Got the deluxe suite hoping to relax in the soaking tub but the jets were dirty. Bit of dirt or build up came out of the tub. So couldn't use the tub. This hotel doesn't have a front office. Communication was through text and they responded pretty quickly. The room itself was comfortable and spacious. I really like the electric fireplace. Besides the tub, the only thing that was uncomfortable was the noise. You can hear everything, they did some war plugs for us. This hotel is walking distance to all the restaurants, casinos and shopping areas.

The bed linens we were provided were stained and dirty and they did not have another clean set, so we could not use one of the beds. The location is OK (except for the construction in front), but most of the hotels are within a 5 min walk of the casinos, the lake and the gondola. Customer service sucks. There is only a tiny shower. AC is noisy and is blowing directly towards one of the beds. Floors are thin and you could hear people on the 2nd floor walking around. Keep in mind this is a 2-star hotel and I think the high Expedia rating is misleading. There are 4-star hotels close by for about the same price. Also keep in mind their cancellation policy is not as liberal as most other hotels.

Blue Jay lodge is right in the middle SLT, but off the path enough for a quiet , peaceful sleep. The room was nicely updated, clean and comfortable. The staff was very responsive.

There were no hotel employees on site during our stay. Rooms are 3 feet from the parking lot. The fridge was horrifically noisy as was the air conditioner. ROOM WAS NOISY. Sheets were stiff. Could not check out quick enough.

Basically a recently renovated motel, but clean and comfortable if a bit spartan and very reasonable in price. Staff was very nice and communication was excellent. We were there for a concert at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena, which was steps away as were the casinos in Stateline.

The staff was very friendly at all times, we passed a nice stay, we made use of the BBQ and my daughters enjoyed the pools, which maintains a very pleasant hot temperature after returning from the cold beaches of Tahoe. If you are looking for something familiar and economical you can stay here, do not expect anything lustful but it is more than enough for what you pay 😉

We had a nice stay at Blue Jay Lodge. Our room was nicely remodeled and modern for the price and for a motel stay. We liked that it had a fridge with a freezer and was dog friendly.

I wish I could past some pictures to show the condition was. The whole place is smelly, uncleaned. Room has no ventilation. Toilet bowl was not properly cleaned. You could see spider webs in the corners and dust everywhere. The price was way more than what you get. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Really enjoyed stay here everything went smoothly. All explained in welcome e mail. Room and entry code worked. Also utility room with code provided for any extras. Only 5 minutes from lake and casino hotels

This was an excellent location! The beds were comfy and the rooms were nice and cool. We were within walking distance of many of the amenities we wanted to experience while there, like the shore, shopping, and places to eat. The pool was clean, the perfect temp--my kids loved that it went to 8 feet. My only negative would be that our room was never cleaned during our 3-night stay, but that was not a big deal for us overall. We would totally stay there again.

Great stay from start to finish. Super easy self check-in, since we arrived very late at night. Room was clean, quiet, and the beds were really comfortable. The staff via chat was very responsive and helpful before our stay, and it was great to meet the team in the lobby, who were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed the concept of the hotel. They didnt clean room, but had a closet with supplies if needed. The staff was very helpful and even provided washer and dryer to use for our convenience.

Not one problem with our stay. I am enjoying these re-done motels more and more. Can’t beat the location with Heavenly shopping and food and the casinos within 5 mins (or less) of the Lodge. Comfy beds and convenient smart TV. Shower in our room was tight squeeze and wish I didn’t have to find $5 in quarters to do a load of laundry, but that is just me whining a bit. Would stay again, especially when young 4th of July revellers aren't around.

Self check in and out was very easy. Parking is right downstairs. The unit is newly renovated and very clean. We had all the items we needed in the unit. And the beach is within 10 min walk which is very convinient. We appreciate the complimentary beach entry vouchers, coffee, and streaming services in the TV.

Was absolutely delighted at the staff and the room. My only feedback is the condition of the stairs. Other than that, we will definitely return.
