Welcome to the House on Cora! - A delightful Hill Country retreat in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas! This charming property offers not one, but two houses – the main house and the casita – providing the perfect getaway for up to 10 guests. During your stay, you'll have full access to both structures, ensuring a spacious and comfortable stay for everyone in your group.

The Space:
The main house is designed to accommodate your needs with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, featuring a total of 5 cozy beds. Note, there is a trundle bed in the living room that pulls out to create the 2 single beds. The main house also features a spacious living room with a TV and a fully equipped kitchen to share memorable dining experiences with your loved ones.

In the casita, it's a pretty open concept. You'll find a convenient kitchenette, a private bathroom. As well as a queen sized bed, a breakfast table and a TV with some cozy chairs to kick back and relax. You'll also have access to your own carport for parking your vehicles.

Step outside to the fully fenced backyard, a private oasis where you can unwind and enjoy the Hill Country atmosphere. The private patio offers a peaceful retreat for morning coffee or evening conversations. For the ultimate relaxation, indulge in the inviting hot tub, soothing away any worries, or sway in the hammock as you immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature.

One of the biggest highlights of the house is the central location, situated just 3 blocks away from Main Street. Explore the vibrant local scene, from quaint shops to delectable restaurants, and immerse yourself in the authentic Texan experience.

Other Things to Note:
Also, please note we have routine spa maintenance scheduled midweek. Typically, maintenance will take roughly 15 minutes, and the spa will be available for use after the service is completed.

Also note, that the casita (bedroom 4) is a detached structure from the main house.

If you're considering bringing a furry friend along, kindly be aware we do have a $50 pet fee per stay for up to 2 pets. Please remember to inform us in advance if you plan to bring a pet.

Very comfortable, updated older home close to the historic downtown. The sheets were sooo soft (not semi stiff like hotels) that contributed to restful nights. Fenced backyard was nice for our older four legged girls. We ate out but kitchen was nice for morning coffee and tea.

I took my daughter and six of her friends to Fredricksburg for her birthday. We stayed at House on Cora Street. It is the perfect place for a larger group. Amazingly spacious, very clean and well appointed. Walking distance to town was a huge bonus!

My husband and I booked this place with our parents as a time for everyone to get to know each other better. We were married in November, six weeks after we met, so our families hadn't had a chance to really get to know each other as well as we would have liked. This was a great place to accomplish that. We enjoyed the simplicity of the decorations, the big table in the middle was perfect to play games at, the location is so close to everything on the mains street, and the backyard was great for the dogs. We very much enjoyed our time here! Also, the handle on the toilet in the master bedroom broke while we were there and the owner was super responsive and got someone over to fix it in no time.

The house on Cora was as nice As any place I’ve ever stayed. My bed and pillows were so comfortable. Every detail of the furnishings were beautiful and we were completely comfortable. My daughter slept in the Casita and loved everything about that as well. It was a very pleasant experience.

We are a bigger family and so finding a place for us can be a challenge at times. This home gave everyone their own bed. The separate casita was great for when my husband and I wanted to get up early for coffee and conversation without waking up or being interrupted by kids, but loved the peace of mind we were still close by. The home has lots of character and they even had a working record player. It was fun introducing the kids to the original ways of listening to music. Perfect location to Main Street! Just off the busy roads to be quiet and walking distance to everything. Will definitely recommend and book again in the future.

The property is bigger than the photos show. Clean, well stocked on everything. Hot tub was ideal for long days in Fredricksburg. Walked to just about everything we wanted to do.

The hot tub does not work. What is pictured in the photos is not the hot tub that is advertised. So if this is important to you I would look at other options. The hot tub is dirty, jets do not work and overall in bad condition. Everything else was just ok. I wish the house manager would of reach out to us prior to our stay knowing that the hot tub was not working.

Make sure you have code to enter home. We arrived and realized there was no code in any emails and it took about 45 minutes to get in touch with house manager. A/c seemed not to cool during day but was good at night. Did not get hot while sleeping. After he reached out everything was good.

Loved our stay for thanksgiving! The house was a perfect size for our group of six but four or even two would feel super cozy here. Well equipped lovely kitchen and open floor plan made it perfect for our 2-night stay, and we didn’t even get cabin fever on a rainy couple of days. This vrbo is a perfect spot for a couple who wants to get away for the weekend without any frills. We weren't expecting to be in our vrbo much, so we just wanted a place to sleep and shower. If you are needing a place to: hang your clothes (or a dresser) or a full size kitchen, this is not the place for you. Overall, this is exactly what we needed. It was a clean place, close to Main St. (still fairly quiet from any street noise), and the property manager made sure to contact me before we arrived.

We arrived and it was easy to find! Very clean and cozy. We did walk several times to the shops at Main St and to dinner which was so nice to not have to drive. We would stay again and recommend to friends/ family. A great low price as well for the area ;) I will say we are used to our king bed, so this was a smaller bed but still was fine!

The perfect rental for a quick wine weekend get-a-way. Small, nothing special but it is clean and in a great location to get downtown for evening festivities. Property Manager is great and truly cares about making sure guests have a great stay. Will definitley be staying there again!

This house was just perfect for our ladies trip! It was so lovely and quaint. We loved the layout, the decor, and the whole personality of the home. Great communication with the owner and also enjoyed all the special touches and amenities. The house was so clean and remodeled with such charm. Every one of us said we would come back in a heartbeat. We were able to walk to the area restaurants and shops without even getting in our car. Highly recommend!!

This was a nice newly renovated property with a master suite and two other bedrooms with shared bathroom. The open living space was comfortable for evening relaxing watching Netflix. The small outdoor patio was nice place to chat and have a beverage. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. While we didn’t cook at the property there were plenty of supplies to adequately prepare for any meal. We appreciated the kuerig and the generous pods available for morning coffee. Every process was easy and efficient. We’d definitely rent again from this owner.

This property was fantastic! The quality of the the provided linens etc was wonderful, even quality toilet tissue! The home was very clean and comfortable. One thing I would recommend is to provide large mixing bowls. Other than that, perfect!
