our balcony and impecable cleanliness in room and bath room. Property was located in a great spot in the camino at the too of hill from the town. Great property and wonderful staff would.

Fantastic!!! Great stay for a great price.

I loved pretty much EVERYTHING! The staff was kind and genuine. My room was sparkling clean and very comfy. The common areas were designed with love and care. The breakfast was amazing and I really appreciated the freshly baked DELICIOUS croissant! It felt like a home away from home. A very welcome atmosphere!

Would find it almost impossible to find anything wrong with this place! The only very small thing would be the walls are a little thin between the rooms so it wasn't always very quiet...but otherwise fantastic!

Great choice for a night in Pontedeume

It was a great stay on the El Camino Ingles, a house situated on a hill with a lovely view on Pontedeume, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, clean and the shower quite spacious. Last, but not least: great bed.

The humidity level, which is not the problem of the hotel….but it’s a regional thing probably. With the windows closed you could feel it quite strongly.

Exceptional

Absolutely perfect stop if you are doing the Camino as you get to the far side of the town and get the climb done & it's on the Way. The accommodation is fabulous and the host Mari really goes a long way to make sure everything is perfect. She's very friendly & helpful and really makes you feel at home, giving you the freedom of the place to treat it like home. Really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing - definately worth staying there!

Amazing lady who took care of us at the property - massive thank you! I spoke barely any spanish, she spoke no english, and yet we were able to communicate with no issues. Excecptional breakfast too, which is crucial when doing the Camino Ingles.

Relaxing stopover on the Camino

Beautiful, simple renovation. Comfortable bed and great breakfast

Be warned and make sure you eat before climbing to the hotel. Not a trip you want to repeat down and back after a day’s hiking ! And take along some wine and provisions to nibble in the hotel in the evening !

It was super clean, beautiful, fascinating architecture, beautiful restoration of an old building with modern amenities. The receptionist was amazingly helpful and hospitable.

Disappointing

Told we could eat breakfast anytime between 7 and 11. Then when we showed up we had to wait 30 minutes. Terrible location with noisy road and poor parking. Breakfast service was poor. Lady talked on the phone for most of the time and made it slower in addition to the 30 min delay. No love or passionate in the decor, looks like stuff bought from whatever the Spanish equivalent of Walmart is.

Camiño Inglés bliss

The hotel is perfectly situated on the Camino Inglés ‘The English Way’ It’s a bit of a hike up from the center of town where all the cafés are located but well worth the climb for a good nights sleep. The property is beautifully appointed and very clean.

Superb

Excellent room/bed/bathroom, comfortable and cosy. Wifi was good, plenty of parking places as well, apart from the fact we didnd't realize at first that the main entrance was not from the front but from the back of the building. Breakfast was good (compared with Spanish standard), with plenty of choices.

The sound isolation could be better, considering it's close to a very busy road.
