Absolutely loved this place to stay a little retreat away. Hot tub was amazing and the bed was perfect we haven't slept better! So plush! Such a lovely hidden gem that we will definitely be back to in the future without a doubt! Highly recommend it!!

the property was close to the town and the gardens were beautiful. super close to the freeway so it was easy to commute to places within the adelaide hills
the price didn’t include breakfast. it is around $260 a night plus $40pp per night for breakfast, it was my understanding that b&bs provided breakfast.

Great location, reasonable price

Beautiful outdoor area. The bath was amazing . Comfortable bedding. Peaceful area.
The barbecue was dirty. The shower has a very small door and would be quite difficult for anyone with a larger body to fit into .
The microwave is very high and hard to reach. If you're under 5"4"
The curtains don't fully close in the bedroom letting the light in early(minor niggle)

The bath was absolutely beautiful. The accommodation was really comfortable. We had an amaxing time!

The outdoor bath was amazing. Even though it was cold and wet outside, the bath was so warm, and the heat lamp made it warm when I got out too.
If I had to be picky. The shower is really small for a bigger person. There is nothing else. It was amazing.

The theme and location. Its as stated getting the fine tuning underway. I would have been happy to make suggestions as i operate holiday accom over many years if asked. Good potential to take to the next level in my view for minimal effort but the owners may have that in hand as they settle in to running it over time.

Comfortable environment and fresh air. Nice bed as well, we've a good night rest.
The glass door should have a cloth or whatever to cover, it's a bit scary as we will walk pass the glass door when we need to use toilet in the night.

The complete ambiance of the place was excellent. It provided a peaceful atmosphere inside and out. All the areas were immaculately clean. It would be a pleasure to stay here again and recommend to others.
There was not anything to dislike, however as mentioned in the earlier review a few housekeeping feedbacks for the future:
1. Labels on the outside light switches would be helpful, e.g Festoon Lights.
2. Microwave location was too up high for any mediocre person :)
3. A "with compliments" card would be nice to indicate if wine and the cheese snacks were complimentary.
4. While the streaming programs were excellent , local live TV should also be provided.

Great little retreat in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Japanese themed with a lovely secluded outdoor area and traditional style bath. Small well equipped kitchen allowed us to self-cater. Complimentary wine and platter on arrival was very welcome. Friendly and responsive hosts. The space is charming and comfortable with numerous indoor plants and had everything we needed.

The overall ambience, the greenery, outdoor areas, indoor plants & overall interiors were absolutely amazing!! Whole property was pristine clean, smelled amazing, very very fresh & organic; super relaxing. Loved the host (Wendy) & her veggie patch, her garden and her future plans to turn the whole place into even better place for the visitors.
Not really anything that we didn't like, just a few small things as a general feedback:
1. It would've been nice if windows had flyscreens / mosquito net as the greenery invites small bugs / flies.
2. Microwave location was too up high for any mediocre person :)
3. Main door (back door) must have some type of curtains to maintain the privacy.

It was clean and had some lovely wine and treats waiting for us.
We understood that the property was in the process of being completed however, in our opinion there are essential requirements that were not met for the rate that was charged. The property was difficult to find with no house number or identification signage. When we found the property the exterior and the location didn’t resemble the advertised description.
The accommodation was a converted ‘granny flat’ attached to a 2 story house.
The door code was incorrect and we could not get into our accommodation. We then tried knocking on the door of the attached 2 story house which had a “No Trespassers” sign on the entrance. There wasn’t any response and we tried to contact the property owner by phone, she was out of service range and unavailable.
We were left without communication at arrival time with the incorrect access code. It was at this point we contacted Booking.com Customer Service to refund our payment and cancel the booking.
While waiting on a response we went through the Booking.com stream of emails and found another access code in an earlier email which thankfully worked.
We had arrive at our accommodation after an 8 hour drive, we were looking forward to treating ourselves to what was advertised as a special spot and we decided to stop because we were too tired to find other accommodation although we were disappointed.
The owner did not return our phone call but simply messaged 3hrs later, ‘I’m in very bad coverage’
Inside the accommodation was clean however, the quality of the finish did not meet expectations with rate that was charged. eg Bedside shelf was missing
