The fenced in yard was great for pets and kids, we had a wonderful time. The house is so roomy, very enjoyable.

We enjoyed this house for our big group. We didn't however have hot water the first night and the water heater wasn't big enough for 11 people. We had to take short showers and time them out across a few hours for everyone to have enough. The small full futon bed isn't in a room but rather in the hallway upstairs. The host was great but with the cold weather the lack of hot water was inconvenient. House should be advertised for less people.

The location is perfect and close to skiing and town. There is plenty of room. Our only complaint was the house was really cold, the heater never really got the house warm. And the water heater is just not big enough for the size house. Otherwise the furniture is comfortable and the location is great.

We visited Red River for a family reunion in July. The house was spacious enough to accommodate our large group. The beds were a little on the hard side, but the linens were clean and fresh. The living room was SO comfortable with enough seating for all of us. The kitchen could definitely use some updating and restocking of essential spices, etc., as well as some newer pans, although the several baking dishes were a wonderful touch. The younger kids loved the play set out back!

The property was nice and big enough for the 10 of us. The beds were good and the furniture nice. Kitchen was large enough for our group. Our MAJOR problem was the heating unit. We had read in reviews that it was hot upstairs and cold down. I had been told that had been corrected. However, it was still hot in some rooms upstairs. Opening a window was helpful as was turning the thermostat down to 50 or so at night. Unfortunately, in the morning it was very cold downstairs. The wood burning stove warmed the bottom up fairly quickly. Our big problem was the noise the heater made. We had no idea that the downstairs bedroom would be so loud when the unit came on, which was just a few seconds after it would cut off, that it would be impossible to sleep. Two of the upstairs bedrooms were situated directly above the heating unit in the garage and it was also really loud when the unit would turn on. That was very disappointing as we had no idea how loud it would be. The master bedroom was the only one of 4 that was quiet. The Futon was super uncomfortable as it had a metal rod that ran the width and was impossible to sleep on. Only one of the garage doors opened and there was no DVD player as advertised. However, the property manager came and fixed the garage door so it could be manually opened and brought a DVD player. Light switch in dining room was broken but we did manage to make it work regardless. I will say that the hot water was super hot. The property manager did turn that down but it was still too hot. Just beware if you stay there and have small children. I hate to leave such a bad review because the house itself was really nice. The heater just made it impossible for most to get a good night's sleep.

This place was a great location with plenty of room for 3 families w small kids. The play set in the back yard was perfect for the littles. The kitchen was great to cook in. Pics are very accurate. The only drawback is the heat gets extremely hot upstairs and leaves the downstairs cold. You can build a fire in the fireplace or use the space heater provided. We would stay there again.

As a reviewer, it is not often that places, spaces, and people live up to all the hype. Sometimes, there are places, spaces, and people that may not look all that, but they end up being the bomb! Well, this place was the later. It was an awesome open space. Cozy. Location was great, and had some added bells and whistles for the kids.
There was a couple things that needed some attention, like the fire place being full of ashes and the ash bucket full, and the range was a bit outdated and tricky to work. However, those things didn't stop us from having a good time and relaxing like it was our own.
The location was awesome. Not in the middle of town, but on the periphery and quiet!
For those with families, this is a good property. It is in a quiet neighborhood, not to much traffic, and enclosed yard. We would love to return!

Good stay, sheets left in washer, so I rewashed them folded and left in laundry room. Started to smell sour... had fun the kids enjoyed the swing!

When we arrived there was no one at the office. Figured out we were an hour early for check in but the app was saying it was time. Maybe because of us coming from a different time zone. Called the on call number and the lady was there to check us in, in about 5 mins. Told us at check in there would be someone out to mow the property that day. When we arrived the yard was horribly overgrown. We selected this property because of the yard and playground. The people showed up a few hours later and took care of the yard work. Great cabin and location. The owner needs to take more pride in the yard as it is covered in weeds. Just moving them down will not take care of them.
