Located in the stately Milton apartment building, these recently refurbished second-floor apartments are in the desirable and walkable Elizabeth neighborhood. Large double-hung windows let in an abundance of natural light in all rooms. Each residence showcases artwork by local artist Nico Amortigui; he is well-known for large-scale paintings and installations throughout NC and The Smithsonian.

Kick back, relax, and enjoy our complimentary snacks and beverages.

In the spacious living room, upholstered furniture provides comfortable seating, a large flat-screen television provides entertainment with both streaming and Hulu Live, and a desk. Ultra-fast Wi-Fi enables business travelers to stay plugged into their busy schedules.

The recently renovated kitchen features quartz counters and stainless appliances and is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The adjacent dining room comfortably seats four and has all the place settings.

Each unit has a bedroom with a king-sized bed with a flatscreen television, and a generous closet (including plenty of clothes hangers, an iron, and an ironing board). The second bedroom (in two of the four units) has a comfortable double bed.
The bathroom has modern bath fixtures and tiled walls and floor. Included in our amenity package are Nest toiletries.
Each unit has an in-unit washer and dryer and a starter supply of detergent. Ample storage in the apartment makes it ideal for long-term guests.

Located in historic Elizabeth, our residence is conveniently located a few steps from Hawthorne Avenue, the heart of Charlotte’s healthcare district. Plaza Midwood and Upton are a short ride away on the streetcar.

This incredibly safe community provides an ideal place for walking or jogging, and you are just a short stroll to Charlotte’s most vibrant nightlife.

Within a half-mile walking distance are more than locally owned 40 restaurants (Italian, Mexican, Cajun, and Mediterranean). For breakfast, walk past Starbucks and try Central Coffee or Villani’s Bakery. Our favorite full-service spots include Customshop (local cuisine), Cajun Queen (Louisiana soul food) and Intermezzo (Italian). If you are looking for local gems, check out The People Market, Menya Durama (Ramen), and Moo & Brew (burgers). My favorite BBQ joint is Midwood Smokehouse (but this is a touchy subject at the crossroads of BBQ). Have a beer at Legion Brewery, a drink at the infamous Thirsty Beaver (Mick Jagger’s favorite spot), or a cocktail at the Crunkleton.

On the ‘Plaza Piazza,’ you will find many locally owned shops including antiques, fine gifts, wines, and bespoke clothing for men and women. Elizabeth is also a neighborhood with a vibrant nightlife. If you’re looking for an exciting place to stay in Charlotte, you’ve come to the right place.

Just down the street is Independence Park, Charlotte’s oldest park. This newly renovated park has miles of wide sidewalks, towering trees, a playground, picnic areas, and garden respites.

We love hosting guests for both short- and long-term stays. So, whether you are here for business, pleasure, or visiting someone, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay.

A workstation is available for rent during your stay. This includes two 32” monitors, a wireless keyboard, and a mouse.

Established in 1897, Elizabeth is the second oldest streetcar suburb in Charlotte. Given its close proximity to Upton, Elizabeth became one of the most fashionable residential areas in Charlotte in its early days.

Because much of the neighborhood was developed in the early 20th century, Elizabeth's trees have had time to mature. They now form a canopy over most of Elizabeth's residential streets. In addition, Elizabeth is more pedestrian-friendly than most Charlotte neighborhoods, businesses and residences are in close proximity, and most roads have sidewalks.

One of the many advantages of staying in Elizabeth is its unbeatable location. Situated just minutes away from Uptown Charlotte, you'll have easy access to the city's top attractions, cultural landmarks, and exciting entertainment options. Whether you're catching a game at Bank of America Stadium, immersing yourself in art at the Mint Museum, or exploring the vibrant nightlife of the city center, everything is within reach.

Retreat to your delightful accommodation, where comfort and style blend seamlessly. Unwind in the cozy living space, prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoy a glass of wine on the private patio. Designed with your comfort in mind, your stay offers a tranquil oasis to recharge after a day of exploration.

Experience the captivating allure of Elizabeth, where history meets modernity and where the city's energy intertwines with a sense of tranquility. Book your stay now and discover the unforgettable experiences that await you in this charming neighborhood in the heart of Charlotte.

Getting Around:
The streetcar to Uptown is a 5 minute walk away. Uber/Lyft are also convenient options, and many bikeshare companies offer inexpensive bikes and scooters.

Other Things to Note:

The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
