Welcome to “The Salty Mermaid” - an idyllic vacation home located in sunny Southwestern Florida offering the luxurious and comfortable Southwest Florida waterfront lifestyle. The home is nestled in one of the most sought-after locations within the waterfront community of South Gulf Cove! This spacious three-bedroom, two-bath retreat is an oasis for Families. Boasting a prime location on a canal with a large dock, it offers fantastic opportunities for fishing and crabbing.
Recently extensively renovated, the home exudes a tropical ambiance, adorned with delightful ocean creatures and mermaid motifs that reflect the owners’ profound love for the sea. Inside, you’ll find an open concept layout, seamlessly connecting the living, dining, and breakfast nook areas to the gourmet kitchen. Equipped with modern appliances, including new ones in the kitchen and laundry room, convenience is at your fingertips.
The Great room offers unobstructed water views from every corner. There is a light beige recliner seat Sectional complete with a Coastal entertainment center and coffee table. The fully stocked kitchen with Granite counters and bar with stools, includes all the essentials for culinary adventures, from cookware and utensils to a Keurig Dual pod and pot coffeemaker, George Foreman indoor grill, Air Fryer, toaster oven, large toaster, Instant Pot, and Crock Pot. There is a formal dining plus a morning nook with aquarium window and open pool views for you to start your day.
The master suite is a serene sanctuary, complete with sliding doors that invite you to gaze out onto the lanai and pool. It is decorated in a beach lovers theme to create the perfect South Florida vibe. From the luxurious king-size adjustable bed, you can watch TV or admire the night landscape lighting through the glass doors. For those who work from home, there’s a dedicated desk space.
The second bedroom, decorated in a relaxing old world Palm Trees and shore bird theme, offers a queen bed and French doors opening onto the lanai, with a TV for entertainment.
The third bedroom delights with its jaunty sea turtle décor. This bedroom sleeps up to four with bunk beds featuring a full bed with a twin over and an additional twin trundle bed. This room also includes its own TV. They both share a bathroom.
The lanai is a true outdoor haven, recently updated with no-seeum screens to keep pesky insects away. It offers two seating areas with deep seating for ultimate comfort. Enjoy movie nights under the stars with the gas fire table and outdoor big screen TV. A shaded portion with a sofa and swivel chairs, equipped with a ceiling fan and hurricane curtain, caters to sunny afternoons. The heated saltwater pool with a playful dolphin fountain, along with rafts and jumbo noodles, ensures endless hours of poolside relaxation. Grill masters will love the well-equipped grill area.
With the lanai facing west, you’ll be treated to breathtaking nightly displays by Mother Nature. A fenced backyard adds safety for kids. Security is a priority, as the home boasts a Smart Lock with personalized codes for each guest. The Nest Smart Thermostat, coupled with solar panels on the roof, keeps things comfortably cool.
