We have visited this home before and enjoy its location, history and eclectic decor. However, we found no kitchen towels and were provided with bath towels. We asked to come in early but most of the cleaning crew arrived at 3:40 p.m. and left at 4:20 p.m. We had hoped to perhaps get into the property a little earlier. The barbeque was not working and could be a fire issue. A firefighter is part of our family and we discontinued use of the grill and reported it to the management company. We suggest more eating steaks knives as only two were found. Again, we always enjoy this cabin and hope you take our suggestions as helpful. Thank you so much.

The home is charming, the location on the lake was gorgeous and town is right out the backdoor. The four bedrooms were perfect for each couple to have their own space and the bonus bunk room for the kids was great. While the bunk room was rustic, it was cozy, comfortable, and was nice and dark/quiet so the kids even slept in!! Sharing one shower wasn't as hard as we thought it might be. The shower was very nice and water pressure was great! It is clear that the cabin is old, but everything that needed to be "newer" was updated, while still retaining the original "cabin-y" charm. We adored this charm and made lots of family memories! We enjoyed dinners on the patio and lots of time swimming and kayaking in the lake. The homeowners provided lots of amenities in the house: well stocked kitchen, great bedding, lots of extra blankets, beach towels, plenty of bath towels, the list goes on! We spent a lot of time making use of the lake and enjoyed fishing from the dock, but there is no ladder to access the water and it is very hard to climb out onto the dock without one. You have to scramble up rocks or have lots of upper body strength to haul yourself in and out of a kayak/paddleboard to the dock. Our only major issue was with Vacasa and the local support. We reached out for support and received no help with the outdoor trashcans being full when we arrived, which resulted in us having to store our trash indoors.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was perfect for our family grouping of six adults, a five year old and three under 18 months. We never felt cramped or crowded. The extra oven and refrigerator came in handy. We couldn't ask for a better location. Very close to downtown and an easy walk to Point Park. We loved the roof top deck on the boathouse. Having a dock made using our paddle board so convenient.
