This was our family's third year at this location, and we couldn't be happier. We have stayed in Cape May for 30 consecutive summers, and switched to this property a few years ago, after our previous go-to location changed hands. Matt is an excellent host, and communication with him is uniformly excellent. The unit itself is full of light, and in an excellent location for beach access, shopping, etc. Two off-street parking spaces for this unit are generous. Bedrooms are comfortable and cool, but the main features are the spacious and open kitchen, dining room, and living room. A full kitchen with real counter space, not a "kitchenette," means a family can actually prepare meals comfortably. Dining comfortably seats six (or more), and the living room is open and conversation-friendly. With five beach tags thrown in, there really is nothing else you could want in a Cape May vacation rental. Highly, highly recommended.

Very much liked the home; open concept made it easy to feel part of conversations and have a watchful eye on the kids. Location was convenient to beach, shopping and restaurants. Overall, loved our Thanksgiving holiday in Cape May.

We were in town for a wedding and loved how close the house is to town! We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and large living room/dining space. We would recommend bringing one or two rolls of toilet paper and an extra trash bag as there was only one of each provided (one roll in each bathroom). For a house that sleeps 6, even just one more of each would make a huge difference in guests’ experience. The front room air vent is covered by the bed, so it got very warm in that room at night. We slept with the door open to get some cooler air, but that didn’t leave much privacy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hosts quick responses to our questions.

The house was great for the time we spent at Cape May. check in was great, and we were able to check in a half hour early. We are familiar withbcaoenmay which made the stay even more pleasant. This was ourbfirst time using VRBO. The only annoyance was the footsteps from upstairs starting 6am in the morning . The 2 bathrooms were great since i have 2 sons . The beds were comfortable, beach box was so convenient. 1 thing I would recommend is having. more than. 1 toilet paper roll in the bathroom for the guests ..We had to go out to buy. 2 more for our stay.
We would definitely stay again ...Thank you

As a family we enjoyed the place; plenty of restaurant around, short walk to the mall and beach. The home had plenty of space and wifi was available.
The dark side: when we get there two hours after check in time, the heat was not turned on and it took the whole night for the rooms to get warmed, the blankets and pillow cases were not cleaned. The blue blanket had two big red stains and when I checked the washer machine, it was full of clothes on top of it.

The property was comfortable and clean. We had plenty of room. All you need is food and drinks, everything else is provided.
The home was near the beach, restaurants and Washington street for shopping. It is a beautiful cottage and we can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this property! Perfect place if you want to take your dog on vacation with you. The house was very spacious! It’s right across from a park if you have kids and a couple blocks down is the dog park. You can easily walk to Washington street mall in about 10 minutes and beach front in about 10-15 minutes. There was also a nice outdoor area with table and outdoor shower. My daughter loved the kids books they had at the rental. They also had board games there. Overall it was a great rental and we would definitely return back!!

Very conveniently located & looks just like the photos, super cute! This was my first house rental & it couldn’t have been easier. Good value for the money. My only problem were the inconsiderate people renting the upstairs portion who kept slamming the porch door at 5:30 am to walk their dog, waking us up. So just be aware that it’s a multi-family house with 3 separate doors & shared porch. But still better than a hotel in my opinion.

A great place to stay! We loved the open concept living space and having our own grill in the backyard. Our bedroom was also comfortable and restful. Good space for four adults!

We had a wonderful week at the beach. The house was well-stocked, but not cluttered. It was bigger than I expected and our family of four and two dogs had plenty of room. There was room for our two cars. Walking to restaurants and shops was easy. We walked, biked, and drove to the beach. Walking was a little long, but not terrible and you can usually find a parking space especially if you park up by Madison or Philadelphia. if you've got bikes, I would recommend bringing them. My husband questioned us bringing the kids' bikes, but my tween and teen had a great time biking into downtown and to the beach and we felt safe letting them. The park across the street was great. My kids loved going across the street to play. (They are older kids so the busy street was not an issue, but Lafayette is a busier street than other streets). The dog park is large and clean and right across the street, too. The master bedroom with queen is lovely. The small bedroom off back was quite nice and while slightly warmer than the rest of these house, was not bad like some reviews said (especially with the fan going)... and it was 90's on some days, so I feel like this is about as hot as it will get. The room in the front with the twin beds could use a little attention --- a fresh coat of paint as the baseboards are chipping and the mattresses aren't as comfortable as the other rooms. Overall, the house was very clean. Given other reviews, it seems like the condo would benefit from periodic deep cleans (i.e. inside cabinets, baseboards, behind beds, vacuum filter). It's clear that the cleaning folks do a very thorough job everywhere else. As other reviews noted, there were some (but not tons of) ants. I don't love ant traps on my counters, so I moved them to the kitchen windowsill and this kept the ants away from anywhere but the windowsill and they never got into any food. The backyard is lovely and well-shaded. It would be helpful to know when the lawn company is coming through, as they came through suddenly as we were outside. Although we had no problems, Malisa was very responsive when we contacted her. We emailed to let her know her gutter was clogged (for her benefit, as it had no effect on us as guests) and she sent her handyman out immediately the next morning. It was great to have the beach tags and beach box Overall, it was such a lovely vacation. I had been looking forward to it all year and it did not disappoint.

Our second consecutive year at this property, and both the accommodations and the Owner were outstanding (again). Bright, airy, and lots of sunlight, the unit was more than big enough for our family of five (ages 18-61) plus one very particular corgi. Fabulous kitchen with room to cook, unlike many vacation rentals where this is an issue. Dining area for sit-down family eating, and for puzzles, board games, occasional office work, etc. Three comfortable bedrooms, two full bathroom/shower rooms. But the light - brilliant sunlight in the Living areas made very day a joy to spend there. Easy access to beach and shopping, generous off-street parking. All in all, couldn't say enough about the rental, and about the Owner, who checked in with us via email and made everything so easy. We've been staying in Cape May for almost thirty consecutive years, but will schedule our stays around this property's availability from now on.

Stayed here for a long weekend for an event in Lower Township. The property is conveniently located to the beach/ downtown Cape May, everything was walkable. The interior was clean with cheerful/ beachy decor, the kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook at the house, and the communal spaces were large so everyone could spread out. Instructions for check-in/out were clearly laid out and the process was very simple.

The condo is exactly as described - great location, sunny, beachy decor, lots of amenities. Rooms were generally really comfy! We were stuck inside much of the weekend due to weather and never felt cabin fevery thanks to the books, games, and spacious living spaces. Really clear check-out directions, which was very appreciated. Really happy with the rental!
