Review for Honolulu Airport Hotel Unfortunately, our experience at the Honolulu Airport Hotel was very disappointing. We found several cockroaches in the room, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the front desk staff were extremely impatient and rude, showing little to no concern for our issues. Despite the convenient location near the airport, the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service left us regretting our choice. We hope the management takes immediate action to address these problems for the sake of future guests.

This hotel felt very rundown and old. Everything about the hotel smelled musty and gross. The bed sheets had holes in them and the fridge had not been cleaned out from the previous person staying in the room. The hotel is near a highway and so if you are a light sleeper it is hard to fall asleep. They charge a resort fee even though they don’t offer any “resort” amenities. Felt uneasy staying at this hotel. The only thing that was nice about the hotel was the airport shuttle.

The room was very noisy due to the A/C unit and noise coming from outside. Mattress was very hard and every movement of one of us shacked the bed.

We've stayed here many times, it's close to the airport for a quick over night. It's clean, the front desk people are very friendly but the rooms are a bit dated. Honestly, it's all perfectly fine while passing through. We were not thrilled with the $25 fee for wifi, shuttle, etc.

Quick easy shuttle pickup at airport and great front desk staff. Late night arrival, early morning departure. Coffee in the lobby would have been a nice touch while we waited for our shuttle.

Arrived at hotel after 11pm. Had to stay overnight due to wife's surgery, before returning to neighbor island home. Wife was in wheelchair. Reserved "accessible'" room. Room was on 4th floor, none on 1st floor. I asked about a room on 1st floor and was told they were dog-friendly rooms. So elevator trip was mandatory. Elevator was S L O W. In case of an emergengy, such as a fire, when elevators might be shut down, how does one get a wheelchair bound human down 4 flights of stairs? But pet owners can walk their animals outside, and watch rescuers struggle to get humans out. Hotel management has their head up you know where. But worst was trying to get wheelchair into door I was directed to use. Narrow double doors, that required both doors to be opened before standard size wheelchair could enter. This required several attempts while pulling chair up a slight incline with a lady who was not feeling well. Oh, did I mention the ruts coming to the incline from the sidewalk? Not handicap accessible in the slightest. Bottom line, on future trips, I will never use this Best Western Hotel again. I urge anyone considering this hotel to think long and hard before booking.

It’s a bit like taking a step back in time…but not in a cute nostalgic way. It is dated. This includes the mattress. It felt like it could have been original to the hotel’s opening date. We only stayed there for the last night of our trip so we would be close to the airport for our early flight. This is really all I would recommend this hotel for. It got the job done. Getting to the airport with the shuttle was quick and very easy.

Took forever to get checked in then was charged $100 more for breakfast and drink tickets that was not worth it. We didn’t need drink tickets and I went to have breakfast and it took 25 minutes for 2 eggs, bacon and potatoes and when I got them they were cold. Server was rude also.

The location can't be beat. The free airport shuttle is a great, just wish it ran more frequently than once an hour. Overall, the property finishes are a bit tired, but the bathroom is clean and the bed comfy. And the AC works!

Entire front desk staff were very friendly and showed compassion for our situation. Every employee greeted us in passing. The housekeepers took pride in their work and were very pleasant to talk to. I will highly recommend this property! We will be very sad to leave!

Very happy with our stay, both restaurant and bar open. Much appreciate the courtesy bus, we rang on landing and bus arrived in 5 minutes to pick us up. Return bus to the airport leaves on the hour, Location is perfect if transiting through Honolulu for 1 night.

Perfect for a transitional hotel. We came late at night and jumped on the airport shuttle that was very quick. Hotel is very close to the airport. Was exactly what we expected. Clean and efficient with a nice restaurant for a good breakfast.

Very convenient to Airport...what I was looking for. Shuttle was good, well organized and quick delivery. The bad: my room had odor and toilet was not flushed, so not sure about cleanliness.
