About this house rental
This traditional 3-storey Georgian townhouse sleeps up to six guests across three cosy double bedrooms, each of which with storage space for clothes and personal belongings. Complementary hand and bath towels are also provided for each guest. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and overhead shower making it perfect for relaxing.
The living area has a snug feel with two cosy sofas and smart TV, feel free to login to your favourite streaming platforms and get comfortable. This house has maintained a number of period style features including 18th century style windows, patterned coving and patterned fireplace.
Although this house feels authentic in its layout, it also contains a more modern style of kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, crockery, a kettle, toaster, microwave and basic pantry items such as oil, salt and pepper. Additional kitchen amenities include an oven, hob, refrigerator, freezer and washing machine. The kitchen also has french doors which allow for access to a small yard space.
Upon check-in, our guests are provided with washing pods, products to wash up with and a bottle of sparkling wine. These provisions allow you to make full use of the ameneities!
Situated close to Whitehaven’s town centre, this house is an ideal location for those looking to enjoy the offerings of Whitehaven and Cumbria. Whitehaven has a number of local pubs and restaurants around the town centre and historic harbour. This house also has a nearby convenience store allowing you to easily get hold of essential items.
Whitehaven is approximately 27 miles from Keswick in the Northwest Lake District and 48 miles from Windermere and the South Lake District making it a great base for exploring the beautiful Lake District. Although this property is ideal for holiday makers, it would also suit those in the area for work with local transport links to West Cumberland Hospital, Sellafield and Westlakes Science Park.
Unfortunately this house does not have a private parking area. However, there are a number of pay and display car parks nearby, the details of which can be provided by your hosts. There are also a number of local disc zones, more information on disc zones can also be provided by your hosts.
