Checking in took over 25 minutes, making it the slowest check-in experience I’ve ever had. The room’s lighting is poor, so if you’re preparing for a function, consider getting ready beforehand and bring your own steamer or iron. The in-room iron didn’t work, and I couldn’t reach anyone at the front desk for assistance. Additionally, the room was excessively dry—I woke up with a film on my teeth and a swollen face due to the lack of humidity. Too top it off, our room was right beside the elevator and you could hear every person getting on and off.

Hotel was great. Excellent value. Room was too warm, and although we adjusted temperature still too hot. Wait times long to check in and for concierge service, although once helped service was amazing.

We stayed here last night for some nostalgia. Hadn't been back since our wedding night 25 years ago!
The reviews that indicate its terrible, I don't agree with that, but it is rather dated and things are getting worn.
There are a few things that bothered us:
It indicated underground parking but just so you know its open to the side of the ravine so its by no means underground as it is open air still. It also costs $25 for an overnight which is quite steep for it being unheated and not having access for 24 hrs.
We got a room with 2 double beds:
They cheap out with the bedding. The online photo shows typical nice white bedding set up with 4 pillows per bed and 2 decorative ones, but when we arrived there were 2 per bed and on one bed the pillows weren't even the same size- one was a small pillow. And no extras in the room.
There was only blanket per bed (besides the 2 sheets) that was folded in half that doesn't even reach the edges of the bed so one of us froze all night even after stealing the blanket on the other bed. I guess we should called front desk but who wants to do that in the middle of the night. No extra blankets in the room.
We should have got a king bed I guess!
The room was clean enough, although the bathroom could use a bit more detailed cleaning.
The staff was nice. They did offer an upgrade to the concierge floor because it was our 25 year anniversary but we would have had to pay extra so we declined.
Glad we went back but it was disappointing.

I think that maybe moving furniture or at least looking under it would be beneficial…there was a pair of underwear under the chair and they did not belong to us! Room 316

The room was too hot, thermostat didn’t work at all, no air flow at all.
Apparently the top floors get like that this time of year.

This hotel was just okay. The taps in the bathroom were broken, the room was dirty the carpet had sticky stains on them. The bathtub had grin in the cracks. There was no option for air in our room just a fan that circulated the hot air around, the windows didn’t open so we couldn’t cool our room off. We had our thermostat set to 16 with the fan going. The hallways felt cooler with fresh air as our room felt muggy and stale.

The staff were great - very accommodating!! The hotel is dated but relatively clean. The issue we had was the bed and pillows weren’t comfortable and it was difficult to get a comfortable temperature in the room

No fridge, sketchy parking.
Pulled out hide a bed, it was the most disgusting thing I’ve see in a hotel. Blood was all over the sheet, it was wet with some liquid and wet on the floor as well. We got a whopping free breakfast and parking for the “inconvenient” sleeping bed.

The room was fine but the problem was the cafe and lounge only being open from 5 or 5:30 until 10. We had to try to find alternate eating establishments for our meals as we had to leave by 5:15 to get to the rodeo and the rodeo was not over until close to 10pm. Also tried the breakfast one morning and nothing in the buffet when we got there as it all needed to be refilled. Also only came around with one cup of coffee. The other thing is no one knew where they were supposed to pay their bill {quite a wait when it was finally figured out where to pay}The staff at front desk were very nice and extrememly helpful.

Staff are friendly and great.
Parking is not great here for a pickup truck.
Rotating restaurant not open (closed Monday and Tuesdays :( - the reason we wanted to stay here.
Great view of the river and city!
Close enough to walk to Roger’s Place.
Lots of homeless on and around property.

I got a combination of about 2 hrs of sleep.
The room directly above is had a couple fighting allllll night. My first call to the front desk wat at 11:30pm, second was at 1:00am and third was at 4:20am.
The last call I was advised that they were now calling the police because the yelling guests were refusing to leave…
Why did they allow this massive disruption to go on very so long?!
