Oasis' location was extremely convenient to the attraction I was in Boston to see. Many of the other guests were there for the sake of walkable sightseeing, and we were all quite satisfied with this. As it turned out, there was a wide variety of eateries nearby, too, and I enjoyed taking advantage of that. Breakfast, though without any actual hot dishes, was nevertheless delicious; the coffee was especially good.
I stayed in an en-suite room and although it was mostly very accommodating, the narrow shower was a bit uncomfortable. On my first morning, the chirping of house sparrows prevented sleep much past sunrise. Afterward, I ran a white-noise recording on my phone which drowned out the birds. The tables for breakfast are only coffee-table height.

Great location, friendly staff, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is basic but enough to get you going, it's quiet at night, and there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, and stores nearby.
An extra blanket would have been great, they do have internal heaters but I got cold.

Quarto limpo, confortável. Ótimo breakfast.
Ter escadas p subir com malas; mas praticamente só um lance.

Excellent location, short walk to where she needed to come & go from. Pleasant & helpful staff, clean & comfortable room. Breakfast included.
Only if you a light, late sleeper, this particular room was just off the kitchen area and not well sound blocked. Didn’t bother us at all.

Perfectly located in the heart of Berklee but on a quiet side street within walking distance of The museums. Immaculately clean, quiet and very comfortable.
Just as others have noted, no blackout drapes and there's a porch light just outside that is quite bright. I was fine as I'm accustomed to eye masks, so it meant nothing to me.

Excellent place to stay. Great location and friendly host. We will be back!

The location was perfect near at museum, fun resteraunts and prudential center. Delicious breakfast with living room to eat in and meet other guests.
The room was extremely small for the price. The decor was brown and dull.
New bathroom but extremely small.

Great value for the locations. staff very accommodating for early arrival and late departures. Clean and comfortable.
4.0
Simple but confortable rooms, staff was supper friendly and amicable, breakfast was ok. Location is just perfect for anyone running Boston marathon (walking distance from bus for departure and finishing line). Recommend without hesitation to anyone who wants to attend the marathon and does not want to pay the excessive prices of the hotels.
Bathroom could use a refurbishment, shows some signs of age.

The location was good for a number of restaurants and subway stations, and the price, although expensive, was affordable by Boston standards.
Staff were helpful when asked questions, but could have been more welcoming and approachable overall.

The breakfast was great. The staff was welcoming.

We were 2 couples & our friends + my husband were happy with most things. The location was excellent despite roadworks outside the window (which we'd been forewarned about). Our friends were happy with their room despite garbage cans being dumped in for several hours on Friday a.m. early.
Our room needed a bit of TLC but was very suitable.
I can't comment on breakfast as my husband and I eat a keto diet but the coffee was delicious. We'd prefer real cream for our coffee to save the planet from all the plastic in the mini thimbles.
We did see folk enjoying the pastries.
I will take up my detailed issues directly with the B&B's proprietors but know this:
●No warm and friendly welcome as one would expect at a B&B just criticisms;
● Too many rules to adhere to - all of which came embedded in a barrage of e-mails prefaced with our booking details so we looked no further OR appeared in tiny writing on the back of the bedroom door where emergency procedures are usually located and therefore got over-looked. Then we got treated with militant derision when we did not know. (Ie: too much luggage (not) and staying up too late (quietly) in the living room).
This is a potentially fabulous, cost friendly location with so much going for it but I suspect the proprietors / owners either don't want repeat business or need some fresh blood to remind them that B&B's are traditionally warm, friendly, hospitable environments.
I could be biased because my husband was treated completely differently to me. Not sure what I did wrong - was it my accent?
The proprietors have been in business 40+ years. I've been traveling extensively for 50+ years, and this was the most disappointing B&B I've stayed in based solely on the proprietors' attitudes.
I also have 3 rental properties of my own & would never treat a paying guest like I / we were treated.

The location was perfect. Realized we had booked same weekend as college kids were moving in, but even with all of that, everything we did in Boston area went smooth.

This property is ideally located near the Fenway area and Back Bay. It was very walkable and super close to several subway stations so was extremely convenient.
Light continental breakfast is also included in the stay and was exactly what we needed.
Staff was so friendly and accommodating, and even let us borrow an umbrella on a particularly rainy evening! Such a nice touch.
Rooms were very clean and had the basic essentials. We had a room with an en-suite bathroom and loved having that.
Room was a little small, but we expected this in Boston.

Location was great for Fenway, dinning, and walking around. As an older couple from a small town we felt very safe, and we were able to walk miles visiting historic Boston. Very clean with an excellent continental breakfast.
Construction made it difficult to get to but that should end soon.

Breakfast was good. Its proximity to the points of attraction is a big bonus

A great location for going to a baseball game at Fenway Park. We walked in it took us about 12 minutes.
4.5
It was quiet and clean and very conveniently located for the activities I had planned. I was there to attend the Boston Early Music Festival and most of the performances were at Jordan Hall, a 9 minute walk. Being right next to Berklee School of Music made the area seem even safer because there were campus police around. Every night I was walking back from concerts that ended between 11:30 and 12 and I never felt unsafe. The staff was very accommodating about storing my luggage for awhile after I checked out.
I though the price was pretty steep for the modest accommodations but it’s Boston and everything else was between $300 and $600 a night not including taxes and fees.

Not only a very charming brownstone house in a quiet area with public transport, restaurants, supermarkets and back bay in walking distance but also very nice and helpful staff! They helped with luggage, umbrella's and at check in we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade of our room which we greatly appreciated. The room itself was cozy and clean and the bed very comfortable. 10/10 recommend for a pleasant stay in Boston

Location was great. Close to downtown but in a quiet street. The room was little but had all that was needed. Bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby! Breakfast was great and complete.

The breakfast was excellent and healthy having both fruits and bread and oatmeal included. Easy walking distance from back bay area and even museum of fine arts. Nice neighbourhood and really friendly staff!
Some noise from the backyard on mornings when probably house maintenance or carbage collectors were doing their job. However did not trouble too much.

The property was amazing in the best location!
There was nothing that I did not like!

Perfect location, friendly welcome and useful hardware shop and pharmacy close by, plus a list of lovely restaurants within walking distance. A quaint aspect to the building. Logan Back Bay bus from the airport is a free convenient service, with a stop just 600 yds from Oasis; it can take within 30 minutes to an hour depending upon traffic.
The stairs weren’t a problem for me, others might prefer the convenience of a lift. A soap dish and a loo brush would be useful additions to the clean and tidy bathroom.

Staff was exceptional and the continental breakfast was one of the nicest I have ever experienced.

I stayed here for 4 nights for the Boston marathon. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Only 15-20mins walk from the expo and finish line area. Everything I needed was close by including places to eat, shop and the Wholefoods market. The room was very comfortable, nice en-suite bathroom, very quiet at night. The communal lounge area downstairs was perfect for grabbing a cup of tea or breakfast in the morning, and served as a nice space to meet up with other runners who were staying here too. There is also a fridge to store food or drinks if need be. I will most definitely choose to stay here next year when I come back for the marathon!
There were only two very small tubes of shampoo and no shower gel in the bathroom, I went and bought extra.
The temperature of the room was quite a bit warmer than I'd like, although luckily there is a fan in the room.
