Our room was clean and ready early. We loved the double bunks for our kids. The hotel is in a great spot-we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The beach chair and umbrella service was great too.

The place is clean and the renovations are very nice. The parking needs some improvement. I get the idea of valet but hard to find a worker. Also… very disappointed as i reserved a patio room. When i got there i had been moved to second floor. They told me there was a maintenance issue… however there was someone in all the rooms. My daughter and i were looking forward to game night on the patio. I’ve never had this happen in all my years of staying here and Congress hall so a call ahead would have been appreciated if you over booked those rooms

Service was amazing. They text you the day of your reservation and offer free beach tags and beach service (chairs, umbrella setup, etc) before check -in. Our room was also ready a little before check -in. Room was clean and spacious. Doors were a bit sticky but I think this is common in beach homes/hotels. Pool was clean. Grounds were beautifully kept. I would easily stay again.

We booked this property on Friday morning and they had one room available for what we wanted on Saturday. We had the best weekend that we’ve had in a very long time. I had never been to Cape May so I didn’t really know what I was in store for. I was so happy to hear that after this year they will continue to be open past Labor Day. It was slow as we visited in October. But the stay was great, great location and great view of the ocean. The pool is heated! Wish we would have known that prior to arriving to come prepared with swim wear. We plan to return on the future and would recommend this place for sure!

The Beach Shack was a fantastic place to stay. Everyone was very help professional. The Hotel was immaculately clean. The room very comfortable. Attached to the hotel is the Rusty Nail. Great place to enjoy dinner , a drink and chill out by fire. Will be staying again real soon!

The staff were super friendly, our room was cleaned wonderfully every day with new towels and the property was always clean and neat. The restaurant next to the resort, The Rusty Nail, was great. Good food and pretty outside area.
