Hotel was in fabulous location just off Marienplatz. It was cute, had little pastries on check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice breakfast room. Perfect base to explore central Munich and super close to U and S bahn stop. Sad I only stayed one night. Would definitely stay longer in the future.

Very nice stay here . It's right in the old town with in walking distance to all the restaurants and bars and attractions. Wonderful breakfast and delicious dinner from the hotel's restaurant. Being near a lot of bars was very noisy but we shut our windows and not another sound Would stay here again

The most important aspect of the hotel is the location between Isartor and Marienplatz with easy access to public transportation- U-Bahn and S-Bahn. There are many great restaurants in the area. The hotel has a great breakfast buffet-included in the price for the room.

This hotel has the best location if you want to stay in the old downtown area. You are just a few hundred feet from the Marienplatz. They have a great breakfast every morning. Its just of the square so not any noise at night.

Hotel is in an excellent location close to old town centre, subway and lots of restaurants/ bars etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast was included in tariff. Negatives - room and bathroom were both small and towels thin.

The location of this hotel is ideal. Close to center city, restaurants and key sites in Munich. Our room was quite small but clean and comfortable. The only drawback was we had a street facing room so was a bit noisy at night with a McDonalds right next door. Altogether it was great for a night or two in Munich.

Loved it! Excellent location (very shirt walk to everything!) Superb breakfast, small(ish) room but comfortable and clean, okay aircon, elevator, FREE BIKES!!!! Loved the ability to sight-see via bikes. Definitely stay here for laction/facilities vs price!

The best about this hotel is the location and the breakfast. I also appreciate total darkness in the from when you turn the curtain. Another positive thing is air conditioning and windows that shut out the street noise. BUT sleeping on pure plastic is awful!! Please change the bed covers!!!

What a nice little hotel. The location could not have been better, and the property was spotlessly clean. Listening to the church bells each morning as amazing. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with all of our needs. And there was an amazing and substantial breakfast available each morning. There are wonderful restaurants everywhere, just a 5–10-minute walk from the front door. If there was one issue, it would be, try to get a room away from the street side of the property. There are quite a few people at the cafes until late in the night including a McDonald's, right next door, that is open 23 hours a day. I would stay at this property again, in a heartbeat, just not the front. Loved it! '

Hotel Schlicker was amazing, definitely my favorite hotel in Munich thus far. The room was large and spacious with a beautiful bathroom. The area was walkable with lots of restaurants and Marienplatz within a 3 minute walk. We came to do bag drop off in the early morning and they let us check in early which was so awesome! Great staff, location, and rooms. 100% recommend this hotel!

This is a hotel located in an excellent location in the city center, very close to all the sites. Good and varied breakfast and excellent service. An air conditioner in a room that needs improvement does not cool sufficiently even though it was on maximum. The double mattress is springy and uncomfortable so that two sleepers together feel every movement of their partner. Excellent cleaning service, excellent reception service.

Perfectly located, room quite small but adequate in part because of a clever construction that is at once an open closet, a storage shelf, coffee and fridge cabinet and a desk. It cuts off your entry into the room but equally makes the small room liveable. Parking be warned, there is no place to stop in front of the hotel. The hotel has some parking places in its courtyard behind for a reasonable €15 per night, but access to it is down an entry prohibited pedestrian street for which you ideally should have the hotel’s safe conduct paper in case you are stopped by police. My friend waited in the car on a side street while I went in to find all this out, get directions and have a permit printed. Don’t know why this is not explained and provided online? Breakfast excellent. Big buffet with service.
