The room was clean and comfortable. It was very spacious, which was great for the kid with us. The beds were comfortable. We slept well. The bathroom door did not slide to close, so we had to shower and everything with the door open. No privacy. We parked on the street to avoid paying $39 to park. It was well lit and safe. Upon check out we were charged $4.73 CA Tourism Fee we were not expecting. Overall nice short stay

Hotel conveniently located for a weekday event. However I would have liked to see cleaner rooms especially floors (bathroom & carpet).

This property was in a great part of town. It was close to the freeways, location was close to a lot of dining, Starbucks, malls, movie theaters. I was extremely disappointed in the room. Our first night was awful. The air conditioning wasn’t working and it was so warm in the room. We spoke to the front desk, hours later it was fixed. I was so tired from being up all night that it really ultimately ruined the trip. Our last night was much more pleasant. Could definitely update the beds and maybe pillows.

I needed to change my reservation a week in advance. Expedia allowed it but Double Tree would not allow the change.
What a waste

I have always liked the property but this last stay it was dirty. There were small ants. The AC did not cool.

The property was nice and the staff were friendly. However, our toilet and walls had brown stains and there were ants in our bathroom. To top it off, the water pressure in the shower was super low.

we were dissatisfied with the service. I had luggage and ice chest and a bag. I was trying to get into the lobby to check in. No one offered to help l had to find someone to help. There were ants in our bathroom. We had employees come and want to take care of ant issue while my husband was still in bed. I told them to come back after we checked out.

The hotel lobby pumped in a very strong overpowering scent to cover up the bad smells from the surrounding area. It was so strong it gave up headaches. The rooms were filled ld with “popcorn “ ceilings and the bathroom was small and needed updating. Also, the hotel charges a mandatory daily “transient” fee tax to pay for all the homeless people.

Should add acoustic sound in the rooms to drown out all other noise from neighbors.

Room was clean, upon entering however it had a musty smell. We kept finding ants in the bathroom. A couple had made their way to our toothbrushes which were on the counter. I asked for no cleaning service during our stay, however our room had been cleaned. Elevator C made an uncomfortable noise, definitely avoided riding on it.

The hotel lobby is grand, it’s inviting. Check in was easy. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby, super convenient. Once we get on the elevator, specifically the elevator C, it makes this horrible noise, it’s very uneasy to be in there. I avoided it completely. Once in our room, we had 3 separate rooms reserved, one of the groups in our party had to be moved. The room had ants and the restroom sliding door wouldn’t slide. The other two rooms seemed fine. However we did find lingering ants in the restroom. The rooms were cleaned however, and even though we were expecting our room to be cleaned during our stay, we were surprised to find our beds made and trash taken out. Stayed here a few years back, hotel definitely shows its aging.
