Guests have full and private access to all parts of the home. There is only one house on the property.
Other things to note
We are located on PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), which does have a lot of cars driving by most of the day. The house is well-insulated and usually the ocean is louder than the road noise, but there are some parts of the house where you will hear cars, such as when you enter and as in bedroom #3/office.
Please note there is no luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. If you'd like early check-in, make sure to request it in advance. In most cases we cannot offer it, but we will be happy to let you know in case it is possible (though we may not be able to let you know either way until the morning of check-in in many cases). It is EXTREMELY rare that we can offer late checkout, but if you request it in advance as well we will let you know if it's possible. Requests the morning of for late checkout are not possible due to the need to schedule our cleaners in advance.
Guests are solely responsible to check themselves for personal items and remove them before check-out. If any items left behind are found, we take NO responsibility for their safekeeping in any way. As a courtesy, found items may be arranged to be picked up in Santa Monica at a time that is possible based on our availability; we do not mail forgotten items nor take any responsibility for their storage, transport, nor condition at any time, even if we agree to arrange for pickup.

Great place to stay in Malibu. Property manager and owner were very responsive.

I don't like gatekeeping so will write a review, but if J could stay here forever I would! Newly remodeled house, everything was through fully created and taken care of by. Clean, had every item you need for your stay. From beach toys and life jackets to showers at every corner. The design of the house is perfection! Can't wait to come back!
