A nice little property to stay at after a pieceful drive through winding roads, farms and a few horse and buggies. We stayed at cabin 1, if i were to book again, id have chosen any of the other cabins, overlookomg the larger water feature.
That said, it was clean and pieceful. We got to see some turkeys, cows, and a hawk right from the porch. Our dog loved it!
Would recommend checking out the "Blue Holler", it was extreamly close and was probably the best food we had on our stay.

The cabin was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. It has plenty of space to sleep 5-6 people, and the loft was a hit with the kids. The cabin's rustic charm perfectly matches the surroundings, which include a farm, small fishing ponds, and a larger pond where you can rent a small boat or kayak. The pavilion at the lake was also a nice feature that I wish we used more. Check in/check out was super easy, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. In-cabin laundry is a huge plus.
Overall, we'd rate the property, the cabin, and the hosts 5 stars and would definitely stay again. I do wish the property was more walkable. The ponds were cute and there are wide open fields, but a small path circling the ponds or connecting the cabins would put this place over the top -- even a gravel or dirt path. Cars and trucks occasionally pass through the property at high speeds. We think it's a county road, so we don't think the owners can do anything about it. But, it's definitely something to be aware of if you have little kids. The property is plenty big enough to keep your kids away from the street. The property is close to Mammoth Cave, if you use the ferry. If not, it is about a 45-minute drive to the visitor center. The ferry will close if the river isn't high enough (it was closed to trucks and RVs during our stay). This definitely wasn't a problem for us but would have been good to know.

My family of five had the best time at this cabin. It was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at and had the most accommodating hosts ever. Everything from the private fishing ponds to the serene sunsets makes this place special in so many ways! Perfect!

Such a gem in the rural area of KY that was just as the website described for a family-friendly getaway! Perfect for visiting Mammoth Cave National Park by day and watching the sunset from the back porch at night. Our teen and younger son enjoyed the lake on property for swimming and fishing. A big bonus that we could bring our four-legged fur baby along also. Thank you for having us!

We loved the secluded location and big porch overlooking a lake. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The only two small complaints; It's not really close to Mammoth cave as suggested in the ad. It's 12 miles as the crow flies but a 45 minute drive. That's on me for not checking the drive time, and the lovely secluded spot made up for it. There is also no big table for a group to gather around, but we were all able to sit on the big porch to talk and enjoy the view. Very positive overall!

Wonderful time relaxing on the back deck looking out over the rolling fields. Just what I needed. Our rescue dog loved the outdoors and the porch. Walk to the cave was very nice. Plan on more hiking and kayaking next time. Very enjoyable time.

Everything about this location was perfectly thought through. Having the various lakes for swimming and fishing was a hit with our family. The owner is very responsive and accommodating to anything requested. He has a wonderful trail system with waterfall and bride on site. Very peaceful but close to all the major attractions. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing outdoor getaway!

Property was better than expected. Every detail was thought through from the cabin set up to the availability of kayaks and bass boats to hiking trails and on site swimming, fishing, and waterfalls. Amazing family vacation in complete peace and quiet but close enough to major attractions and Bowling Green. Can’t wait to plan a visit with more friends!

This property is very nice. Away from everything. On a nicely kept farm. The owners let the renters hike their property and share in the beautiful pictures the landscape has to offer. My kids were extatic to find arrowheads, that the owners took the time and $ to place on their property for an extra fun time. Cows were fun to watch and a friendly sheep dog kept us laughing. Thank you

We really enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin! It was so peaceful being tucked away on this property. We enjoyed seeing the cows and turkeys from the deck in the morning and watching the bats fly around under the stars at night. The sunsets with sunflowers were photogenic. I visited the waterfall after the rain and had it all to myself.
The cabin was very new and clean. The kids had a blast sleeping in the loft, though we could hear them through the floor easily. The kitchen had the essentials and our host was very responsive & helpful.
We took the Green River ferry three days in a row to Mammoth Cave and barely had to wait.
We would definitely recommend this to those staying in the area!

When we first arrived, I was a little concerned about how small the property was since I had five people in my group. We had more than enough room. The inside is well thought out and provided everything we needed for our visit. The other properties nearby are far enough away as to still give you a feeling of privacy and a home away from home. I would recommend this location to anyone looking.

We loved our time here! The hosts were amazing, and the location was beautiful. The cabin is cute, comfortable, and well appointed. Our whole family had fun exploring the property, fishing, and kayaking on the lake. Mammoth Cave National Park is super close and worth a visit. We made family memories that will last a lifetime.

We had a wonderful time at the cabins and activities on site were perfect for our small children. They loved waking up and fishing in the ponds, kayaking in the lake, and hiking the trail to the waterfall and cave on site. Our host was easy to get in touch with and so welcoming!

This is such a beautiful property! They have multiple cabins, but they're nice and spread out so you're not super close to anyone else and have plenty of privacy. There were lots of ponds to fish in and we caught quite a few fish (and of course released them back!). We did the hike to the cave and waterfall, which were just SO cool to see and very peaceful. The owners were great and helped us with any questions we had and any needs we had - and even came out with in minutes of us messaging about a lil wasp nest we spotted forming by the door to remove it! We had such a wonderful time and will be telling all of our friends about this!
About 45 mins from Kentucky Down Under, Dino World, Corvette Museum and LOTS of cave tours to go on!

This was the perfect hidden gem!
The cabin was clean, pictures are very accurate, came with everything we needed to cook and it’s just so cute!
The waterfall was gorgeous, bring good hiking shoes and ones that can get wet.
We will be back for sure with the kids!
Also, the manager on-site was very helpful and kind! Thank you!

This was truly a great experience, very isolated, which was exactly what we were going for and still offered lots to do on the property. Hiking, fishing, boating (small electric and kayaks) as well as wilderness exploration. Our cabin was small with a roomy feel and a small loft for our 6 year old to hangout. Would stay here again with out hesitation!

This is our second year at this location. Our family loves it!
The hosts are kind, friendly and thoughtful. This year we had yummy homemade doughnuts and cookies in the cabin when we arrived! The cabins are clean and beds are comfy too!
The country setting and picturesque views of the rolling countryside are breathtaking. The ponds for fishing and kayaking are beautiful and well maintained. The fire pits are perfect for smore making and the stars are bright at night! With all this and the incredible cave and waterfall onsite with well kept hiking trails-this place has it all!
We were sad to leave, and hope to go back soon!
