We recently stayed at an apartment on 150 Huntington Ave. in Boston, and the location was fantastic. We walked to a Red Sox game and had easy access to Newbury Street and the Prudential subway stop, just 6 minutes away. The building has a bit of a college dorm vibe, likely due to the number of students living there, which may not be everyone’s preference but didn’t detract from our stay.
The gym was decent, with plenty of equipment, and the rooftop pool in the other tower offered a great view of the city. A laundry card was provided, allowing us to do laundry on-site for free, which was a nice perk. However, only having one key for entry into the building and room was a bit inconvenient for our group.
We noticed a funky odor in the hallway, but thankfully it didn’t reach the apartment itself. Parking wasn’t included, but that wasn’t an issue as we relied on the subway, Uber, and walking to get around. Thornton’s restaurant in the building served excellent breakfast foods. We didn’t see any signs of rodents, which is notable for such a large complex in a big city. Overall, we felt safe exploring Boston, and the convenient subway access made getting around easy.

They only give you 1 key. With 4 adults and 2 kids it’s very inconvenient when you’re not all staying together all day. The condo sleeps 6 but your only allowed 4 guests at the pool. There is a parking garage in the basement for resident that you’re not allowed to use. Instead they make you use the public garages which will average $50 a night. The oven has not been cleaned in a long time. There’s no pans to cook on. They should keep it to college students and not families.

The apartment's location was excellent. The place itself is shabby and did not meet expectations. One of the shower curtains fell off after using the shower and we discovered a mouse on our second night in the apartment. The owner first tried to blame us for the mouse and was slow to have it taken care of.
Not sure we would stay here again, despite the location, especially given the cost.
