I stayed here Easter Weekend 2024 and, up until this point, all of the VRBO rentals that I have stayed in were individual units and townhomes owned by individuals and weren't similar to motels. This is an Inn which is much like a Days Inn or Red Roof Inn. If you're looking for 4 star accommodations, this place is not for you. It was clean and a place to lay your head. I didn't receive my check in instructions until the day of. For someone like me, that was a little unnerving. The walls are thin so be mindful of that.
I had rented a 1 bedroom but something was wrong with the air conditioning so I was moved to an efficiency, which was fine with me. It's very close to various entrances to the beach and restaurants. There are a couple of public parks and the nearby Jerry Thomas Bridge is beautiful to walk on on a clear day. Right outside of where I stayed was public transportation, which is very convenient.
What you should also know is that the community entrance to the beach requires $15 an hour or $60 a day to use the chairs and umbrellas. I didn't know when I went over there, but further down you can set up for free. I asked the property manager about beach towels (mentioned in this listing) but never received a response. You may have to provide your own beach towels or chairs. It would be great if this was included in the rental.

This was the most wonderful location with a beautiful beach a short walk, practically across the street. Unit was very clean. The listing has now been corrected to remove incorrect description of amenities which had indicated availability of a washer and dryer and a grill - however, washer and dryer had a lock on them and the grill was charcoal. Property contact was unresponsive to requests to be directed to the washer and dryer we could use rather than clarifying there was an error in listing. Listing says beach towels are provided but we did not have beach towels and, needing them, had to buy some as contact was unresponsive to requests for more towels. Availability of a washer and dryer for our 11 day stay was part of our reason for selecting this location. While there is a kitchen, it is very sparsely equipped - e.g., there are no hot pads, kitchen towel or sheet pan to use in the oven. We improvised with foil but that created a fire hazard so we abandoned further cooking efforts (did not see a fire extinguisher). We usually do a lot of cooking but could not and would have appreciated having a vacuum and a mop of some kind. There were minimal cleaning materials (just a dust pan and broom). Other than that, I can't say enough good things about the location - so close to the beach, scuba diving at Blue Heron Bridge about a mile away, walking distance to restaurants where you can sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather, great walking neighborhood, felt very safe.

Condo met our needs. It was in a great location and the one suggestion i would make is replace the couch in living area. Very uncomfortable!!
