TWO refrigerators with ice makers, washer dryer, garbage disposal, 2 dishwashers, and covered and open decks. The Beach Castle also features outdoor showers, a picnic table, a huge sundeck, and even a full sized pool!
Located on Fort Morgan, Beach Castle is close to many restaurants, golf courses, and other things to do, feels away from it all (but is only a short drive to all the hubbub on Gulf Shores itself), and is often a more cost-efficient choice for those who seek something a little more laid back. Plus, as an added bonus, our Fort Morgan vacation homes are not currently subject to the same restrictions on setting up umbrellas and other amenities overnight as those in Gulf Shores itself.
TWO REFRIGERATORS
Two? Per side? Yes two. Because you won't want to stay somewhere without an extra fridge once you have had them.
POOL
Big. Private to the two sides of the duplex: no sharing with other places nearby. The pool is open all year. It's big! 30x15x3-5'! Rectangle. Lounge chairs are provided around the pool.
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
PARKING
There is available onsite, offstreet, parking for at least 6 midsize vehicles (per side), more if you stack well. In duplex units, please be neighborly about this.
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, GRILLS ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have both drip coffee makers and Keurigs as well.
PETS
We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends at many locations. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Approval in a duplex location, especially for peak weeks, generally is only available for guests renting both sides of the duplex. Please inquire.
No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

Our stay in your beautiful home was wonderful. The pool was fantastic as well. We had no problems. Had BOTH the east and west sides. Plenty of room for everyone. We have rented large houses in the Gulf Shores area before but by far this one was the best. Everyone had a great time. Thank you so much.

We used the pool a lot with small children and higher than normal tides. That is a bummer for me as I want to be right in the ocean every day! I did get in a couple days. We absolutely loved the Beach Castle. The kids loved the pool & so did the parents & grandparents with the high seas. Thanks so much!

The unit had black mold in the primary bath and closet which made my daughter and son in law sick. Management did not handle this with care and i can not get them to email me back to address the issues thatvwe had. I would like to discuss this with someone.

Beach Castle West was absolutely fabulous. The living area felt much more spacious than we were expecting, especially after staying at summertide the previous year.
The separate floor HVAC setup was pretty fantastic too.
One thing we always look for is closet space (lots of pack n plays and naps happening at our stage of life) and several of the rooms had plentiful space to hold the kiddos.

Perfect in every way, Beach Castle has served our family well on several occasions. It's difficult to find a large house, 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, as reasonably priced as Beach Castle. For one week out of the year, this terrific home becomes a place where we make our most treasured family memories. Located at Fort Morgan area, we enjoy a quieter less crowded beach with decent fishing opportunity. The pool is clean and cool with plenty of lounge chairs situated all around the patio. Inside, the house has adequate space for large groups. Kitchen is well-appointed and stocked with cookware, 2 refrigerators, and 2 dishwashers. Bedrooms have nice linens and tv's. We especially enjoyed the large porch area off the living room and the balconies, both overlooking the amazing view of the ocean! There is a lot of positive things to share about Beach Castle, but the best part is their management company. Helpful and supportive, in a more personal way than we have ever experienced before, I would highly recommend booking with BamaBeachHouses!

We love Beach Castle West. The new washer and dryer are like awesome, the best, my sister wants a set- thank you. Although a duplex you really do not feel like it is. I have been so grateful for the maintenance responses. Although not sure it would be warm enough- a few brave souls have loved the pool and it does look lovely. The beach and ocean are the star here. I would like to discuss rental for next February. We celebrated my Mom's 98 th in style and hope to be able to celebrate her 99 th at the beach. I have not looked at the dates yet and we can be a bit flexible. I just want to end with how much we have enjoyed each his home. Love the pictures, the flexibility of the rooms, the beds sleep well, sheets are good and well stocked kitchen for cooking. The 2 dishwashers are amazing to have. Thanks for letting us use this lovely Beach paradise.

We had a great family vacation in Fort Morgan! The house was perfect for our needs. We do not have a return time set yet but I will definitely reach out when/if we decide to do this again.
We were able to get ALL of our kids and grandkids together when we stayed in Fort Morgan at Beach Castle (the west side). I am very thankful for the memories that we made. We had a gender reveal the first night! We have a granddaughter due in Nov!! This will make our 9th grandchild :) Time spent together with family makes my heart so full!
Again, the house is beautiful and it fit our family of 22 like a glove. We made great memories and we enjoyed every minute if it. Thank you for sharing it with us!

We've stayed in several of Rick and Susan's places. Beach Castle was the biggest. We liked the seclusion a little more than the SeaRae, which is right in the hubbub of Gulf Shores, by Hangout, though we still think our favorite is Dancing Dolphin, but its smaller. We would definitely come back to Beach Castle though for its "away from it all" vibe! Everything was in great shape for our trip too, no issues at all. Had to call the management company, BamaBeachHouses, for a coffee maker that stopped working, and they brought one of same day!

Beach Castle was the perfect setup for my family, and Bama Beach Houses was extremely helpful throughout booking, even letting us modify our payment plan throughout the year which helped more than you can understand. Everything was wonderful this year except that the flew by so fast! There were 33 of us again this year between the East and West sides. A few from last year couldn't make it, but we also added a couple of new ones. The sand and the water were sooo clean and clear. And comparing it to SGI were we spent 10 summers, we've all decided that you all have the best beach by far! We are already set up to return next summer. This is all of ours favorite week of the year and are counting the sleeps until next summer. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

There was an issue with a leak in the home, and the owners went over and above in order to be sure we were okay and that it did not disrupt us. My family and I stayed on the West side of the house and friends stayed on the East. The location was great, the house was right on the water, which gave us amazing views and were even able to watch the dolphins in the morning. Having the pool at the house was also great for days we couldn't get to the beach (windy and cloudy days). The house was clean with only some minor issues that were taken care of right away when we called. There were a lot of us on the trip and with the house being so huge, we never felt crowded or cramped. Would definitely recommend and would love to return again someday!
