About this house rental
Welcome to Orr's Overlook!
This classic New Englander is located at the southern tip of Orr's Island-a rustic yet renovated getaway in a perfect location. Whether you want to relax while taking in the stunning views, get out on the water, walk to nearby cafes and restaurants or go get ice cream, you can do it all at Orr's Overlook.
The space:
Come enjoy comfort, convenience and ocean breezes in a newly renovated kitchen, where you can dine in the breakfast nook, the kitchen island or outside on the new side deck. With an open dining/living area, bathrooms on both floors (half bath downstairs and full bath with a large walk-in shower upstairs) and three bedrooms upstairs (two queen beds and 2 twin beds) there is plenty of room to spread out. Orr's also has all new floors throughout the house (brand new furniture is yet to come) and a wrap-around yard making it a great spot for a romantic getaway or a small family gathering right on Harpswell's amazing coastline.
Looking for some peace and quiet? Grab your cup of coffee or cocktail and walk through the detached garage up onto Orr's Overlook's viewing deck. From here you can see sunrises and sunsets, spot sea birds and wildlife on the near-by islands or watch as the lobster boats work the coves. Want to see the world famous Cribstone Bridge up close? Just stroll down the road or grab the kayaks (provided by the house) and launch them within feet from the bridge.
You are also within walking distance to many local amenities such as The Salt Cod Cafe and H20 Outfitters Sea Kayak Adventures (0.1 miles), The Island Candy Company (0.4 miles), Cooks Lobster House (1 mile) and Sundrenched restaurants (0.4 miles). Need groceries? You can head back into Brunswick for those or there is a small general store on Bailey Island, called BIGS, a little over a mile away.
Whatever it is you decide to do Orr's Overlook is perfect for you! BOOK TODAY!
Please note: Fireplace is NOT for tenants use! Kayaks and bicycles are to be used at tenants risk!
