Our family of 13 enjoyed the house and especially the pools. The hot tub didn't work. I was promised a refund of $250 but have not received it. Please send to my home address and we will part most positively. Your evaluation numbers would improve.

Location and beach access is great. Parking is an issue if you have multiple cars. The house needs to be updated. The kitchen also needs to be restocked with pots, pans and utensils. The common areas are great for a large family.

House was big enough for our family of 13. It was great having the option of two pools. The one on the top floor was beautiful and convenient before and after meals. Easy walk to the beach. Keeping the ducks out of the downstairs pool was a challenge but staff addressed the issue and pool was cleaned every morning. Overall, everything was just wonderful.

Reviewer Comments:
This house is great for a large group. It has plenty of room with the 6 bedrooms and 5 and 1/2 baths. The bottom floor has a 5 of the 6 bedrooms and the top floor has 1 bedroom and the living area/kitchen. So, be prepared to climb the stairs a lot. The pool filter on the top deck and the fire pit didn’t work and didn’t get fixed during our stay. We would have enjoyed using the fire pit, as the last few days of our vacation were cold. We were told at check in it would be fixed by Tuesday, but it wasn’t. Outside pool has a leak and there were issues w it not staying full/overflowing. Maintenance came fairly quickly when called. We also had an issue w ants in the kitchen. They came and sprayed, but we still couldn’t leave anything on the counter. Neighbors closet to the beach are not nice and would probably keep me from renting again. Beware if you have a group w kids that maybe loud. For an older crowd, this shouldn’t be an issue. Overall, house is great. Owner just needs to fix pools and fire pit.

Reviewer Comments:
We picked Marlin and Mermaids for the room it offered and the proximity to the beach. We also choose this home as it had a hot tub and pool, something very important to us with all the children that were with us.Unfortunately there were issues with the hot tub and no heat in the pool until the last day. This is the main reason we'd chosen this home. The home itself offered enough room for our family and was set up nicely. It was close to many restaurants and the beach. The property managers were very quick to respond to issues, although the service men were unable to correct the issues (pool and hot tub)until our last day.We did enjoy our stay but were disappointed about the situations listed.

Reviewer Comments:
The house location and size were great and fit our needs as a large family great. The dining area was wonderful for our large Thanksgiving dinner. The sofa on the top floor was a disappointment as the sofa bed underneath was not bolted up and so you could only sit on one end with out the cushions falling through. The other main complaint from my family was that the home listed a hot tub, and there was no heat in it. We called several times and was told that since it was heated by a heat pump that it would be a little cooler than what we were used too, however it never got above ice water temperature, so it was not usable at all. House was clean and beds were very comfortable.

Reviewer Comments:
We have rented vacation homes for 50 years along the Carolina coast; and I will say we picked wrong this year. This has to be the worse designed house we’ve stayed in from the beginning. The main floor is on top, and with the exception of one, all the bedrooms are on the bottom floor. To get up to the main level of the house you have to traverse 2 long sets of stairs. The unit was not clean when we arrived; kitchen was bad with food chunks in the cabinets, mold on the kitchen faucet, and a dirty refrigerator. We had several things to break or already broken during our stay including: a toilet, kitchen disposal, and microwave. Housekeeping and maintenance were very responsive to our needs and did resolve the issues promptly. No access or view of the backyard pool from within the house; except up and down those long stairs. The hot tub was a nice feature of the pool and enjoyed by many in our group. Nice views of the marsh from the front deck! We will pass on this one for any future stays.

I was very pleased with the overall condition of the house and the amenities. Loved the fact that it had queen or king size beds in all the rooms. Makes it great for a getaway with a group of adults. Only minor complaints, the headboards on the beds were dusty, could have use a couple more pots/pans for cooking. Other than that we had a great time. Glad we booked this house for our stay.

Reviewer Comments:
The house itself was very spacious and clean upon arrival. The location, layout of the house, and the size of the rooms were great. The pool and hot tub on the other hand were not working properly, very dirty, and low on water. We called 2-3x day 1 to report the pool and hot tub were not working properly. They assured us someone would come out and fix it. Day 2 someone came out and somewhat tried to fix it but was not successful and didn’t really seem to care. Day 3 the pool company just happened to stop by again and we told them again the pool was not working properly. Unfortunately, this went on for all 5 days. Of course we chose this house and spent more money because of young kids and having the pool and hot tub there at the house but it never worked properly. Very disappointed that no one seemed to care.

Home was exactly as described with quick walk to beach access. House is great for large families. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, especially the hot tub. We liked the close proximity to Murrells Inlet, with many restaurants to choose from, and the easy drive to Myrtle Beach for other attractions.
