WE LOVE FAMILIES
For families, we offer games, puzzles, trains, comfy fleece blankets, bath toys, blocks, and bedtime storybooks. Our high chair converts into a child chair and a chair/big kid table. The Pack n' Play with bassinet has an extra cozy memory foam mattress.
After a busy day, sip your favorite beverage on the covered back porch while the kids play in the fully-fenced yard. A door separates the bedrooms from the living room, so you can enjoy a movie on the Roku Smart TV, or unwind by the mini fireplace while the little ones are tucked in. There are two, big playground parks within 3-4 blocks and running trails a half mile from the house.
FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN
The kitchen is ready for you to prepare delicious meals! Comes with 12-piece cookware, baking sheets, blender, coffee maker, French press, electric tea kettle, charcuterie board, toaster, mixer, service for 6, chopsticks, kids' dinnerware, and more! There is no dishwasher, but a sweet view of the grassy backyard when you wash up.
DINING AREA
Your dining table seats 6 for meals, games or planning the day's adventure. (Plus high chair.)
SWEET DREAMS
The bedrooms are suited up with super comfy beds, Egyptian cotton linens, fluffy comforters and duvet covers with extra blankets and pillows for everyone. All nightstand lamps have charging stations. The blackout curtains are great for sleeping in!
THE RELAXING ZONE or SOFA BED
The living room sectional couch accommodates 6 for an evening of movie watching in front of the electric fireplace. Just pop the ottomans in place to turn it into a long, double bed complete with its own linen, pillows, and cozy queen duvet.
SQUEEZE IN SOME WORK
Should you need to tend to business or just check emails, you'll have a work desk with a 3-way/charging desk lamp with USB A&C and DC plugs available for your devices. Also at the ready are pens, pencils, tape, paper clips and scissors to set up shop if needed.
GETTING AROUND
Our house is an 8-block walk to the university and is perfect for getting to Hayward Field events and the Jan Sanders Softball Stadium.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The host went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. There were lots of small touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. I would highly recommend it!

Accessible and responsive host. Cute, clean, and comfortable space. So much better than a hotel/motel.

There is no room for improvement on this home. Everything including the location, outdoor spaces, and especially the house was perfect. Every comfort and convenience, from plush bath towels, to small appliances and tableware, has been considered. The decor is both comfortable and cozy, and you can tell Laura put a lot of thought into it. We definately hope to return in the future.

The property is immaculate—equipped with high-quality furnishings and basic supplies. Laura is easy to communicate with and readily available for issues and questions. The property represents as advertised and served as a perfect getaway for our father/son retreat.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is in a nice safe location, it is well stocked with everything that you need, and is an excellent value. It’s one of the better places that we’ve ever stayed. Our host was wonderful and she made sure that she kept in contact to make sure all our needs were met. I highly recommend the sunshine house, it’s amazing.

We stayed at this lovely place during a visit to see our son who is attending UO. This small cottage packs a punch and has everything you would need. Great location for UO functions, events downtown or parks and trails. Cozy and quiet with a quaint little shopping center within walking distance for coffee/food/snacks. Beds were comfy, linen and towels were soft and kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Our son loved being able to stay with us to get a break from the dorms and have a homecooked meal. Laura made a point to check in regularly to see how things were going or if we needed anything. Love that personal touch. We will stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is one of the best VRBOs! It is perfect in every way. It is spotless and cozy. We loved the location as well. Pictures are exactly as described and host, Laura, is very pleasant. We will definitely stay her again!

This house was great for our family as a home base for our trip to Eugene. We have a 4 month old and 2 year old and the house was safe and well-equipped for them!

My family and I stayed at the Sunshine House during a college tour weekend with our teenage daughter. Every single detail was thought of...throw blankets, AMAZING sheets and pillows, super comfortable beds, fresh towels, a fully socked kitchen with sugar/oil/spices/tea/popcorn etc. but also fully stocked with cooking pans etc. The house was spotless and felt more like we were in a boutique hotel (chocolates left on our pillows!!).
The hosts are gracious and helped us with restaurant recommendations, the most delicious coffee shops, and running trail suggestions. I could go on and on. Truly one of the most inviting and comfortable VRBO experiences we have had. And we have had a lot!
