The Space:
This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin is the perfect Tahoe getaway for your group of up to 11. You can’t beat the location of this home, just 4 minutes from Homewood Ski Resort and the beach, the perfect launching pad for year-round fun! Surrounded by trees in a quiet area, the home boasts comfortable furnishings, a mountain home ambiance, and large windows filling the rooms with natural light and views over the surrounding trees.

When you first arrive at the home, you will take 6 steps to reach the entrance up on the front deck. Here you will also find a wood picnic table perfect for enjoying meals al fresco or for having your morning coffee while taking in the views. When you open the front door, you will find the living room to your left and the dining area/kitchen straight ahead. This entire space is filled with a welcoming charm with large windows, exposed wood beams, and a lovely stone hearth fireplace. In the living room, you will find a comfortable reclining sofa, two sofa chairs, and a coffee table situated around the fireplace. The inviting room is a great, dynamic space for your group to socialize in while you warm up by the lovely fireplace and enjoy the views out the windows overlooking the trees. Or, enjoy a cozy movie night on the 50” TV while you snuggle up on the comfortable furnishings.

On the other side of the room is the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. You will have plenty of space to spread out and prepare meals in this beautiful and spacious kitchen! The kitchen features a full range of stainless steel appliances, spacious countertops, a wine fridge, and big windows lining the wall providing views over the surrounding trees. Connected to the kitchen is the dining area where you will find a wooden table with seating for 7 on top of an oversized rug. The table is surrounded by windows, so you can enjoy the lovely views while you dine with your group! From the kitchen, you can step out onto the back deck where you can enjoy the views as you prepare dinner on the BBQ, or relax on one of the patio chairs or built-in wood bench.

When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find three comfortable bedrooms in the home. The first bedroom is located on the main level off the kitchen and features a comfortable queen-size bed, a small dresser, and a closet. A full-size bathroom with a large single-sink vanity and a shower/bathtub combo is conveniently located near the main level bedroom and open living space for shared access.

The two other bedrooms are located on the upper floor where you will find vaulted ceilings with skylights brightening up the entire space. Head into the first bedroom, where you will find a king-size bed tucked next to a large window, so you can wake up and take in the views of the surrounding trees. This bedroom provides ample storage space for your personal items with a dresser and a closet. The second bedroom makes efficient use of its space, providing ample sleeping space with two twin beds, a twin-over-twin bunk bed with a twin trundle, and a queen size futon. This room is the perfect spot for the kids in your group to share, or for families traveling with young children looking to stay in the same room. The spacious bedroom provides plenty of space for everyone to have a comfortable and restful night's sleep! Adding to the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms is a full bathroom that boasts a newly renovated shower stall, a single-sink vanity, and includes a washer and dryer.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, which include a back deck. Guests will also have access to four parking places, with parking available in the circular driveway in front of the home. Guests will also have access to some wonderful shared amenities such as a private beach, a shared pool, and tennis courts.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the beautiful Chamberlands neighborhood, the home is surrounded by a beautiful forested area and is in an excellent location for enjoying everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. In the winter months, you are minutes away from the slopes, with Homewood Ski Resort just a quick 4-minute drive away! Or make a 25-minute drive and be at some of the best slopes in the area, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, Tahoe Ski Resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center are all 25 minutes away. If you are looking for some great XC skiing or snowshoeing, you are just minutes away from the popular trails at Paige Meadows, 15 minutes away.

During the summer months, head to Chambers Landing, a beautiful small beach just a 1.5 mile away where you can spend the day playing in the water and on the lovely sand beach of Lake Tahoe. Before heading home, grab dinner at the popular restaurant and bar located by the beach. Or, head up to Commons Beach, a popular four-acre beach and park less than 15 minutes away. Here you can rent any type of watercraft imaginable, and enjoy great swimming, and BBQ areas. Or, make a quick 5-minute drive up the road to the famous Sunnyside Restaurant and Marina, where you can find great food and watercraft rentals. If you are interested in high alpine hiking, Paige Meadows is only a 14-minute drive up north, where you will find beautiful meadows lined with a vast network of trails that connect you to the Pacific Crest Trail and the Tahoe Rim Trail.

For those in your group looking for a little less outdoor time, Tahoe City is less than a 15-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers markets, and live music. When it comes to a great location for everything Lake Tahoe has to offer, this house cannot be beaten!

Getting Around:
Guests at this home can easily explore all the area has to offer even without a vehicle thanks to the public transportation TART stop that is just a half-mile walk from your front door! A quick ten-minute walk will take you to the TART stop HWY 89 at Chambers Landing which runs every hour. Be in Tahoe City with a 10-minute bus ride and be able to easily connect to other routes taking you around the surrounding areas and to the ski resorts. For those with a vehicle, enjoy the home’s close driving proximity to Tahoe City which is 8 miles away, and even use the FREE park-and-ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City.

Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

Chambers Landing, private pool/beach access. Please return the keycard upon check out. Lost or missing cards will be subject to a $150 guest fee.

Please note, the heated pool opens on June 22, which is the typical opening weekend in mid-June. Beach staffing also begins in mid-June. Sign-up sheets for the tennis courts are available, which remain open until dark, and an access code is required.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
